Abstract

Language is not only a set of languages, but also serves a social function. Sapir in Lyons (1982: 3) says that language is used by humans to communicate, express emotions and desires through various symbols. While Wardhaugh added that language is an arbitrary system which basically has a function as a tool for communicating. This study aims to determine code mixing in the novel language. This type of research method used is qualitative research. The method used is descriptive method, which is a research method that describes data starting from the data collection stage, data compilation, accompanied by data analysis and interpretation. In this study, the type of data analyzed using written data. The data source in this study is a novel entitled Negeri Lima Menara by A. Fuadi. Data was collected by examining data from data sources using the basic method of observation, namely by observing the form of code mixing contained in the novel in the form of sentences and followed by the method of recording data from previously observed data. Then the researcher analyzes the form of code mixing contained in the novel and concludes the results obtained. Based on the results of the analysis of the collected data, it was concluded that the incident of mixing the Minang language code into Indonesian, Javanese into Surabaya dialect into Indonesian, Sundanese into Indonesian, Arabic into Indonesian, and English into Indonesian. The sociolinguistic meaning contained in the Negeri Lima Menara novel is the meaning of intimacy and is related to kinship culture in communicating in a multilingual society which is often used in communicating within family, friends, and Islamic boarding schools. Abstract

Digital marketing refers to promotional activities and market research conducted through online digital platforms, utilizing various tools such as social media. In today's interconnected world, the internet not only connects people to devices but also facilitates connections between individuals around the world. Small and medium enterprises (UMKM), in particular, are expected to drive economic growth in communities that have superior products in their region. By adopting Digital marketing strategies, UMKM can open up opportunities to grow and become major economic players. UMKM practitioners combine digital promotion and distribution channels to maximize profits. This approach is in line with the concept of utilizing technology to enhance marketing efforts, which ultimately benefits UMKM and allows them to thrive in the digital era.. Today, almost all small and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM), as well as restaurants and fast food businesses, rely heavily on Digital marketing for their promotion and distribution efforts. Interestingly, some businesses that initially relied on offline strategies have gradually regressed. Among the UMKM sector, the food industry is very popular and has become a means for the main income of the home industry in Kalibening Village, Kebumen Regency by utilizing the local superior product yam into various kinds of preparations. UMKM businesses continue to strive to survive by implementing various strategies, including increased promotion and offering ease of purchase. These efforts demonstrate optimization in the resilience of UMKM businesses.

Abstract

The ability to improve learning outcomes for students by going through the process to achieve satisfactory results can arouse students' enthusiasm and confidence in understanding the material to improve their learning outcomes. With the existence of new ways to improve student learning outcomes, one of which is using the Group Investigation type cooperative method, it can make students more enthusiastic, creative and there is social value, namely in this cooperative learning, students are also able to work together in small groups, there is positive dependence (mutual need), mutual assistance, and mutual motivation in order to achieve the desired goals and results. Researchers conducted this study to determine whether or not there was an increase in Group Investigation Type Cooperative Learning for Student Learning Outcomes. The data from this study were collected using a learning achievement test. While the analysis uses descriptive analysis. After all the data were analyzed, it was found that the increase in learning outcomes from the beginning reached 65.80 with a learning completeness of 53.27 in cycle I. The results of cycle II on average increased to 75.63 with a learning completeness of 73.61 and in cycle III increased again to 85.47 learning completeness 88.30 It turns out that the results in cycle III have exceeded the proposed criteria according to the research success indicators. This is evidenced from data collection about student learning outcomes included in the good category through 3 cycles. On the basis of the data obtained, the researcher concluded that the application of the Group Investigation Type Cooperative Method was able to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Writing skills are one of the essential skills needed by seventh-grade students in the subject of Indonesian Language. One of the Indonesian language subjects is writing short stories. One way to improve short story writing skills is through various methods, one of which we can use is the field trip method. In this study, field visits were conducted in two cycles with four stages each, namely (1) activity planning; (2) activity implementation; (3) activity observation; and (4) activity reflection. Each seventh-grade student of PKBM Darul Hikam SMP in Kuwarasan Kebumen is a subject of the research. With the help of the Indonesian language teacher, this research was conducted. Interview techniques, documentation, observation, and evaluation or tests are the data collection methods used. The action hypothesis, "In the learning of Indonesian Language and Literature, if the research travel method is used, the learning activities of the 7th-grade students of PKBM Darul Hikam Kuwarasan Kebumen SMP will improve," can be accepted based on the research analysis results. The field visit method can improve students' learning outcomes in addition to enhancing their learning activities

Abstract

ABSTRACT Disasters are events that threaten people's lives and can cause loss of life, property, as well as environmental and psychological impacts. Landslides, as one of the natural disasters, occur due to slope instability triggered by geological and hydrological factors. Ngargosari Village, Kecamatan Loano, Purworejo Regency, has a geographical condition of steep hills with an altitude of ±450 meters above sea level which makes it prone to landslides. This research aims to increase community resilience to landslides through a community-based mitigation approach and appropriate technology in the KOSABANGSA program. The method used includes preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Mitigation activities include socialization, geological survey, vulnerability mapping, installation of early warning system (EWS), evacuation signs, preparation of evacuation fixed procedures, and implementation of evacuation simulation. Evaluation results show an increase in physical resilience through the availability of evacuation routes and EWS that function in real-time. The community's capacity resilience also increased, as shown by the average score of disaster understanding at 78% and infrastructure understanding at 86%. EWS implementation and participatory education proved effective in improving community preparedness. A collaborative approach between academics, village government, and residents is a key factor in building a resilient and sustainable mitigation system

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis komik strip yang layak, mudah dalam penggunaan, kejelasan pesan, dan kemenarikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini merupakan media pembelajaran berbasis komik strip pada mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas X. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli isi atau materi, ahli media, dan kelompok peserta didik. Seluruh data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan instrumen berupa tes. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis komik strip ini dapat dikatakan “layak” untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di MAN 2 Kebumen pada mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Berdasarkan validasi : (1) Ahli isi atau materi pembelajaran mendapatkan prosentase rata-rata sebesar 100%, (2) Ahli media pembelajaran memperoleh prosentase rata-rata sebesar 77,30%, (3) Uji coba kelompok kecil untuk memberi respon terhadap produk yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik sebanyak 10 peserta didik memperoleh prosentase sebesar 82,8% dan uji coba kelompok besar yang dilakukan sebanyak 25 peserta didik memperoleh prosentase sebesar 85,04%.
