Abstract

Dewasa ini, banyak aspek mengalami perubahan dengan berkembangnya teknologi dan infomasi di era globalisasi. Sebut saja media sosial yang banyak digunakan oleh populasi manusia di bumi. Menurut Caleb T. Carr dan Rebecca T. Hayes, media sosial adalah media berbasis internet yang memungkinkan pengguna berkesempatan untuk berinteraksi dan mempresentasikan diri, baik secara seketika ataupun tertunda, dengan khalayak luas maupun tidak yang mendorong nilai dari user-generated content dan persepsi interaksi dengan orang lain. Berdasarkan survei Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia (APJII), pada tahun 2018 tercatat pengguna internet di Indonesia sebanyak 171,17 juta jiwa dari penduduk 264 juta jiwa atau sekitar 64,8 % dari seluruh penduduk Indonesia. Banyak perusahan sudah mulai menggunakan media sosial dalam hal marketing dan promosi ke khalayak luas. Pihak perusahaan menugas karyawan yang melek teknologi atau istilah zaman sekarang dikenal dengan generasi milenial. Generasi milenial dikenal kedekatannya dengan teknologi. Tercatat penetrasi pengguna internet generasi milenial 79,6%. Perusahaan membutuhkan sumber daya manusia atau karyawan yang mampu bekerja secara maksimal sehingga dapat mengimbangi standar yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitan kualitatif yang bersifat lapangan (field research). Jenis data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif yakni berupa pemikiran, pendapat dan argumentasi dari karyawan PT Perkebunan Nusantara VI Kayu Aro, serta dilengkapi dengan data-data buku, jurnal, dan artikel. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang penulis gunakan analisis domain, analisis taksonomi, dan analisis komponensial. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa karyawan generasi milenial PT Perkebunan Nusantara VI Kayu Aro mampu memanfaatkan media sosial dalam bekerja, dengan media sosial produktivitas generasi milenial bisa menjadi meningkat.

Abstract

The sophistication of technology that continues to develop can have a positive and negative impact on children's development. Parents in facilitating the development of children have a very large influence and are responsible in providing guidance, asuhan and educating. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of parents in the emotional and social development of children in the digital era. The research method used is qualitative with the type of literature review research. The results of the research show that the role of parents in the emotional and social development of children is needed. There are several tasks of parents in the emotional and social development of children. First, understands that parenting is an obligation and need. Secondly, well-established communication between parents and children. Third, parents play a role in socializing and providing social skills to children. Fourth, parents can provide non-formal education to the child conducted in the family before the child enters a formal institution. The application of democratic parenting patterns can be used to educate children in the digital era. This is in line with his form of parenting that does not coerce, punish, or curb the child.

Abstract

Ikonisitas hijab telah menjadi identitas yang merujuk kepada diri seorang perempuan muslim. tulisan ini mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis melalui studi empiris tentang praktik penggunaan hijab di kalangan non-muslim di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah field research. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMKN 1 Kerinci merupakan SMK negeri yang mayoritas siswanya beragama Islam, dari 622 siswa hanya 14 orang siswa yang beragama non Islam seperti Budha, Konghucu, Kristen Protestan dan Kristen Katholik, dari 14 siswa tersebut terdapat 8 orang siswa perempuan yang beragama non Islam namun fenomena yang ditemukan adalah mereka menggunakan hijab baik di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah. Salah satu bentuk respons yang menarik adalah ketika guru merespons dengan membelikan hijab bagi siswa non-Muslim yang memutuskan untuk berhijab. Tindakan ini menunjukkan sikap empati dan dukungan dari pihak sekolah terhadap kebebasan berpakaian siswa. Proaktif dalam memfasilitasi dialog interreligius, sekolah dapat menjadi agen pembentukan pemahaman yang lebih baik dan meredakan potensi konflik di lingkungan pendidikan yang inklusif.

Abstract

Islamic Religious College (PTKI) is a preventive medium in realizing a religious moderation program in which this program is presently carrying an inclusive mission to eradicate the chain of extremism in various lines of religious life. The mainstreaming of religious moderation continues to develop, as evidenced by the incessant movement of universities to implement it. Likewise, IAIN Kerinci, a campus with Islamic nuances in Jambi Province, has also become a pioneer of religious moderation. Various activities that carry the spirit of religious moderation that are often carried out in the Islamic Religious Education department at IAIN Kerinci are a form of real contribution that has been carried out. This study aims to see how far the PAI majors of IAIN Kerinci are in implementing religious moderation programs in the academic community. For this reason, in finding answers, researchers use the field research method, namely field research, to obtain data and information. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the PAI department initiated a religious moderation program that started from the literacy ground and then began to touch on various academic activities.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendalaman yang mendalam terkait ayat al-Quran yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan karakter perspektif al-Qur’an. Fenomena yang ditemukan lapangan menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik masih minus akhlak di lingkungan sekolah maupun masyarakat, seperti intoleran, pengeroyokan, pelecehan seksual bahkan tindakan radikalisme. Seperti aksi intoleran terjadi di 10 sekolah negeri Jakarta, kemudian pengeroyokan yang dilakukan oleh 9 teman BT, membuat BT meninggal dunia. Kasus ujaran kebencian dilakukan oleh dua orang siswi yang berseragam putih abu-abu SMKN 1 Kota Banjar yang melampiaskan kekesalannya beredar di media sosial. Kasus yang mengerikan juga terjadi di Cibiru, Kota Bandung, Jawab Barat. Pendidikan karakter merupakan upaya penanaman kecerdasan dalam berpikir, penghayatan dalam bentuk sikap, dan pengamalan dalam bentuk perilaku yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai luhur yang menjadi jati dirinya. Diwujudkan dalam interaksi dengan Tuhannya, diri sendiri, antarsesama, dan lingkungannya. Dalam artikel ini penulis hanya mengangkat empat nilai karakter dai 18 nilai karakter tersebut, yakni toleansi, religius, cinta damai, dan sahabat/komunikatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian library research. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan redaksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter dikaitkan dengan al-Quran terdapat di dalam Q.S. al-Baqarah: 256 mengenai toleransi, Q.S. an-Nur: 30 tentang menjaga nilai religius, Q.S al-A’raf: 33 mengisyaratkan tentang cinta damai dan Q.S. ali-Imran: 159 tentang bersahabat dan komunikatif.

Abstract

The quality of education is closely related to the curriculum that is implemented. Due to the consequences of changes in political, social, cultural, economic and technological systems, the curriculum also undergoes changes. Since Indonesia’s independence in 1945, the country has developed and been implementing its own school curriculum starting in 1947, 1952, 1964, 1968, 1975, 1984, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2006, and 2013. This study aims to analyze the dynamics and implications of curriculum changes in Islamic education and to examine its existence in the globalization of education. The research method used a library research approach with data analysis techniques including data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results show that Islamic education has been implemented since the independence era, albeit influenced by the Dutch at that time. After the era of independence and reformation, the changes in curriculum resulted in the government giving special attention to Islamic Religious Education (called as PAI), which was demonstrated by the establishment of Islamic institutions called “madrasa” and Islamic universities. Indonesia’s experience in various curriculum models is a strength in exploring the potential of Islamic education to adapt to the discourse of global education. Moreover, Islamic education in Indonesia has the opportunity to become a world leader. To achieve this, efforts are needed to strengthen the Islamic education system and its curriculum, expand access to information and communication technology, improve the quality of teachers and researchers through increasing academic qualifications, and build international cooperation with other countries in the form of curriculum development and scholarships for foreign students who want to study PAI.

Abstract

The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in digital technology is seen as a symbol of progress, convenience, and intelligence, but also perceived by some as a source of concern, anxiety, and fear. However, AI can be optimized to support human tasks, including developing learning media for Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Many AI tools are freely accessible, making them highly potential educational resources. This study aims to explore the potential of AI as a tool for developing learning media in the context of Islamic education. This research employs a library research approach, analyzing data through data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal several AI-based tools suitable for developing learning media, including Google Sites, Quizizz, ChatGPT, and DALL-E 2. Google Sites can be used to create customizable, user-friendly educational websites. Quizizz is an interactive quiz platform, featuring real-time scoring and engagement tools. ChatGPT functions as a medium for brainstorming, providing feedback, and enhancing student learning, though its use requires proper guidance to avoid misuse. Lastly, DALL-E 2 can generate visual content based on textual descriptions. These four tools can be integrated within a single platform—Google Sites—to create a cohesive and interactive learning experience.

Abstract

This article aims to highlight the role and struggles of KH Idham Chalid during the New Order era in Indonesia. This article employs a qualitative research method with a historical approach consisting of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Primary data sources were obtained from historical books, including Ahmad Barjie entitled “Dr. K.H. Idham Chalid Ulama Politisi Banjar di Kancah Nasional,” Arief Mudatsir Mandan with the title “Napak Tilas Pengabdian Idham Chalid: Tanggung Jawab Politik NU dalam Sejarah,” and Abdul Rahman Jaferi Rahmadi and Ahmad with the title “Elite Muslim Banjar di Tingkat Nasional.” Secondary data was obtained from scientific articles, books, and other relevant literature related to the research topic. The data analysis techniques used were data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study found that the role and struggle of KH Idham Chalid during the New Order era can be categorised into two categories. First, he fought within the New Order government. President Soeharto trusted KH Idham Chalid to hold strategic positions. One of them was to succeed the Family Planning (KB) programme. Second, he fought outside the New Order government through the education sector by establishing Darul Ma’arif in Cipete, South Jakarta, and Darul Qur’an in Cisarua, Bogor. KH Idham Chalid also frequently held religious study sessions that were widely attended by the public and played a role in the establishment of the Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNNU) in Bandung, which later evolved into the Nusantara Islamic University (UNINUS). Exploring the history of the educational institutions established by KH Idham Chalid could serve as a valuable subject for further research.
