Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogis mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika dengan cara memberikan pendampingan kepada mahasiswa calon guru dalam pengembangan media dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode penelitiannya yaitu penelitian tindakan dengan meliputi empat tahap yaitu analisis pra penelitian, refleksi, persiapan dan pelaksanaan tindakan, serta evaluasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi kelayakan media oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan praktisi pendidikan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun 2019/2020 dengan sampel penelitian mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika sebanyak 15 orang yang memiliki keahlian dalam mengoperasikan komputer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: kegiatan pendampingan sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi khususnya penggunaan mobile learning. Berdasarkan pada penilaian dua kelompok ahli (media, materi) dan praktisi pendidikan maka dalam penelitian ini dihasilkan sembilan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis mobile learning dengan kategori “LAYAK” sesuai dengan tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran. Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu perlu dilakukan pendampingan yang lebih luas yaitu bagi guru.Abstract: The purpose of this study is to enhance of mathematics undergraduate students’ pedagogic competency by providing assistance in the development of learning media in mathematics. The research method is action research which includes four stages: pre-research analysis, reflection, preparation and implementation of actions, and evaluation. The instrument is questionnaire of validation by media experts (content / material) and practitioner in education. The research was conducted in 2019/2020 with 15 students of mathematics education study program who have computer skills. The results shows that an assistance for undergraduate students is effective to improving their competences specially in pedagogy integrated to technology mobile learning. Based on expert judgments the nine learning media based smartphone in mathematics was produced in this study showed the "feasible" category. The implication of this research is needed to assistance widely, such as for teachers.

Abstract

Abstract: Pengembangan media digital tidak hanya menunjang proses pembelajaran tetapi juga membuat pembelajaran mengikuti perkembangan teknologi terkini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan komik digital berbasis STEM. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, evaluasi. Produk yang dikembangkan adalah komik digital berbasis STEM pada materi pola bilangan. Hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa produk komik digital berbasis STEM ini valid dan layak digunakan. Penggunaan komik digital berbasis STEM dalam kegiatan pembelajaran memperkenalkan cara baru dan inovatif untuk mempelajari pola bilangan dan dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep dengan lebih efektif. Komik digital berbasis STEM ini juga mendapat respon positif dari siswa dengan kriteria layak. Abstrak: The development of digital media not only supports the learning process but also keeps up with the latest technological developments. This  study  aims  to  develop  a  STEM-based  digital comic.  This  study  is  a  type  of  development  research.  The  development  model  used  is  the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, namely, analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The product developed are STEM-based digital comic focusing on number patterns. The results of the validation of media and material experts indicate that this STEM-based digital comic product is valid and feasible to use. The use  of  STEM-based digital comic in  learning  activities  introduced a new and innovative way to learn number patterns and could help the students understand the concept more effectively.  This  STEM-based  digital comic also gets positive responses from students with feasible criteria.

Abstract

AbstractEthnomathematics is defined as the integration between a specific culture and mathematics. This research aims to develop teaching materials as a learning module on geometry building space integrated with Betawi culture. The research method is R&D with the Plomp model, which consists of five phases: preliminary investigation; design; construction/ realization; test, evaluation, and revision; also implementation. The subjects in this study consisted of three Lecturers of Mathematics Education at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, one junior high school teacher, and two high school teachers in the North Jakarta area. In addition, in this study, four junior high school students and four high school students were also involved as respondents in assessing the readability of the modules made.The results of assessments from experts show that the modules made are very feasible. The results of the students' responses to the learning module are included in the perfect category. So, it was concluded that the module could be used as additional material for teachers in teaching the geometry of flat buildings and building spaces using Betawi culture. Abstrak Etnomatematika merupakan integrasi antara budaya tertentu dengan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa modul pembelajaran geometri bangun ruang yang diintegrasikan dengan kebudayaan Betawi. Metode penelitiannya yaitu R&D dengan model Plomp yang terdiri dari lima fase, yaitu fase investigasi awal; desain; konstruksi/ realisasi; tes, evaluasi, dan revisi; serta implementasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga Dosen Pendidikan Matematika UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, satu orang guru SMP, dan dua guru SMA di wilayah Jakarta Utara. Selain itu, dalam penelitian ini dilibatkan juga empat orang siswa SMP dan empat orang siswa SMA sebagai responden dalam menilai keterbacaan modul yang telah dibuat. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian dari ahli menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dibuat  sangat layak. Adapun hasil respon peserta didik terhadap modul pembelajaran termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dibuat dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan tambahan bagi guru dalam mengajarkan geometri bangun datar dan bangun ruang dengan menggunakan budaya betawi.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the use of Google Classroom with Problem Based Learning model on students' mathematical representation abilities. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 17 Tangerang Selatan City in the 2021/2022 academic year. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method, the test instrument has given in the form of 6 test items for mathematical representation ability and student response questionnaires in learning mathematics by Google Classroom with Problem Based Learning model. The research instrument was given to 78 students as research subjects. The results of this study are: the use of Google Classroom in learning mathematics with the Problem Based Learning model can be implemented by utilizing the features available in Google Classroom. The mathematical representation ability of students who learn by using Google Classroom with Problem Based Learning model as a whole is in the medium category. The positive response of students who learn mathematics using Google Classroom with Problem Based Learning model cumulatively 73.89% is in the high category. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media Google Classroom dengan model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, instrumen tes yang diberikan berupa 6 butir soal tes kemampuan representasi matematis dan angket respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika menggunakan Google Classroom dengan Model Problem Based Learning. Instrumen penelitian diberikan kepada 78 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan Google Classroom dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan model Problem Based Learning dapat diimplementasikan dengan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur yang ada pada Google Classroom. Kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan media Google Classroom dengan model Problem Based Learning secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori sedang. Serta untuk respon positif siswa yang belajar matematika menggunakan Google Classroom dengan model Problem Based Learning secara kumulatif sebesar 73.89% berada pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

The low ability of algebraic thinking in solving math problems is still a problem. One of the causes is that many students still make mistakes when solving math problems. This study aims to describe the algebraic thinking ability of high school students, cognitive style of Field Independent (FI) and Field Dependent (FD) students, determine the relationship and the magnitude of the influence between algebraic thinking ability with cognitive style of students. This research was conducted at 38 Senior High School  Jakarta, 66 Senior High School Jakarta, and 97 Senior High School Jakarta in the 2023/2024 school year. This research is a quantitative descriptive research, the test instrument is 6 items of description of algebraic thinking ability and GEFT test instrument developed by Witkin. The results showed that students' algebraic thinking ability was in the moderate category. Of the 102 respondents, 59% of students have FI cognitive style about 41% of students have FD cognitive style. There is a significant difference that students with FI cognitive style better than students with FD cognitive style. There is an influence between the cognitive style of students on the ability to think algebraically by 16.70%.
