Abstract

The research is based on the urgency of Indonesian learning in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. In the covid-19 pandemic, some strenuous effort is needed to prevent or stop the virus spread. One action in dealing with the covid-19 pandemic situation is Learning from Home. One application that is used in Learning from Home is Google Form. This study aimed to determine the implementation of Learning from Home using Google Form application toward online learning assessment. The research used Pre- experimental design methods One Shoot Case Study type with grade 3 students of Cimahi City Elementary School as the research subject. The result showed that Learning from Home with google form application has the fluctuation in assessment result based on a theme with the same material delivery technic. This result means that variations of media are needed to increase learning online results.

Abstract

There are several problems in reading. Based on findings in the field in several elementary schools, it turns out that the learning methods created by teachers in teaching reading have not been able to encourage children to want to read. This is because the method of learning to read is less interesting in reading so that children have trouble in reading. This research is qualitative research, namely research to describe the problem and research focus. This research aims to determine the use of students' use of the Digital Scratch media learning model in improving beginning reading skills in lower grades. Meanwhile, the data collection technique is triangulated as a data collection technique that combines various existing data collection techniques and data sources, namely through interviews, observation, and documentation so that the answers to problems are clear and detailed. The sample in this research were students in class I and II (low class). Based on the research results, it was concluded that the Scratch digital media learning model can reach the initial reading proficiency level from the initial reading level to the initial reading proficiency level.

Abstract

Membaca pemahaman merupakan aspek penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Melalui pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa didik diasah kemampuannya untuk mengambil makna atau gagasan dari sebuah bacaan. Laporan dari beberapa lembaga pemerhati pendidikan menunjukan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada siswa sekolah dasar masih rendah. Pada masa pandemi, ditengah tantangan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman, pembelajaran terpaksa dilakukan secara daring sebagai bentuk kepatuhan terhadap himbauan pemerintah guna memperlambat penyebaran virus Covid-19. Beberapa hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh positif dan manfaat dari penggunaan aplikasi pada proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan aplikasi dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran yang menarik bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi implementasi pembelajaran daring melalui aplikasi Zoom Cloud Meetings dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode ekploratif dengan teknik analisis kualitatif. Pemilihan penggunaan metode penelitian eksploratif dengan teknik analisis kualitatif dikarenakan peneliti ingin menggali secara luas kebenaran, menemukan suatu fenomena atau kecenderungan, dan menguak kemungkinan adanya berbagai temuan tentang implementasi pembelajaran daring terhadap pembelajaran membaca pemahaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebagian besar responden memberikan pendapat yang positif tentang implementasi pembelajaran membaca pemahaman secara daring. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan riset-riset selanjutnya, dan untuk memberikan masukan bagaimana mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan aplikasi guna meningkatan kemampuan belajar membaca pemahaman.

Abstract

Society must be able to adapt in various ways due to the rapid progress of science and technology in the era of globalization. One of the components is education, which is fundamental for the progress of a country. Science process skills are skills for developing the perspective needed to build natural science. This research was conducted to see whether science process skills improved after applying the STEM learning model to environmental conservation business materials, in class V students at SDN 1 Ciledug located in the city of West Bandung. This research was carried out by designing a pretest-posttest group and using a science process skills test, based on the indicators that had been designed. Data analysis to determine differences in perceptions regarding improving students' science process skills, before and after implementing the STEM learning model. The results of data analysis show that science process abilities have increased on the topic of environmental conservation efforts with the application of the STEM learning model. The resulting score with the average value of science process skills increased from application of 40.51 to 85.11. This improvement in skills can be seen from the N-Gain result value of 0.75 which is in the high classification. Thus, the research results that have been presented suggest that teachers can use the STEM learning model as an alternative in science subjects, especially to improve science process skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in understanding of the concept of force and motion in class IV elementary school students in learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The research subjects were 30 class IV students at SDN Sirnagalih in Ngamprah District, West Bandung Regency. Data was obtained by giving pretest and posttest questions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has succeeded in improving the ability to understand concepts in fourth grade elementary school students. This is proven by the average N-Gain value obtained at 0.78 with high criteria. This means that the level of effectiveness of using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in increasing fourth grade elementary school students' understanding of concepts in force and motion material has a high level of effectiveness.
