Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how the use of cooperative learning jigsaw type in science learning to increase students? learning outcomes. The method of this research is action classroom research. The subject of this research is fourth grade students of SD Negeri 03 Bengkayang. This research is done in three cycle where in each has one phase: preparation, implementation, observation, and reflection. Technique of data collecting in this research is IPKG I, IPKG II, and evaluation. Technique of analysis data used is qualitative and quantitative. Based on the data analysis, teacher ability on planning and implementing of science learning is improved. In the first cycle, the score of teacher ability on planning is 2.16 point, 2.82 point, and the third cycle is 3.72 point. Meanwhile, on the teacher implementation, the score in the first cycle  is 1.76 point, the second cycle is 2.92 point, and the third cycle is 3.93 point. The result of students? evaluation is 42.42% students get 62.42 in the first cycle, 66.67% students get 68.78, and 100% students get 75.75. In conclusion, jigsaw type can improve students? learning outcomes in science learning. Keywords : Improving,  Jigsaw Type, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

In design of a vehicle that is comfortable and safe while driving and to improve work performance on a vehicle, there are a number of things to consider, namely the steering system, brakes, suspension and transmission system. In this research, the writer will design and analyze the transmission system in Asykar Proto Gasolin Energy Saving Vehicle. The study began by searching for car specification data, Asykar Proto then calculating the center of gravity, then calculating the car speed at each gear ratio in the transmission system, measuring fuel consumption, calculating the mileage on each gear, calculating net traction force, designing the transmission system such as shafts, bearings, sprockets, chains and analysis. From this research, we will find what fuel consumption and distance can be achieved in 1 liter of fuel by Asykar Proto Gasolin Energy Saving Vehicle.Keywords : transmission system, Asykar Proto Gasolin Energy Saving Vehicle, car mileage in 1 litre of fuel

Abstract

AbstractStock price volatility reflects the risk dan opportunity gained by investors. Investors need to pay attention on indicators in technical analysis that will affect stock prices volatility, such as trading volume, trading frequency, and the absolute difference between demand volume and supply volume, known as order imbalance. This study is aimed at examining the effect of trading volume, trading frequency, and order imbalance on stock price volatility.The population of the study is all public firms listed at Indonesian Stock Exchange for periods of 2009-2010. Sample is determined using purposive sampling where the selected sample firms are not those conducting stock split, stock dividend, and right issue during the study periods.The results show that trading volume and order imbalance do not affect stock price volatility, whilst trading frequency affect negatively stock price volatility. The coefficient for trading frequency is in the opposite direction as it is expected to have positive sign.Keywords: trading volume, order imbalance, trading frequency, stock price volatility.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis supply chain management yang ada di PT. Prima RezekiPertiwi serta merancang aplikasi berbasis web untuk menerapkan E-Supply Chain Management. Metode yangdigunakan adalah metode analisis dan perancangan e-SCM. Metode analisis yang digunakan mencakuppreliminary steps (tahapan pendahuluan) dalam pengembangan e-SCM. Sedangkan metode perancanganmenggunakan pengembangan strategi e-SCM, perancangan customer service management, manufacturing andsupply chain planning, supplier relationship management, logisctic resource management serta arsitektur e-SCM yang dibutuhkan. Hasil yang dicapai adalah rancangan suatu sistem e-SCM yang mampu meningkatkanproduktifitas perusahaan melalui otomatisasi informasi antara partner dalam supply chain, mengurangi biayaoperasional penyimpanan barang serta mengintegrasikan informasi diantara divisi dalam perusahaan. Denganmenerapkan sistem e-SCM dalam PT. Abstract

Wind turbines are windmills that are used to generate electricity. The basic principle works, namely converting the mechanical energy from the wind into rotational energy, then the rotation of the mill is used to rotate the generator, which in turn will generate electricity. Over time, many turbine innovations have been used. Innovation can be done by fixing existing deficiencies or adding new things so that these products have additional functions. In this research, innovations were carried out in wind turbines. That is, two different types of turbines are combined into one, namely a combination of a conventional turbine (propeller) and a wind ball energy (venturi) turbine. This innovation is made so that the hybrid turbine can work and function at low wind speeds. This research is intended to determine the performance of this hybrid turbine by placing the propeller blade in the middle of the venturi turbine blade and varying the ratio of the length of the turbine propeller blade to the diameter of the venturi turbine. So that the right size and maximum results are obtained in the manufacture of this hybrid turbine. Key words: Hybrid Turbine, Propeller Turbine, Venturi Turbine.

Abstract

Persediaan bahan baku yang baik dapat membuat perusahaan tidak kekurangan bahan baku dan biaya yang dikeluarkan juga optimal. Adapun UKM Pempek DODO yang memiliki bahan baku yang lebih dari satu jenis. Selama ini pemesanan bahan baku selalu dilakukan setiap 2 kali sekali dalam satu minggu sehingga dalam satu tahun sekitar melakukan pemesanan selama 96 kali. Oleh karena itu ada baiknya pemesann bisa diminimumkan agar biaya dapat lebih dioptimalkan Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah EOQ (Economic Order Quantity). Karena ada bahan baku yang satu jenis dan memiliki satu supplier maka menggunakan metode EOQ single item single supplier. Sedangkan bahan baku yang memiliki kesamaan supplier menggunakan metode EOQ multi item single supplier. Dengan metode ini diharapkan dapat mengetahui jumlah pemesanan dan frekuensi optimal pada setiap bahan baku dengan asumsi tanggal kadarluarsa diabaikan. Maka hasil dengan metode EOQ total biayanya sebesar Rp 327.756.675,5 yang berarti menghemat biaya sebesar Rp 3.755.300.

Abstract

Keling Kumang Credit Union Cooperative is a savings and loan financial institution for the community in Piawas Village. This study aims to analyze the decision-making factors of farmers using (CU) as a source of farming finance. Data were analyzed using logit regression method. The results of this study indicate that total income, family expenses and the number of dependents do not have a significant partial effect on decisions. Abstract

The waters of the North Natuna Sea are one of Indonesia's conflict-prone maritime areas, frequently traversed by foreign vessels due to its direct border with several neighboring countries, necessitating effective maritime security assurance. To ensure this security, meticulous sea control and surveillance, particularly through the utilization of monitoring tools such as SONAR to detect foreign objects traversing or entering the North Natuna Sea waters, are required. This research aims to analyze the characteristics of underwater acoustic wave propagation patterns, particularly in the formation of silent areas or Shadow Zones, using the Parabolic Equation method (RAMGeo). Parabolic Equation propagation model (RAMGeo) simulations are conducted utilizing the AcTUP v2.2L Toolbox. Temperature and salinity data against depth obtained from Marine Copernicus for one year are utilized in this study, spanning from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, encompassing both the west and east monsoon seasons. Sound propagation velocity calculations are based on the empirical Medwin equation, with a focus on a source depth of 10 meters at frequencies of 100 and 1,000 Hz in the North Natuna Sea. Simulation results indicate that both the west and east monsoon seasons exhibit similar and dense underwater acoustic wave propagation patterns. At a frequency of 100 Hz, the Transmission Loss ranges between 30 to 60 dB, with Shadow Zone areas extending from 0 - 500 meters and from 500 - 1,500 meters. Meanwhile, at a frequency of 1,000 Hz, the Transmission Loss ranges between 30 to 70 dB, with almost no Shadow Zone area present.

Abstract

Pendeteksian jalur pipa kabel yang terletak di perairan Ancol Jakarta Utara merupakan suatu hal yang penting untuk mencegah kerusakan pada pipa kabel tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan teknologi Magnetometer dan Side Scan Sonar untuk mendeteksi jalur pipa kabel yang terletak di perairan Ancol Jakarta Utara. Metode Magnetometer digunakan untuk mendeteksi medan magnetik yang dihasilkan oleh pipa kabel di bawah laut sedangkan metode Side Scan Sonar digunakan untuk menghasilkan gambaran visual permukaan dasar laut dan mendeteksi objek yang ada di dalamnya. Data yang diperoleh dari kedua metode tersebut kemudian diproses dan dianalisis menggunakan software Oasis Montaj dan SonarWiz. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Magnetometer dapat menunjukkan target berdasarkan nilai anomali yang tinggi diyakini sebagai target sedangkan hasil Side Scan Sonar tidak dapat menunjukkan keberadaan pipa kabel bawah laut dikarenakan pipa kabel laut yang ditanam pada dasar laut.

Abstract

Titik Penyempitan (Choke Point) Selat Makassar adalah salah satu wilayah laut Indonesia yang memiliki potensi ancaman besar, termasuk temuan objek asing di dalam kolom air seperti ranjau dan drone bawah air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi karakteristik kolom air, khususnya lapisan termoklin yang diindikasikan sebagai wilayah persembunyian atau Shadow Zone, dengan kedalaman 0 hingga 300 meter di Titik Penyempitan Selat Makassar. Data suhu dan salinitas terhadap kedalaman yang diperoleh dari Marine Copernicus selama 1 tahun, dari 16 Desember 2019 hingga 16 Desember 2020, digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Selanjutnya, perhitungan kecepatan rambat suara dilakukan berdasarkan persamaan empiris Medwin, dan lapisan termoklin ditentukan dengan ciri gradien suhu perkedalaman sebesar 0,1ºC untuk setiap pertambahan kedalaman satu meter. Visualisasi data menggunakan software ODV 5.6.2 untuk menganalisis karakteristik kolom air terutama suhu, salinitas, dan kecepatan suara di lapisan termoklin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lapisan termoklin, yang berada pada kedalaman 78 hingga 130 meter, memiliki suhu berkisar 20,2 °C sampai 28,2 °C, salinitas 33,75 ‰ sampai 34,25 ‰, dan kecepatan suara 1525 m/s sampai 1540 m/s, dengan ketebalan lapisan termoklin sekitar 52 meter yang diindikasi sebagai daerah persembunyian atau Shadow Zone.
