Abstract

During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Indonesian government implemented Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) to curb the spread of the coronavirus. These restrictions have limited community mobility, resulting in the need for adaptation to new circumstances. The shift from in-person shopping to online platforms has become essential for fulfilling basic needs. E-commerce, the electronic buying and selling of goods, has emerged as a crucial solution. This study aims to examine whether there are differences in visits to e-commerce websites in Indonesia in light of these behavioral changes. A quantitative approach is employed, utilizing data on website visits during the COVID-19 pandemic and distributing questionnaires. The findings demonstrate that the pandemic has indeed impacted the number of visits to e-commerce websites. The increase in website visits has led to a surge in online financial transactions, a greater demand for expedited delivery services due to the high volume of products to be shipped, an increase in the requirement for packaging materials, and a higher demand for labor in product packaging services.

Abstract

Tujuan buta kasara meningkatkan pengetahuan membaca , menulis  dan keterampilan fungsional meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia bagi masyarakat di Desa Klatakan Dusun Karajan.. Pendekatan dalam pelaksanaan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek adalah warga masyarakat desa Metode yang digunakan oleh pengabdi melipouti; tahap persiapan, tahap sosialisasi, tahap pemberantasan, tahap pembinaan, tahap pelestarian dan dokumentasi. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa program pemberantasan buta aksara secara keseluruhan berjalan secara efektif dan efisien. Peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat baik dalam aspek membaca dan menulis. Pencapaian ini bisa dilihat pada persentase kemampuan membaca dan menulis peserta 85% atau 11 orang peserta yang sudah mampu membaca dan menulis, sedangkan persentase kemampuan menulis peserta 15% atau 2 orang masyarakat sudah mampu menulis namun masih kurang mampu membaca. persentase kehadiran masyarakat yang mengikuti buta aksara sebesar 100%. Hasil survei angket yang dibuat pengabdi, diketahui persentase sebagai berikut: Sangat puas (SP) sebesar 76.7%, Puas (P) sebesar 24,7%, Cukup Puas (CP) sebesar 7,7% dan Kurang Puas (KP) sebesar 0% hasil dari analisis angket tujuannya mengevaluasi dampak dan efektivitas. Sehingga tim pengabdi menyimpulkan masyarakat di Desa Klatakan Dusun Krajan sangat antusias mengikuti pengabdian Buta Aksara terdapat peningkatan pada masyarakat mengenal huruf, membaca dan menulis setelah diberikan pendampingan selama pelaksanaan program buta aksara oleh mahasiswa PBPMD.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: The influence of promotions, prices and product variants on purchasing decisions for Scarlett Whitening products among students at the Faculty of Economics, UNISKA MAB, both simultaneously and partially. This research design is quantitative research. The research population was all students from the Faculty of Economics, UNISKA MAB and a sample of 90 respondents. The results of this research show: this test produces information that the three independent variables simultaneously have a significant influence on purchasing decisions for Scarlett Whitening Products. Meanwhile, partial test results show that promotion variables, price and product variants have a significant influence on purchasing decisions for Scarlett Whitening products.

Abstract

This study was prompted by the low scores students obtained on the topic of lines and angles in Grade VII at MTsS Hidayatul Insan, Palangka Raya. The aim of this research is to describe the students' learning outcomes after the implementation of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) method on the lines and angles topic in Grade VII. The subjects of this study were Grade VII students in the second semester at MTsS Hidayatul Insan, Palangka Raya, during the 2019/2020 academic year. This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The instrument used was a learning outcomes test sheet. Student performance was measured through a final test administered to 22 students, of which 19 students achieved scores above the minimum competency criterion (KKM) of 65, indicating successful completion, while 3 students did not meet this criterion. The overall achievement level was 74.54%, meaning that the students' comprehension of the material was ≥65%, categorized as "achieved." Additionally, the classical learning completeness rate was 86.36%.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a skill that students must have. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of critical thinking skills of grade X students of MA Miftahul Hidayah. The method used is descriptive method with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires in the form of questionnaires and post-test questions related to critical thinking skills. The population in this study were all grade X students while the sample size was 19 students. Based on this study, it was found that the level of critical thinking of grade X students of MA Miftahul Hidayah was in the moderate category. Thus, better guidance needs to be done in order to improve students' critical thinking skills, for example by applying the project-based learning method which is believed to be more effective in encouraging the improvement of critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to assist students at SMK Al-Wathoniyyah in reducing anxiety when choosing a career path after completing vocational secondary education through group counseling services with an existential humanistic approach. High anxiety about career choices, such as deciding between pursuing a desired college major or working in line with their passion, is a common issue faced by high school or vocational students, typically aged 15-18, who are still in their adolescent developmental stage. This research uses a qualitative method with a population of 5 twelfth-grade students and 2 students as the research sample. The instrument used in this study is an interview, followed by a treatment in the form of group counseling services with an existential humanistic approach. Group counseling services with an existential humanistic approach are effective in reducing students' anxiety in career decision-making.

Abstract

Di masa saat ini banyak perusahaan yang gulung tikar ditengah masa kejayaannya dikarenakan adanya masalah, salah satunya adalah keuangan perusahaan yang terus menurun. Maka dari itu melalui penelitian ini ditujukan dalam memprediksi Financial Distress peusahaan melalui model altman z-score dengan membandingkannya kepada kinerja keuangan yang diukur melalui rasio keuangan seperti profitabilitas, likuiditas, Leverage, aktivitas dan sales growth. Dengan metode penelitian yakni pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Dengan sampel 25 terdiri dari 5 perusahaan dan 5 periode. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari laporan keuangan tahunan yang dipublikasikan oleh perusahaan sektor perdagangan eceran di BEI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan profitabilitas, likuiditas , Leverage, aktivitas dan sales growth secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Financial Distress dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Kemudian secara parsial profitabilitas, likuiditas dan aktivitas berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Financial Distress, sedangkan sisanya Leverage dan sales growth tidak berpengaruh terhadap Financial Distress.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of brand image, lifestyle, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), and service quality on consumer satisfaction at Searah Cafe in Samarinda City. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to 95 respondents who are consumers of Searah Cafe. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 30 software.The results of the study indicate that simultaneously the variables of brand image, lifestyle, e-WOM, and service quality have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. Partially, the four variables of brand image, lifestyle, e-WOM, and service quality have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction. These findings indicate the importance of strengthening brand image, adapting consumer lifestyles, improving service quality, and utilizing e-WOM positively to increase consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study is based on the importance of quality education in improving the quality of learning. One approach that can be applied is the Role Playing learning model, which allows students to learn actively through roles in learning scenarios. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the application of the Role Playing model on student learning outcomes on food chain material in grade V of SD Negeri Lamtheun, Aceh Besar. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain an overview of students' experiences and responses in learning using the Role Playing model. The results showed that the application of this model increased students' understanding of the concept of the food chain, encouraged active participation, and improved their communication skills. In addition, the learning atmosphere becomes more interesting and enjoyable, so that students can more easily understand the material concretely. Based on the results of the study, the Role Playing model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes. Therefore, this model is recommended to be applied in science learning to create a more active, creative, and meaningful learning environment.

Abstract

This study examines students' perceptions and experiences in using ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence-based application, in learning English writing. Using mixed methods, data was obtained through questionnaires involving 40 students and interviews involving 3 students from the English Education program in 1st semester at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur (UMKT). The findings indicated that while ChatGPT is perceived as accessible and easy to use, a significant number of students expressed neutrality or concerns regarding its efficacy in supporting English writing development. However, many students were uncertain about its contribution to improve their writing skills, with some expressing doubt about the accuracy of its suggestions and concerns about over-reliance on the tool. This study concluded that despite its potential, ChatGPT's effectiveness in enhancing English writing remained debatable due to these reservations.
