Abstract

The nutritional needs of pregnant women must be fulfilled because the needs of pregnant women must be able to nourish the fetus in the womb. Do not let pregnant women lack nutrition because if they lack nutrition the fetus they contain is unhealthy and also has complications. The facts found in the field are that there is low public knowledge about the importance of nutrition in pregnant women. The method of solving problems that is carried out is Education about providing education on the importance of nutrition to pregnant women. During the community service activities, 20 pregnant women attended the attendance. The results of the activity were obtained. Participants were enthusiastic about the extension material, none of the participants left the extension site during the extension process and more than 75% of the participants who attended were able to answer questions from the extension agents about the material presented. This proves that the participants pay attention to the material presented. The conclusion is that the provision of knowledge about the importance of nutrition in pregnant women has a positive impact on society, so that people understand the importance of nutrition in pregnant women.

Abstract

Background: The development phase is an important period for a baby's life. One of the most important factors in the development phase is nutritional needs. Nutrition is needed from when the baby is in the womb until birth. The baby's nutritional needs during pregnancy are obtained from the mother during pregnancy, while nutrition when the baby is born is obtained from exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and fine motor skills in infants aged 7-12 months in the Kapasa Health Center work area. Method: This study uses a quantitative research type using a retrospective research design. The sampling technique uses Purposive Sampling. The number of samples is 30 respondents. Analysis using the Chi-square test. Results: The results of the Chi-square test obtained a value of p = 0.004 (p> 0.05) this identifies Ha as accepted, which means there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and fine motor skills in infants aged 7-12 months in the Kapasa Health Center work area. Conclusion: Exclusive breastfeeding plays an important role in supporting the development of infants' fine motor skills. This study recommends that mothers exclusively breastfeed for the first six months of a baby's life and avoid giving complementary foods or formula milk before the age of six months to ensure optimal growth and development of the baby.

Abstract

Abstract: During pregnancy, some of the nutrient requirements will increase. The important thing that must be considered by pregnant women is that the food consumed consists of a balanced menu composition. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about pregnancy nutrition. The facts found in the field are that there is low public knowledge about the importance of nutritionin pregnant women. The method of solving problems that is carried out is Education about providing ducation on the importance of nutrition to pregnant women. During the community service activities, 18 pregnant women attended the attendance. The results of the activity were obtained. Participants were enthusiastic about the extension material, none of the participants left the extension site during the extension process and more than 75% of the participants who attended were able to answer questions from the extension agents about the material presented. This proves that the participants pay attention to the material presented. The conclusion is that the provision of knowledge about the importance of nutrition in pregnant women has a positive impact on society, so that people understand the importance of nutrition in pregnant women. It is hoped that further counseling will focus on nutrition in the first, second and third trimesters of pregnant

Abstract

Pencapaian Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) di Indonesia masih sangat rendah, hal ini disebabkan rendahnya pengetahuan ibu dalam pelaksanaan IMD. Terkait dengan hal  ini maka dibutuhkan instrumen yang tepat untuk menambah pengetahuan ibu hamil secara komperehensif.Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan mendesain dan memvalidasi kartu kendali edukasi IMD pada ibu hamil trimester III yang dapat digunakan oleh bidan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan IMD pada ibu kartu tersebut di desain dan diuji coba terlebih dahulu oleh beberapa tim ahli untuk divalidasi kepada beberapa orang sampel sebelum akhirnya digunakan kepada sampel pasien.Metode Penelitian : jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment dengan desain one gruppretest – posttes with kontrol. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua ibu hamil di Puskesmas Jumpandang Baru Makassar, tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling. jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 orang kemudian dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok.  Yang akan di berikan perlakuan satu kelompok menggunakan kartu kendali satu kelompok tanpa menggunakan kartu kendali Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden sebelum dan sesudah edukasi. Analisis menggunakan uji Chisquare, Mannwhitney dan Friedman. kartu kendali edukasi divalidasi oleh 3 tim ahli yaitu ahli komunikasi, konselor laktasi dan kebidanan.Hasil Penelitian : terdapat pengaruh kartu kendali edukasi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang IMD dengan nilai P = 0,000 yaitu pengetahuan kurang sebelum edukasi 40,5, setelah pemberian edukasi pertama menggunakan kartu pengetahuan ibu meningkat menjadi 50,17, pada edukasi edukasi ke dua menjadi 60,17 dan pada edukasi terakhir menjadi 73,17  Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kartu kendali edukasi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil akan praktik IMDKesimpulan : kartu kendali edukasi IMD pada ibu hamil terbentuk dan terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang IMD secara signifikan.Saran : penggunaan kartu kendali edukasi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan praktik IMD perlu dimulai sejak trimester II kehamilan.

Results: The results of the study obtained a p value = 0.0004 (p <0.05) this identifies that there is a relationship between giving exclusive breastfeeding to the growth of babies aged 7-12 months in the Balla Parang Health Center work area, Makassar. Conclusion: Exclusive breastfeeding affects the growth of babies aged <6 months and mothers should avoid giving complementary foods/formula milk to meet the baby's nutrition so that growth can be achieved optimally

Abstract

Pain during labor is the pain that is felt in laboring mothers due to uterine contractions which is a physiological process of the human body when facing labor. Giving interventions in the labor process to reduce maternal pain that takes place during the first stage of the active phase of labor is needed, a very effective method in dealing with pain is to provide Warm compress action. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Warm compress e on the intensity of pain in pregnant women during the first active phase at the  biru bone Public Health Center This type of research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design. The research design is one group pretest and posttest design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The number of samples is 30 respondents. The analysis in this study used the Mc Nemarc test statistical test with a significance level of 95% (α 0.05). The results obtained before the warm compress was 26,7% who experienced mild pain, after being given warm compress there was an increase of 83,3% who experienced mild pain. Based on the Mc Nemarc test, the value of = 0.000 < 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Which means that there is an effect of warm compress on decreasing pain intensity in maternity mothers during the first active phase. Conclusion of this researchnamely warm compress is effective for reducing the intensity of pain in the first stage of the active phase in maternity because it's so focused at the point of pain, Thenexpected midwifein providing caremidwifery can apply warm compress to reduce pain intensity in maternity mothers.
