Abstract

Family education is part of national education. This is stated in the National Education System law. Family education is the first and primary environment of Islamic education. This study seeks to explore various views on family education through literature studies (Library Research), Furthermore, the main ideas are explored with descriptive analytical patterns, then a blue print is presented in the corridor. The result is known that family education is a continuous and continuous guidance process. Some meanings of family according to the Koran related to the meaning of family include 'Al-A'ilah, 'Ahlun/Ahl,'Al-Qurba, 'Arhamun, 'Asyiroh. Surah at-Tahrim 66 verse 6 is a solid foundation for family education. The methods applied include discipline, exemplary, advice, habituation, execution and reward. The material/curriculum of family education includes creed education, worship education, Akhaqul Karimah education, reading the Koran and the value of Islamic teachings. The purpose of family education is to convey the basis of ethical education, produce good morals, prepare for the next life, namely the afterlife. Furthermore, endeavoring and trying to meet daily needs and maintaining the value dimension of goodness, fostering the spirit of demanding knowledge, and encouraging professionals. The function of family education is to foster Solidarity, Education as well as Social Control.

Abstract

Aurat is a member of the body that must be covered according to religion with clothing or the like according to their respective limits (women and men). Covering the aurat properly and in accordance with Islamic law must be done based on the student's self-awareness. If the aurat is opened intentionally then the culprit is sinful. Each of the women and men has aurat limits that have been set by Islamic law. Therefore, every Muslim and Muslimah is obliged to know the limits and then obey them by keeping their aurat in everyday life. Therefore, in this study the author wants to provide awareness to female students of the obligation to cover the aurat properly and in accordance with Islamic law and to provide ways to increase the awareness of female students in covering the aurat properly and in accordance with Islamic law. The problem discussed in this scientific paper is increasing the awareness of female students in covering the aurat properly which aims to determine the level of awareness of female students in covering the aurat properly outside the pesantren and how to increase the awareness of female students in covering the aurat properly and in accordance with Islamic law. This research uses library research, which uses the method of interviewing lecturers and female students at UIN RADEN INTAN LAMPUNG and with research methods using primary sources, namely in the form of books and journals relevant to this study. Based on the analysis conducted in this study, it is concluded that the level of awareness of female students in covering the aurat properly is still low and must be improved in order to be able to cover the aurat properly.

Abstract

Early marriage is a reality occurred in society. Some parents still have an understanding that getting their children married as soon as possible is part of the solution to lighten the burden on the family. This research aims to reveal what the ideal age for marriage in the theological perspective. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection by means of literature study, while data analysis is descriptive qualitative. This research concludes that theologically the age of marriage does not mention numbers, but the principle of maturity of the groom and bride. Therefore, the validity of marriage is not only due to the fulfillment of the pillars, but also develops in the fulfillment of the conditions of marriage. We recommend that the minimum age for marriage still refers to the latest law, in the age of 19 for men and women. This is because if the minimum age is lower than 19, it is still classified as children's age and is no longer relevant to today's era. Age shows a person's maturity to be able to marry in the perspective of theology, health (reproduction), psychology, and the ability to fulfill rights and obligations as husband and or wife.

Abstract

Charity (sedekah) is one of the most emphasized practices in Islam. In addition to being an act of worship, charity is believed to bring numerous benefits both in this world and the Hereafter. However, the understanding of the different types of charity and their impact on social and spiritual life still requires further exploration. This study aims to examine the concept of charity from the perspective of the Qur'an, explain the various types of charity, and discuss the benefits that can be gained from this practice, both materially and spiritually. This study uses a literature review methodology, analyzing Qur'anic verses and Hadiths, along with a review of related literature on charity. The analysis involves interpreting Qur'anic verses related to charity with the help of major Tafsir works, such as Tafsir Ibn Kathir and Tafsir Jalalayn, to understand the contextual meanings. Charity is divided into two main categories: obligatory charity (sedekah wajib) and voluntary charity (sedekah sunnah). Obligatory charity includes zakat, kafarat, and nazar, while voluntary charity consists of ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah) and regular charity. The findings indicate that charity has significant benefits, both for improving social conditions and for earning immense rewards from Allah SWT. From the Qur'anic perspective, charity is not only meant to help others but also serves as a means to purify one's wealth and increase one's piety. Charity is a primary means of drawing closer to Allah SWT. Through charity, individuals not only open the doors to provision but also gain various social and spiritual benefits. Therefore, this practice is highly recommended in Islam and should be done with sincere intention and without seeking praise from others. The rewards promised by Allah SWT for those who give charity sincerely will continue to flow, even after their death.

Abstract

Di era digital saat ini, media sosial menjadi wadah utama dalam berkomunikasi, namun sering kali etika dalam berkomunikasi diabaikan. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah sosial, seperti menurunnya interaksi sosial langsung, meningkatnya perilaku acuh tak acuh, dan kritik atau hujatan yang berlebihan Jika etika komunikasi tidak diterapkan dengan baik, makna pesan bisa berbeda dari maksud pengirimnya, menimbulkan kesalahpahaman.Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, pentingnya literasi digital dan edukasi etika sangat diperlukan. Penyelesaian masalah juga mencakup peningkatan pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai budaya dan agama, serta penggunaan algoritma media sosial yang mendukung konten positif. Dengan demikian, diharapkan remaja dapat berkomunikasi dengan lebih baik dan bertanggung jawab di media sosial. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber referensi digital/online dalam bentuk jurnal dan artikel yang berkaitan dan sesuai dengan topik penelitian. Data tersebut kemudian diolah dan dianalisis secara hermeneutika untuk mendapatkan hasil yang relevan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah  komunikasi yang memberikan dampak melalui media sosial yang berlandaskan kebenaran dan nilai-nilai moralitas dalam perspektif Islam agar tetap kondusifitas tetap terjaga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendidikan akhlak anak kepada orang tua dalam perspektif Al-Quran. Pendidikan akhlak merupakan bagian integral dari pembentukan karakter dan perilaku yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Al-Quran, sebagai sumber utama ajaran Islam, memberikan panduan yang komprehensif mengenai hubungan antara anak dan orang tua, termasuk bagaimana anak harus berperilaku terhadap orang tua mereka. Studi ini menggunakan metode analisis-deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan yang di dalamnya memuat analisa terhadap problematika pendidikan anak, orang tua serta konsep pendidikan anak yang terkandung dalam al-Quran dan Hadist. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Al-Quran menekankan pentingnya sikap hormat, kasih sayang, dan bakti kepada orang tua, serta memperingatkan tentang bahaya durhaka kepada orang tua. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya mendidik anak sejak dini tentang nilai-nilai moral dan etika yang diajarkan dalam Islam, agar mereka dapat tumbuh menjadi individu yang berakhlak mulia dan bertanggung jawab. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pendidikan akhlak anak kepada orang tua dalam perspektif Al-Quran merupakan aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh setiap keluarga Muslim dalam membentuk generasi yang berakhlak mulia dan berbakti kepada orang tua.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of moral education for women, based on the teachings of Surah An-Nur, verse 31 in the Qur'an. The study aims to understand how Islamic education emphasizes moral cultivation as a guide for women, particularly in maintaining dignity and ethical conduct. Moral education in Islam focuses not only on personal aspects but also on social responsibility, aiming to develop women’s character with strong faith, piety, and moral integrity. This research employs a library study method with content analysis to explore relevant literature. The findings indicate that teachings on controlling one’s gaze, covering one’s body, and dressing modestly are fundamental in preserving women’s dignity. Moral education serves not only as a behavioral guide but also as a means of building a positive character that adapts to social changes.Overall, moral education for women in Islam is a comprehensive, continuous process. It aims to shape women who not only embody religious values but also contribute positively to society. This study offers insights into how moral education plays an essential role in strengthening the identity of Muslim women and supporting the creation of a more harmonious society.

Abstract

The low critical thinking skills of students in Indonesia are a serious problem, characterized by minimal active participation in discussions, lack of analytical skills, and low learning motivation. This study aimed to analyze self-efficacy's role in shaping students' critical thinking skills through self-regulation and academic motivation as mediators. This study involved 384 randomly recruited from 63,556 students at one of the universities in Madura. The research instruments used were the critical thinking scale (α = 0.85), self-regulation scale (α = 0.82), academic motivation scale (α = 0.86), and self-efficacy scale (α = 0.88). All scales have met psychometric requirements and have been validated using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that self-regulation and academic motivation positively affect self-efficacy, which then becomes a mediator in improving students' critical thinking skills. This study emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach in Higher Education to develop critical thinking skills by strengthening students' internal factors. Implications for further research will be discussed.

Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of teacher competency from an Islamic perspective and the Minister of National Education Regulation. Teachers have a central role in education. Teacher competency is very important to achieve national education goals. Teacher competency covers many aspects, including knowledge, skills and behavior that teachers must possess, internalize and master in carrying out their professional duties. This research highlights that the low level of teacher professionalism is due to a lack of teacher competence. The method used in this research is the library method, namely a research method whose data sources come from books, scientific articles, journals, or other research results related to the problem topic. Thus, this research aims to determine teacher competency which causes low teacher professionalism

Abstract

Pendidikan agama Islam memainkan peran penting dalam upaya penanggulangan radikalisasi, khususnya di masyarakat mayoritas Muslim. Artikel ini meneliti peran dan efektivitas pendidikan agama Islam dalam merespons fenomena radikalisasi yang semakin mengkhawatirkan. Melalui kajian literatur dan analisis masalah di lapangan, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi strategi dan pendekatan yang efektif dalam membangun pemahaman Islam yang damai dan toleran. Pendidikan agama Islam dapat menjadi alat yang efektif untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai inklusif dan mengurangi risiko radikalisasi dengan mengajarkan prinsip-prinsip Islam yang mengedepankan perdamaian dan toleransi. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi praktisi pendidikan, pembuat kebijakan, dan peneliti untuk mengembangkan pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif dalam menjaga ketahanan masyarakat terhadap radikalisasi. Dengan mempromosikan pendidikan agama secara benar dan inklusif, harapannya masyarakat lebih dapat menjadi toleran dan terbebas dari ancaman radikalisme. Penelitian ini menawarkan rekomendasi praktis untuk implementasi pendidikan agama Islam yang efektif dalam konteks pencegahan radikalisasi, serta menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan, pemerintah, dan komunitas dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan harmonis.
