Abstract

Respiratory tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant global health concern and ranks among the top 10 leading causes of death worldwide, following human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS). Globally, it is estimated that 1.2 billion people are at risk of being infected with tuberculosis, and Indonesia is the country that contributes the third-highest number of TB cases worldwide, behind China and India. Tuberculosis is still a significant issue in South Kalimantan, notably in Banjar Regency. This study is a descriptive study that intends to identify respiratory TB clusters spatially and temporally in Astambul District during 2020–2021 with the SatScan application, which is visualized as a map of respiratory TB clusters using the Quantum GIS 3.28 application. Data on respiratory TB cases collected from the Banjar District Health Office were examined using retrospective space-time scan statistics, employing a Poisson probability model for analysis. This study found 4 respiratory TB clusters, and 2 of them had significant results, namely in 2020 (RR=6.90, p-value=0.000030) and 2021 (RR=5.27, p-value=0.00003). Factors that affect these clusters are population density, the physical condition of houses, humidity levels, and the availability of health facilities.

Abstract

Children under five deaths caused by one of them by pneumonia every year in the world and Indonesia.Pneumonia causes respiratory problems that affect oxygen saturation. If not handled properly causes disabilityand death, then intervention is needed in the form of positioning that can improve children's health status. Objective: to identify research articles on positioning for an improvement in the health status of children withpneumonia. The method is literature review, which analyzes scientific articles from 3 databases: ScienceDirect, Whiley Online and Ebscohost. Keywords pneumonia, position *, and oxygenation. Criteria for inclusionof research articles, 2014-2019 and English. 9 journals obtained using the PICO formulation. Results:Semirecumbent, prone, fowler and lateral position adjustments can increase oxygen saturation, prevent VAPevents and stabilize hemodynamics. Conclusion: proper positioning is semirecumbent, prone, fowler, andlateral positions. Research is needed on the effectiveness of each position on the health status of children withpneumonia that is useful and can be implemented in nursing care in children with pneumonia in the hospital.

Abstract

Background: Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020 there were 2.7 million cases of perineal rupture in maternity mothers. In Asia the incidence of perineal rupture is also a considerable problem in society, 50% of the incidence of perineal rupture in the world occurs in Asia. The number is expected to increase to 6.3 million by 2050 if it does not receive more attention and treatment. (WHO, 2020). Objective of the study: This is to determine the relationship between perineal care and perineal wound healing in sixth day postpartum women at PMB Ermawati Am.Keb Lubuklinggau City. Research Methods: The method used is this research design using analytical observational research design with crossectional research design, data collected by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents who experienced perineal wounds and in the puerperium during the sixth postpartum day at the Independent Midwife Practice (PMB) Ermawati Am.Keb Lubuklinggau City. Research Results: that of the 30 respondents, almost most of the respondents carried out perineal care well, namely 26 people (86.7%) and those who carried out perineal wound care were less, namely 4 people (13.3%). The results of the bivariate test analysis show that there is a relationship between perineal care and perineal wound healing in postpartum women on the sixth day where the Chi-square test results show that with a p-value of .000 <0.05. Suggestion: Researchers suggest that service institutions can improve the quality of service in handling patients in providing information that proper perineal care can help accelerate the healing process of perineal wounds so that health services are more optimal.
