Abstract

Students spend a lot of time with their peers, so that students experience changes in their lifestyle and appearance. These changes often occur when they see new and interesting things, especially their consumer behavior. The study aims to answer the following questions: 1) Does pocket money affect the consumer behavior of students majoring in Islamic Economics, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN North Sumatra, class of 2017, 2) Does self-control affect the consumer behavior of students majoring in Islamic Economics, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN North Sumatra, class of 2017, 3) Does advertising affect the consumer behavior of students majoring in Islamic Economics, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN North Sumatra, class of 2017, 4) Do pocket money, self-control and advertising affect the consumer behavior of students majoring in Islamic Economics, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN North Sumatra, class of 2017? This study uses a quantitative approach with a total of 73 people based on Proportional Random Sampling, data was collected using a questionnaire technique. The analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that partially the variables of pocket money (X1), self-control (X2), advertising (X3), and have a significant effect on the consumer behavior of students majoring in Islamic Economics, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UINSU because the significant value is <0.05. This is obtained by the significant value of pocket money 0.021, self-control 0.008 and advertising 0.000. The effect of the pocket money variable partially on the consumer behavior of students is 20.4%, the self-control variable is 26.6% and advertising is 51.4%. Simultaneously, the variables of pocket money (X1), self-control (X2) and advertising (X3) have a significant effect on the consumer behavior of students majoring in Islamic Economics, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 and its influence is 48.9%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan melihat infrastruktur bentuk fasilitas umum terhadap pola perkembangan pariwisata di daerah provinsi Sumatera Utara terkhusus Kabpaten Langkat. Data yang di gunakan yaitu data valid, baik dari data dari pemerintah melihat pembangunan yang dilakukan, pengunjung wisatawan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terlihat progres yang cukup baik, hanya saja di pembangunan yang dilakukan belum maksimal sehingga sarana yang dipakai sebagai penunjang pariwisata belum sesuia yang diharapkan. Harapan kedepannya semua pihak terkait pembangunan Insfrastruktur maupun pariwisata bisa menjalankan program pembangunan untuk kawasan yang mendominasi perkembangan.

Abstract

Kemampuan Soft skill dan hard skill sangat dibutuhkan bagi setiap karyawan pada sebuah instansi termasuk pada PT. Bank Sumut Syariah Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengaruh hard skill dan soft skill terhadap kompetensi karyawan di PT Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Lubuk Pakam terhadap 40 responden dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Dalam melakukan analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda, uji hipotesis klasik, F, t, dan koefisien determinasi dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua jenis keterampilan tersebut mempengaruhi kompetensi karyawan secara signifikan, dengan soft skill memberikan dampak yang lebih besar. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya integrasi kedua keterampilan ini untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan mencapai tujuan perusahaan, serta menekankan pentingnya strategi pengembangan yang secara bersamaan meningkatkan hard skill dan soft skill

Abstract

Sumatera utara merupakan sebuah provinsi di barat Indonesia yang memiliki banyak sekali jenis sub sektor pertanian. Namun ada sebuah fenomena di masyarakat, khususnya di daerah Labuhan Batu Selatan dimana perkebunan karet yang sudah dijalankan selama bertahun-tahun dan menjadi penghidupan perekonomian di daerah tersebut dialihfungsikan menjadi perkebunan karet. Penelitian ini disusun dan dikerjakan melalui pendekatan deskriptif kombinasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik, perkembangan komoditas lahan pertanian di Sumatera Utara khususnya Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Selatan dari tahun 2019-2021. Untuk mendukung data tersebut, tim peneliti juga melakukan wawancara kepada beberapa orang petani karet di kabupaten tersebut mengenai alih fungsi lahan pertanian karet dan kelapa sawit. Untuk mencari tahu kembali, peneliti melakukan wawancara kepada beberapa petani di wilayah Labuhan Batu Selatan agar data yang peneliti terima bisa disesuaikan dengan kondisi di masyarakat. Peralihan lahan karet ke sawit ini terjadi karena keuntungan yang diterima petani sawit lebih besar penghasilannya karena harga dan buahnya lebih stabil dibandingkan harga karet dan juga pengerjaan karet yang lebih rumit.

Abstract

This study analyzes consumer perceptions of Samsung products promoted by BTS's Suga as a brand ambassador, focusing on the impact of the controversial issue related to DUI involving Suga. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through an open-ended questionnaire distributed online to Samsung consumers and BTS fans (ARMY). The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify dominant themes in consumer perceptions. The results of the study indicate that despite the controversial issue involving BTS's Suga as Samsung's brand ambassador, consumer perceptions of Samsung products have a positive view, although there are some weaknesses identified. Suga's influence as a brand ambassador is more pronounced among BTS fans, who feel an emotional connection with their idol. However, many respondents were not affected by the controversial issue and continued to judge the product based on its quality. Respondents also expect Samsung to handle this issue professionally and transparently. This study emphasizes the importance of managing controversial issues and selecting the right brand ambassador in marketing strategies to maintain brand loyalty and consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study intends to find out the level of poverty in the Medan city area and how the government's efforts/solutions deal with it. The research method used is a qualitative approach which is a literature study. This study also uses secondary data, namely the results of the percentage of the population below the poverty line from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Seen in 2017 the number of people below the poverty line in the city of Medan amounted to 204 thousand people, which is a fairly high number, In 2018, the number of poor people fell by 18,000, and in 2019 alone the number of people below the poverty line fell in the city of Medan around 183 thousand people but in 2020 the poverty rate in the city of Medan is still around 183,000 people, but in 2021 the poverty rate in the city of Medan will increase dramatically to around 193,000 people

Abstract

Kemiskinan adalah salah satu masalah mendasar di jantung negara dan wilayah. Kemiskinan yang dihadapi semua negara, terutama negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Tujuan dari jurnal ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dampak-dampak di indonesia. Penelitian ini pendekatan analitik yang menggabungkan teknik regresi linier berganda. Jenis data untuk survei ini memakai data sekunder. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemiskinan dan kesenjangan pendapatan ditinjau dari pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) risk management in the loading and unloading process on KM Sabuk Nusantara 110. The main focus of this study is to identify potential hazards, assess the level of risk, and evaluate the effectiveness of implementing safety procedures on the ship. Using qualitative methods, data were collected through in-depth interviews with chief engineers and stevedoring workers and related literature reviews. The results of the study identified several major potential hazards, such as the breaking of the crane steel rope due to excess load capacity, the risk of slipping due to the slippery ship floor, and the lack of worker awareness in using personal protective equipment (PPE). Although there have been no significant work accidents, the implementation of the OHS SOP still has weaknesses, especially in supervision and routine training for workers. Therefore, this study recommends increasing supervision of the use of PPE, preventive maintenance of equipment, and holding periodic training to increase worker awareness and compliance with safety procedures. These findings are expected to be the basis for formulating more effective occupational safety policies in the maritime sector.

Abstract

A SWOT analysis is required to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that have been described in order to later increase CV. Sehati Berkah Utama's sales with market competition. The last sales at CV. Sehati Berkah Utama during the 2022–2024 period showed a significant increase in revenue. In order to boost sales at CV. Sehati Berkah Utama, this study attempts to identify company growth methods in Islamic economic studies by performing a SWOT analysis. Field research and literature study data types are used in this qualitative study's case study methodology. The business development plan utilized to boost sales at CV is the outcome of the data collection methods, which include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drafting. Shiddiq, Amanah, Fathanah, and Tabligh are the traits of the Prophet Muhammad SAW that form the foundation of Sehati Berkah Utama. And based on the theory and concept of Islamic business development strategies, it can be said that the business development plan in this Islamic economic study is appropriate.
