The aim of this research is to determine the possibility of applying classical music therapy to reduce signs and symptoms of auditory hallucinations using the single group pretest and posttest method of applying music therapy to reduce signs and symptoms of auditory hallucinations. The results of the application of EBP classical music therapy which was carried out for 3 days for 10-15 minutes on respondent I (Mr.A), the signs of hallucinations before music therapy were 12 (100%) after classical music therapy the symptoms decreased. hallucinations 3 (25%), Respondent II (Mr. K) had 12 (100%) signs of symptoms down to 4 (33%), Respondent III (Mrs. %). Abstract

Hypertension can lead to serious complications such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney damage. The prevalence of hypertension often goes undetected due to minimal symptoms, so many individuals are unaware of it. Early detection through routine blood pressure measurements and health education is important for risk identification and effective management of hypertension. Blood pressure checks and health education are important first steps in raising public health awareness. This activity aims to identify individual health conditions and provide the knowledge necessary to maintain optimal health. From the data obtained, 14% of participants showed symptoms of hypotension, 66% had normal blood pressure, and 20% already had hypertension. These results show the need for continuous efforts in blood pressure monitoring and health education to reduce the risk of blood pressure-related diseases. This service emphasizes the importance of early detection and increased public understanding of the importance of keeping blood pressure within the normal range to prevent further health complications.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is classified into a group of metabolic diseases with special characteristics of increased blood sugar levels or hyperglycemia, which is caused by abnormalities in insulin secretion or abnormalities in insulin work. Physical activity can also affect blood sugar levels, one of which is the type of physical exercise recommended for people with diabetes mellitus, walking. This research design is experimental in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. This research was carried out by providing physical activity intervention by walking 3 times a week for 20 minutes. Based on the application of EBP, the results obtained from 3 research respondents experienced a decrease in blood glucose levels every day with different differences. This can be proven that non-pharmacological therapy using walking physical activity is effective and can be used to reduce blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus sufferers. . It is hoped that the results of this research can provide insight to diabetes mellitus sufferers in efforts to manage diabetes mellitus with the physical activity of walking and can have implications for this.

Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus attacking the human immune system can cause AIDS. Increasing HIV cases and there is transmission in teenager caused by their ignorance about information in risky things. Efforts that can be done is to provide prevention education to teenager. This prevention can be done using ABCDE method (absence of sex, be faithful, condom, drug no/not use drugs, education). It is known different levels of pre and post teenager knowledge about risk prevention education of HIV transmission.Tthis research is a quantitative research and uses a pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design approach. Population in this research is ten grade totaling 524 studnts and sampling 45 respondents. Sampling uses non probability aksidental sampling technique. Education is given through animated videos. Data is analyzed using wilcoxon sign test. The result of this research is majority of respondents aged 16 years totalling 25 (58.1%). Majority of gender is 24 (55.8%) female. Statistical analysis result of wilcoxon sign test is got by p-value of 0.001 (<0.05), so that it can be interpreted that there is different levels of pre and post teenager knowledge about risk prevention education of HIV transmission. This research is expected to give resources about risk prevention of HIV transmission in students and can give motivation to the school in school facilities that can increase knowledge about health.

Abstract

Non-hemorrhagic stroke is a frequent case of stroke caused by blockage of blood vessels and the accumulation of changeable and unchangeable risk factors. The impact of stroke is a long-term physical and functional disorder that affects the life quality of the patient and the family. The aim of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the occurrence of non-hemorrhagic stroke. This study is an observational analytic epidemiological study with case control research design conducted in 2 private hospitals. The samples were selected sequentially with a ratio of 1: 2 (case: control) consisting of 50 patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke and 100 patients without non-hemorrhagic stroke. The data was analyzed by univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis method by using binary logistic regression. The results of risk factor analysis which were independently associated were Total Blood Cholesterol, History of Hypertension, Systolic Blood Pressure, Diastolic Blood Pressure, and Cardiac Examination. The multivariate analysis showed that the risk factors affecting non hemorrhagic stroke were History of Hypertension (OR: 6,476, p = 0.000, 95% CI: 2,338-17,935), Total Blood Cholesterol Level ≥200 mg/dl (OR: 6,139, p = 0.000, 95% CI: 2,334-16,148), Education Level (OR: 0,311, p = 0.009, 95% CI: 0,129-0,747), Gender (OR: 0.379, p = 0.022, 95% CI: 0.165-0.871 ), and Obesity (OR: 2,217, p = 0.080, 95% CI: 0.910-5.401). As a conclusion, there were 5 variables of risk factors that influence to Non Hemorrhagic Stroke. If those variables of risk factors were exist in the respondent, the risk of a non hemorrhagic Stroke reached 81.6%. It was suggested that the patients made an effort on preventions by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and controlling risk factors affecting the occurrence of non-hemorrhagic stroke.

Abstract

Children are individuals who are still very innocent and have not been able to distinguish between the words of parents or sexual harassment. Considering that many cases of sexual harassment are committed by people closest to the child who should be the protector of the child. The family is the school or the initial foundation of a child, therefore sexual education should be given by the family to the child since the child has begun to be able to speak or since toddler age. But in reality there are still many children who don't even know the names of their body parts, which body parts can and cannot be held by others. This service aims to provide an understanding to children about the names of their body parts including the names of their genitals and provide an understanding of body parts that can and cannot be held by others, and what to do when someone else will hold their private area. This educational activity begins with planning, implementing activities and evaluation. Based on the results of the activity, it was found that after the educational activities were carried out, children understood which areas of the body could and could not be held by others and ran to ask for help from others when someone would hold their private areas.

Abstract

Sectio caesarea is a surgical operation to help pregnant women give birth by making an incision in the abdominal wall (laparotomy) and uterus (hysterectomy). Non-pharmacology can be used together to relieve pain. Within 24 hours after a cesarean section, patients can feel a five-fold reduction in pain thanks to lavender aromatherapy. linalyl acetate, and linalool, which can have a calming effect. When lavender aromatherapy is inhaled, the compounds it contains trigger the hypothalamus to produce endorphins that can calm and soothe. the purpose of this study was to determine whether lavender aromatherapy can reduce the pain scale of post-Sectio Caesarea patients. This type of research is a one-shot case study, design with the application of Evidence Based Practice with 4 respondents. The intervention was carried out once a day for 2 consecutive days with a duration of 15 minutes. The results of this study showed a decrease in pain scores in the range of 2-0, so it can be concluded that the intervention of providing lavender aromatherapy can reduce the pain scale of post-Caesarean section patients. For post caesarean section patients they can apply lavender aromatherapy in pain management efforts.
