Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of behavioristic learning theory in the context of 21st-century basic education in Indonesia. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to understand how behavioristic principles can be integrated into modern teaching practice from 10 reputable journals (Scopus and Sinta), the research stages included planning, conducting, and reporting. Research result in this study suggests that the implementation of behavioristic theory requires a good classroom environment and the use of reward and punishment schemes to shape student behavior. Teachers are expected to be actively involved in the learning process, provide constructive criticism, and conduct an initial analysis of students' ability to design appropriate lesson plans. This research offers novelty in integrating behavioristic theory into modern basic education in Indonesia and makes practical contributions for teachers and implications for the education system to achieve national education goals. This research supports developing quality and sustainable human resources towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi telah menjadikan media sosial sebagai bagian tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan sehari-hari. Platform seperti Facebook, Instagram, dan Twitter memungkinkan miliaran orang untuk terhubung dan berbagi informasi, termasuk pandangan dan praktik keagamaan. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi peran media sosial dalam mempengaruhi moderasi beragama, khususnya dalam konteks masyarakat Desa Medang Baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial berperan penting dalam menyebarkan pesan-pesan moderasi beragama dan toleransi, namun juga memiliki potensi menyebarkan radikalisme dan disinformasi yang dapat memicu polarisasi sosial. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan yang bijak dalam penggunaan media sosial diperlukan untuk mendukung dialog antaragama yang konstruktif dan memperkuat kerukunan masyarakat. Media sosial dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam mempromosikan toleransi dan kerukunan antarumat beragama jika digunakan dengan tepat dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Kinerja adalah seluruh hasil kerja seseorang selama periode tertentu dalam melaksanakan tugas sesuai standar yang telah ditetapkan. Kinerja dipengaruhi banyak faktor, seperti motivasi instrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik, dan produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi instrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik, dan produktivitas terhadap kinerja ASN badan kepegawaian dan pengembangan SDM Kota Medan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian korelasional jenis desain analisis jalur. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 9.968 orang, sampel diambil secara proporsional menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kredibiltas (10%). Sehingga sampel diperoleh sebanyak 101 orang. Instrumen penelitian adalah angket dengan desain Skala Likert menggunakan alternatif jawaban (1-5). Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus Regresi Linear Berganda dan analisis jalur yang dianalisis menggunakan SPSS Versi 21.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Ada pengaruh langsung motivasi instrinsik terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,660; 2) Ada pengaruh langsung motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,018; 3) Ada pengaruh langsung produktivitas terhadap kinerja kinerja sebesar 0,148; 4) Ada pengaruh motivasi instrinsik terhadap kinerja melalui variabel moderator produktivitas sebesar 0,328 x 0,148 = 0,048; 5) Ada pengaruh motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja melalui variabel moderator produktivitas sebesar 0,303 x 0,148 = 0,044; 6) Total pengaruh motivasi instrinsik, motivasi ektrinsik, dan produktivitas terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,758. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi instrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik, dan produktivitas berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja kinerja ASN Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumberdaya Manusia Kota Medan.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop a module with the Science, Environment, Technology and Society (SETS) approach to train critical thinking skills on hydrocarbons and petroleum using the Research and Development (R and D) method. This development modul was validated by 3 experts, while the limited trial was only limited to a small trial with 3 respondents from class XII students of SMAN 10 Surabaya to obtain practical and effective data of modules that developed on a small scale. This experiment obtained expert validation results 87% with the “very valid” category, module practicality 94% with the “very practical” category and module effectiveness of 0.8 with the “high” category. The effectiveness of the module is obtained from the pretest and posttest that 3 students have increased their critical thinking skills after the module is given. Based on this study, it can be concluded that the module with the SETS approach in the material of hydrocarbons and petroleum can train students’ critical thinking skills and it is feasible to be tested on larger respondents.

Abstract

Critical thinking is essential for preparing students to face global challenges in the 21st century. The Ethno-STEM based learning that integrates traditional knowledge with modern science offers great potential for improving students' understanding of scientific concepts in a contextual and relevant way. This study aims to examine the application of an Ethno-STEM based learning to improve critical thinking skills in primary school. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 1 school principal, 10 teachers, and 20 students from Sumberwangi Elementary School in Bojonegoro Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires to understand teachers' and students' experiences regarding learning in class and the implementation of Ethno-STEM learning. The results indicate that although teachers recognize the importance of using technology in education, challenges such as lack of facilities, teacher training, and Ethno-STEM application knowledge persist. The study found that learning based on local wisdom enhances students' understanding of science but requires continuous teacher training and the provision of adequate technological resources. The study recommends further integrating technology, local wisdom, and STEM to create more interactive and effective learning, ultimately developing students' critical thinking skills.
