Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas layanan administrasi dari staf Jurusan Kemaritiman terhadap taruna/I khususnya selama masa pandemi Covid-19 ini, dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa dimensi kualitas layanan yang terdiri dari reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy dan tangible masing-masing berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan taruna/I Jurusan Kemaritiman, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa meskipun sedang mengalami masa pandemi, tetapi kualitas layanan yang diterima tetap dapat memuaskan taruna/I Jurusan Kemaritiman.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jurusan Kemaritiman pada Program Studi Nautika, Teknika dan KPNK dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 85 orang.  Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang berisikan indikator dimensi kualitas layanan dan kepuasan pelanggan dengan skala likert. Analisis data menggunakan menggunakan metode SEM dengan software Partial Least Square (PLS).

Abstract

This community service aims to provide occupational safety training (K3) to fishermen in Muara Pantuan Village, Anggana District. Based on the observations, it was found that fishermen do not understand and aware of the implementation of K3 when carrying out their activities. Based on this condition, it can pose a risk that endangers the lives of the fishermen. The activity was carried out on 8-9 July 2021 through the training and demonstrations on the use of safety equipment from the community service teams. In addition, community service teams also provided assistance in the form of safety jackets that can be used during fishing activities at sea. Through this Community Service (PkM), fishermen will be aware of the importance of using K3 tools, especially during activities at sea.

Abstract

Upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan pada bidang transportasi khususnya transportasi laut terus diupayakan berbagai stakeholder, akan tetapi dibutuhkan berbagai strategi untuk mencapai hal tersebut, melalui peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia, peningkatan sarana dan prasarana maupun pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui kualitas pelayanan yang sesungguhnya yaitu dengan melibatkan pengguna layanan itu sendiri atau dengan kata lain melihat pelayanan dari sudut pandang penumpang, maka metode mystery passenger atau penumpang rahasia dianggap mampu melakukan hal tersebut, artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang berasal dari kegiatan mystery passenger atau evaluasi secara rahasia menggunakan orang yang berperan sebagai penumpang Kapal Motor Adithya, kemudian diolah melalui teknik reduksi, display dan verifikasi menggunakan dimensi tangible, realibilty, responsiveness, assurance dan empathy yang kemudian disajikan secara naratif, adapun hasil penelitian bahwa Km. Adithya mampu memenuhi semua dimensi pelayanan dengan baik dengan beberapa indikator yang perlu dilakukan perbaikan oleh manajemen perusahaan, penelitian evaluasi pelayanan dengan menggunakan metode mystery passengger bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran objektif kualitas pelayanan kapal laut dan khusus untuk manajemen Kapal Motor Adithya hasil evaluasi sebagai bahan masukan untuk perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas pelayanan dan akan bermuara pada eksistensi bisnis perusahaan.

Abstract

Virtual Experiential Marketing is a marketing strategy that enhances consumer experience by providing sustainable elements, such as interactive and memorable virtual experiences. This can increase consumer satisfaction and motivate them to participate in sustainable activities. The importance of Virtual Experiential Marketing in Sustainability-Oriented Innovation can be seen in things such as Virtual Experiential Marketing, which can increase customer satisfaction by providing a more personalized and interactive experience.The method used in this research is a systematic literature review with bibliographic analysis, used to identify research with the theme of Virtual Experiential Marketing and Sustainability-Oriented, using VOSViewer 1.6.19 software. Based on the clusters identified through the bibliography consisting of 494 selected articles, there are 11 clusters with 61 items related to Virtual Experiential Marketing and Sustainability-Oriented Innovation that can be suggested for future innovative research topics.

Abstract

The implementation of Computational Thinking (CT) in language instruction has drawn interest due to its potential in improving students' analytical and problem-solving abilities. However, its uses in specific fields, such Maritime English especially in reading comprehension, is still not well established. This study is a qualitative study that aims to explore how students perceive the use of CT in Maritime English reading instruction. 31 Students from a maritime higher education institution participated in semi-structured interviews. The result indicates that students view CT as a useful technique for enhancing reading comprehension and engagement. Moreover, the perception is divided into abstraction, algorithm, decomposition, evaluation and pattern recognition. In terms of abstraction, students claim that they can ignore irrelevant information and pick relevant information. In terms of algorithm, students believe that they can apply strategies in reading to make a better comprehension such as underline keywords. In terms of decomposition, students feel confident in breaking down long and complex sentences to find the meaning. In terms of evaluation, students can evaluate the information in the text. In terms of pattern recognition, students are aware of common pattern/sentence structure and organization in the text. The study emphasizes the value of contextualized CT education and offers suggestions for integrating CT into Maritime English learning reading instruction. The finding of this study offers potential instructional strategies for maritime education.
