Abstract

This research aims to know students' perceptions of the competencies of pedagogical lecturers, the quality of administrative services, the completeness of the facilities supporting lectures, student satisfaction and its relationship with the motivation of student learning. The approach used is quantitative with the design of survey research. The research population was 3,702 of FIP UM students, while the sample was 361 students. The study was conducted in 2020. Sampling techniques using proportional sampling and simple random sampling. Data collection using questionnaires, meanwhile for data analysis using two kinds of analysis techniques, namely descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results showed: (1) the competency of pedagogic lecturers, and the quality of administrative services according to the perception of students in the category is quite good, while the student's perception of the completeness of the lecture support facilities in the category is quite complete, the student expresses satisfaction for the services received. But on the motivation of studying of FIP students have a low level; (2) there is an influence on the level of pedagogical competency of lecturers on the motivation of student learning; (3) there is an influence on the quality of administrative services on student learning motivation; (4) there is an influence on the completeness of the facilities to support lectures on the motivation of student learning; (5) there is an influence of satisfaction on the motivation of student learning; and (6) simultaneously there is the influence of lecturer competency level, quality of administrative services, completeness of lecture support facilities, and student satisfaction on learning motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of CEO-based leadership and teacher readiness quality through the independent teaching platform on the successful implementation of the kurikulum merdeka. This research was carried out at Pengmobil Middle Schools throughout Malang City, the sampling technique used was purposive random sampling, so that from a population of 300, 263 teachers and 11 school principals were obtained as research respondents. This research method is quantitative, with a structural model or SEM design using SmartPLS4 to examine the direct and indirect influence of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. The exogenous variables in this research are CEO-based leadership as X1, teacher readiness quality as X2, independent teaching platform as Z1 or intervening, and successful implementation of the kurikulum merdeka as Y1. Partial testing was carried out using a significance value of <0.05 in all tests. The test results show that Fcount > Ftable, which means there is a positive and significant influence. In detail, the analysis was carried out in 4 stages, namely (1) validity and reliability test, (2) model feasibility test which was represented in the chi square determination with a value of <3.00, SRMR with a value of <0.10, NFI with a score of >0.80 , d_g with a score of >0.05, and d_Uls with a score of >0.05, (3) bootstrapping will be allocated in assessing the significance of direct and indirect influence measurements which can be seen in the R2, F2, outer loading and cross loading values , and (4) blindfolding used to determine predictive associations. The results of this research showed that all hypotheses were accepted, both direct and indirect effects. Overall, exogenous variables contributed 81.3% of their influence on the successful implementation of the kurikulum merdeka, while the remaining 19.7% was influenced by other variables that had not been studied.

Abstract

Teacher leadership is a special role and responsibility carried out by teachers so that they effectively provide services to student learning and collaborate in quality improvement towards continuous improvement of existing systems in schools. Currently, there have been many studies related to teacher leadership and of course with various research plans in the future. The purpose of this study is to find out how the outcomes of teacher leadership in sustainable school improvement by conducting an articles review supported by bibliometric analysis consisting of 78 published articles in the last decade years, from 2013 to 2023 sourced from various trusted database publishers such as Google Scholar, Science Direct, Springer, Emerald, Eric, and Proquest. The results show that the outcomes of the implementation of teacher leadership are student learning with the existence of effective learning practices by teachers in and out of the classroom supported by the existence of a supportive professional learning community and/or organizational learning environment in schools which ultimately has implications for instructional practice.
