Abstract

Cardiac Arrest or cardiac arrest is a condition of sudden loss of heart function to pump blood. This causes a lack of oxygen distributed throughout the body, especially to the brain and heart. If the brain lacks oxygen, brain cells will die and result in loss of consciousness. The purpose of the activity is to minimize the occurrence of disability or even death in victims who experience out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) and the community is able to provide first aid to save the victim, alleviate the victim's suffering and prevent further harm until better assistance is provided and bring the victim to the nearest medical team to reduce the level of morbidity and mortality. The results of this PkM activity have increased the health status and independence of the community with indicators that the community's ability to practice basic life support procedures for cardiac arrest. The conclusion is that health education is to improve health status, prevent the onset of disease and increase health problems.

The results of this study explain that the most common characteristics for age were 14 respondents and for gender there were 19 respondents. The results of the bivariate test using the Spearman correlation test were obtained (p=value) = 0.000, which is smaller than the value α=0.05. Conclusion Work experience does not always influence nurses' knowledge about the accuracy of giving triage labels in the Emergency Room. However, there is a relationship between nurses' knowledge about triage labels and nurses' actions based on triage labels at Tajuddin Chalid Hospital.

Abstract

Abstract

Immunization is the most effective and efficient public health effort in preventing diseases and reducing mortality, such as smallpox, polio, tuberculosis, hepatitis B, diphtheria, measles, rubella and congenital rubella syndrome (CRS), tetanus, pneumonia (inflammation of lungs) and meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain). Immunization aims to provide immunity to the child's body by administering a vaccine. Vaccine is a drug that is given to help prevent a disease. There are still many who have not received complete immunization due to various reasons such as lack of knowledge of mothers about immunization and low awareness of mothers bringing their babies to Posyandu or Puskesmas to get complete immunization, lack of explanation from health workers about the benefits of immunization including the factor of low maternal education. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between education, knowledge and attitudes of mothers at the Manisa Health Center. This research is analytic with a cross sectional approach, in this study were mothers who had babies, with a total sampling technique obtained 30 respondents. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire as a research instrument. The data that has been collected is then processed and analyzed using the chi-square test. The results of statistical analysis, obtained a relationship between education and completeness of basic immunization in infants (0.007 <0.05), there is a relationship between knowledge and completeness of basic immunization in infants (0.000 <0.05) and there is a relationship between attitude and completeness of basic immunization in infants (0.000 <0.05). Based on the results of this study it was concluded that there was a relationship between education, knowledge and attitudes of mothers with the completeness of basic immunization in infants. Through this research, it is hoped that health workers at the Manisa Health Center will be more active in providing counseling and information about immunization services and for researchers to add experience and apply the knowledge they have gained.

Abstract

Mobilization is an independent action for a nurse in carrying out nursing care for post-surgical patients. Many benefits can be achieved from early postoperative mobilization exercises, including increasing the speed of breathing depth, increasing circulation, increasing urination and metabolism. Laparotomy is an action involving the abdominal cavity that can be performed with open surgery. This research aims a. maintain body functions and prevent deterioration and restore the range of motion of certain activities so that sufferers can return to normal or at least be able to meet their daily needs. b. Streamlining blood circulation. c. helps breathing to become strong for and to determine the effect of early mobilization on intestinal peristalsis in postoperative laparotomy patients in the Inpatient Room of the Nene Mallomo Regional General Hospital. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design: non-equivalent control group design. This research was carried out by providing intervention in the form of giving early mobilization. While the control group was not given any treatment by the researchers apart from observing intestinal peristalsis. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling method with a total sample of 30 people consisting of a control group and a treatment group of 15 people each, then the results were tested by means of the Independent Sample T-Test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of this study found that changes in intestinal peristalsis in postoperative laparotomy patients in the Inpatient Room of the Nene Mallomo Regional General Hospital in the group given early mobilization (treatment group) averaged 11.200 (±0.262), changes in intestinal peristalsis in postoperative laparotomy patients in the Inpatient Room of the Nene Mallomo Regional General Hospital in the control group the average was 1.533 (± 0.723), and there was an effect of early mobilization on changes in intestinal peristalsis in postoperative laparotomy patients in the Inpatient Room of the Nene Mallomo Regional General Hospital (p=0.001 ). The conclusion is that early mobilization can increase intestinal peristalsis in post-laparotomy patients in the Inpatient Room of the Nene Mallomo Regional General Hospital so that it is expected that health workers will continue to carry out early mobilization in post-laparotomy patients and in post-laparotomy patients as early as possible to speed up the recovery process. function of the patient's digestive system.

Abstract

Basic life support is a series of emergency measures designed to save the life of a person experiencing a life-threatening medical condition. Basic life support can be used in any situation, from a heart attack to an accident. Basic life support is the first effort made to maintain life when a sufferer experiences a threatening situation. Emergency events cannot be predicted and can happen anywhere and to anyone. Delays and errors in handling them can have very fatal effects and cannot be corrected in subsequent actions. The aim of this research is to look for similarities, advantages and disadvantages regarding the description of knowledge and implementation of basic life support for emergency nurses in the emergency department. This research method uses a correlational descriptive method. This research uses a sample with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis is based on percentages and described in a frequency distribution table. The results of the research show a relationship between knowledge and skills of nurses in carrying out basic life support measures in the emergency department at Palaloi Hospital, Maros Regency. The level of relationship between the two variables is that the strength of the relationship is at a medium relationship level. Apart from that, this positive relationship means an increase in knowledge followed by an increase in nurses' skills in carrying out basic life support actions.
