Abstract

Integrating face to face and online learning are growing rapidly. Recently, blended learning is a model of learning that able to enhance and optimize learning. This paper describes learners’ behavior in the implementation of blended learning through the University’s Learning Management System (LMS). This model is the combination of face-to-face and online learning which consist of many applications such as student voice recording, user roles, courses, students’ assessment, discussion forum, and internal communication. The intensions of this study is to observe the students’ behavior on language learning implemented by blended learning model. We further attempt to understand the students’ behavior, attitude, and achievement. The participants of this study are 37 students from the first semester of Informatics Technology (IT) department. The students were taught in blended learning approach by using ‘eBelajar’. Based on the results of the implementation of blended learning in the teaching and learning process, the researchers found that blended learning was more effective and efficient educational experiences rather than face-to-face learning. The findings of this study also showed that students were satisfied with the use of blended learning in the teaching-learning process, and their academic achievements were also better than expected. It is suggested that the teachers and students can use blended learning for others subjects in order to make the teaching-learning process more alive and make the students feel enjoy in joining the learning processes.

Abstract

Lozenges, a quasi-drug used to relieve sore throats, must meet the safety and quality requirements according to Indonesian FDA Regulation No. 7 of 2023 concerning the criteria and procedures for quasi-drug registration, which stipulates that oral preparations of quasi-drugs must be free from Shigella spp—microbial contamination. Contamination by Shigella bacteria can cause diseases such as shigellosis, characterized by symptoms such as diarrhoea, vomiting, and fever. This study aims to validate the Shigella spp—detection method in quasi-drug lozenges using the WHO (Quality Control Methods for Herbal Materials) reference method. Validation was carried out to ensure that this method can be used for routine analysis in the Indonesian FDA laboratory. The guidelines used to validate the microbiological method are the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) Guidance Notes C&B AND ENV 002 of 2019 and refer to pharmacopoeias. The study results showed that the WHO (Quality Control Methods for Herbal Materials) method in detecting Shigella sp. has a sensitivity and specificity of 100%, with false positive and false negative rates of 0% each. The detection limit obtained was 3 cfu/g, which meets the requirements (below 10 cfu/g). The method suitability test (optimization) showed that the initial solvent used for sample homogenization in Shigella detection was sufficient using Tryptone Soya Broth (1:10) without additional neutralization or modification procedures at the sample homogenization stage. Based on these results, the Shigella spp. The WHO reference (Quality Control Methods for Herbal Materials) detection method is accurate. It can be applied for routine microbial contamination testing analysis in the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency laboratories.

Abstract

Bud sett is one type of sugarcane planting material that is efficient in terms of size, allowing the distribution process in large quantities from variety producers to users. However, its smaller size than mule-shaped planting material will cause the freshness of bud sett planting material to decrease more quickly during storage due to the delayed planting period. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of delayed planting at various storage periods of bud sett sugarcane seeds on the initial growth and production of sugarcane seeds. This study used a Randomized Block Design with 3 replications. The treatment of delayed planting period was 5 levels, namely without storage period (T0), storage period 1 x 24 hours (T1), storage period 2 x 24 hours (T2), storage period 3 x 24 hours (T3) and storage period 4 x 24 hours jam (T4). The data were analyzed variously and tested for the mean value using the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at the 5% level. The results showed that the weight and germination of bud setts decreased with increasing length of the delayed planting period. In general, the storage period for bud sett seeds does not have a significant effect on seedling growth and seedling production.

Abstract

Pembukaan lahan untuk tempat tinggal merupakan kebutuhan yang tidak bisa dihindari. Akan tetapi pembukaan lahan tersebut seringkali tidak melihat struktur kondisi tanah. Pergeseran tanah yang terjadi pada permukaan tanah adalah indikasi terjadinya bencana tanah longsor. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan suatu sistem data logger. Pembuatan data logger ini menggunakan sampel tanah berwarna merah dan pasir, masing-masing dengan massa 500gram dan 1000gram. Simulasi dilakukan dengan cara membuat suatu jalur pergeseran dan diuji dengan sudut 15°, 30°, 45°, dan 60°. Data dari sensor berupa nilai ADC, yang bertambah sesuai pergeseran tanah dan dikirim dengan wireless, ditampilkan pada Visual Basic dan disimpan di Microsoft Access. Selain itu terdapat modul SD card untuk penyimpanan data cadangan. Hasil dari pengujian modul Data Logger ini mampu mendeteksi pergeseran tanah sejauh ± 221 cm dengan sensitifitas 10cm = 46 nilai ADC. Pengujian pada tanah berwarna merah dan pasir pada sudut 15° tidak mengalamii pergeseran. Sedangkan pengujian untuk massa 500gram pada sudut 30°, 45°, 60° dihasilkan masing-masing kecepatan rata - rata 1,39m/s dan 1,38m/s, 7,73m/s dan 7,78m/s serta 8,17 dan 8,22m/s. Untuk massa 1000gram pada sudut yang sama menghasilkan kecepatan rata-rata 0,77m/s dan 0,76m/s, dan 4,34m/s dan 4,31m/s, , serta 4,58m/s dan 4,68m/s. Abstract

Trend belanja online di Indonesia semakin meningkat, membuat e-commerce seperti Shopee semakin kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh e-WOM (electronic Word of Mouth) dan persepsi kualitas terhadap keputusan pembelian di Shopee, dengan kepercayaan sebagai variabel moderator. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan analisis SEM melalui aplikasi SmartPLS, penelitian melibatkan 126 responden dari PT. Bridgestone Tire Indonesia dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa e-WOM memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, dengan koefisien 0.250 dan P-value 0.006. Selain itu, e-WOM juga berpengaruh positif pada kepercayaan (koefisien 0.248, P-value 0.009). Kepercayaan kemudian berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian (koefisien 0.383, P-value 0.000). Persepsi kualitas pun menunjukkan pengaruh positif pada keputusan pembelian (koefisien 0.250, P-value 0.011) dan kepercayaan (koefisien 0.513, Pvalue 0.000). Pengaruh tidak langsung antara e-WOM dan persepsi kualitas terhadap keputusan pembelian melalui kepercayaan sebagai moderator juga signifikan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya dan pengembangan lebih lanjut di bidang ini. Kata Kunci: e-WOM, Persepsi kualitas, Kepercayaan, Keputusan Pembelian, Online Shop Shopee
