Abstract

HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) education can help develop student character. HOTS is a type of high-level rational ability in students, that is, high-level rationality with the intention to return to appropriate and creative work. This research aims: 1) To determine the planning and implementation of HOTS-based PAI learning for class XI 1 SMA N 1 Bluluk Lamongan students. 2) Knowing the evaluation of HOTS-based PAI learning for class XI 1 SMA N 1 Bluluk Lamongan students. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative approach using a descriptive research design. Three collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The type and summary of data used is primary data and secondary data by analyzing data absorption techniques. Research findings show the use of HOTS materials for PAI which is carried out through observations and actions as well as evaluations carried out. The implementation of HOTS-based PAI in schools can increase students' ability to improve their high-level thinking abilities.

Abstract

This study is conducted in the context of the expectation that graduates of today's curricula would possess advanced critical thinking abilities. Indonesia is attempting to address this by putting HOTS-based learning into practice. As a matter of fact, not all educational institutions have successfully incorporated High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) as high-level/critical thinking skills due to a number of factors, including the availability of both natural and human resources at various levels and institutions. Therefore, this study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills in learning Islamic Religious Education and to determine the effect of Islamic Religious Education learning based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on students' critical thinking attitudes in Class X SMA PGRI 1 Jombang. This study uses a quantitative type methodology with data instruments through the provision of tests and questionnaires. in class X SMA PGRI 1 Jombang, with a total study population of 310 students and a sample of 72 students. Data analysis techniques in this study include descriptive analysis, classical assumptions include data normality tests, homogeneity tests, linearity tests and measuring hypotheses with a simple linear regression test. The results of this study can be concluded that the critical attitude ability of SMA PGRI 1 Jombang in Islamic Religious Education subjects is in the High category because it has an average score of 77.27. there is a significant influence between HOTS Islamic Religious Education Learning and the critical attitude of SMA PGRI 1 Jombang students, due to data analysis from the test results of the calculation coefficient of determination R = 0.332 and R² = 0.110. It can be interpreted that social support plays a role in resilience by 11% and the rest are other variables not mentioned in this study.

Abstract

The ability as a leader has the authority to move all components in the educational institution, especially in maximizing the performance of teachers and the competencies they hold. Therefore, the aim of this research is to look at, observe and examine the leadership of school principals in an effort to increase the effectiveness and proficiency of Islamic religious education teachers. The elements studied were the competency of Islamic Religious Education teachers, teacher performance, and school principal leadership. The researchers used curriculum heads, school principals, and Islamic Religious Education teacher subjects in a descriptive qualitative research methodology. Researchers collect data through interviews, documentation and observation. The data analysis method for this research's conclusions was drawn through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research findings show that the leadership of the school principal as a mover, director, motivator, mentor is able to maximize his role and function in order to improve the quality and performance of Islamic religious education teachers. The performance and competence of Islamic religious education teachers at SMPN 1 Tembelang Jombang meets the criteria as a competent teacher in their field through the leadership of a competent principal in carrying out his duties. The principal at SMPN 1 Tembelang Jombang improved the performance and competence of PAI teachers through affirmation of attending MGMP, seminars, workshops and workshops. He encourages academic supervision, providing feedback, and holding one-on-one conversations.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Comparative Study of Jurisprudence Learning Outcomes Between Cooperative Learning Model Type Group Investigation and Conventional Learning Model Class XI Students MA Al - Ihsan Kalikejambon Jombang. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in learning outcomes between the cooperative learning model type Group Investigation and the conventional learning methods of class XI MA Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon Jombang. This research uses a quantitative research approach with the type of experimental research in order to find differences in the learning outcomes of the experimental and control groups after a certain treatment has been given to others under controlled conditions. Based on the results of statistical calculations from the average post-test results of the experimental class 90.00 and the average post-test results of the control class 79.44, the calculation was obtained using the SPSS 25.00 for windows program with a significance (Sig 2-tailed) of 0.002. Because the Sig. (2 - tailed) is less than 0.05 (0.002 <0.05) then Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the post-test results of the experimental class and the control class. Thus, it can be said that the teaching and learning process carried out with the group investigation type cooperative learning model in class XI MIPA was better than the conventional learning model in class XI IIS on student learning outcomes in Islamic Civilization History subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the steps for using the MURDER learning strategy and to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the MURDER learning strategy in PAI subjects at Roudlotun Nasyi'in Vocational School in Mojokerto. The background of the problem in this research is that the teacher in carrying out learning has not fully implemented the appropriate learning model and is in accordance with the student's way of learning. This raises problems when the teacher applies a monotonous learning model and does not match the student's learning style, so the learning process does not attract students' interest in learning so that students find it difficult to understand the material being taught. The problems in this research are: 1. what are the steps in using the MURDER learning strategy. 2. the advantages and disadvantages of the MURDER learning strategy. How is the level of students' ability to express ideas, thoughts and experiences through this learning model. The method used during the research was: an approach to the pie teacher at Roudlotun Nasyi'in Vocational High School in Mojokerto. Data analysis techniques are describing phenomena, classifying them, seeing concepts. This type of research is qualitative research. The research subjects were PAI teachers at Roudlotun Nasyi'in SMK Mojokerto. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews and documentation to complete the revealed data. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the application of the MURDER learning strategy can improve students' thinking skills so that students are able to understand the MURDER learning strategy very well.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is a real problem throughout the world, where with the outbreak of the Covid pandemic cases, there are many impacts in various sectors, especially in the education sector, economy, commerce and many more. The most disturbing thing in the implications of the covid 19 pandemic is in the education sector. Indonesia as a country that is late in responding to globalization, of course, with the Covid-19 pandemic, is intended to immediately adapt, including in the world of education. Learning in schools, which was originally carried out offline or face-to-face, with the pandemic, is required to be able to collaborate with technology such as applying online learning even though we realize that learning is very inefficient and tends to improve and cut students' understanding. The impact that the Covid-19 pandemic was born during the New Normal era is in resources such as very slow and or unreliable and unstable internet connections, noisy online classrooms and lack of privacy during online classes simultaneously, lack of a licensed/registered Learning Management System (LMS) to continuously hold online classes and the lack of computers and internet connections for some educators. Educators are physically prepared for New Normal teaching, but educators are not emotionally prepared, therefore educators prefer to teach in the classroom rather than in a virtual classroom. The impact on educator adjustment is in terms of the student environment, curriculum, teaching strategies, and the use of technology. The age, gender, type of school and level of students taught by educators are factors that influence student teaching in the New Normal era.

Abstract

MA Darussalamah Baruh Sampang is one of the institutions whose learning process is also affected by the Covid-19 virus pandemic. In the new-normal era, the education sector has started teaching and learning activities through online learning. Departing from these problems, the purpose of this study is to describe the implementation process, the constraints, and the impact of online learning during the new normal in fiqh subjects for class XI. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive procedure. The subjects of this study were the head of the madrasa, a fiqh teacher for class XI and one of the students of MA Darussalamah. The object of this research is the implementation of online learning in the new-normal period in class XI fiqh subjects at MA Darussalamah. Data collection techniques with the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The implementation of online learning through E-learning and Whatsapp. The teacher gives assignments or fiqh material in the hope that students can apply it in everyday life. 2) Obstacles in online learning in Jurisprudence subjects are the inability of educators to explain or convey to students and students do not understand what the teacher explains and especially the signals. 3) The impact of online learning in the new-normal period is too monotonous explanations that make students bored. And more spending to buy quota.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Kitab Kuning pada mata pelajaran Fikih merupakan pembelajaran yang sebenarnya dilekatkan pada kitab-kitab warisan abad pertengahan Islam yang masih dipergunakan di Pesantren. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses dan efektivitas pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis Kitab Kuning pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MTs Darun Najah Karangploso Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswi kelas VIII E yang berjumlah 29 siswi. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 29 siswi, karena populasi berjumlah kurang dari 100. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis Kitab Kuning pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MTs Darun Najah Karangploso Malang menurut teori yang telah dikemukakan oleh Slavin berjalan efektif (2) Dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik, tingkat keefektifan pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MTs Darun Najah Karangploso Malang, ditunjukkan dari hasil angket dengan menggunakan rumus percentage of agreement, didapatkan persentase sebesar 73% yang termasuk dalam kategori efektif. Maka dari itu, pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis Kitab Kuning pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MTs Darun Najah Karangploso Malang berjalan efektif

Abstract

Hots-based learning in the subject of Jurisprudence is learning that requires the ability to think critically, logically, reflectively, metacognitively, and think creatively about fiqh materials. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of High Order Thinking Skills (Hots)-based fiqh learning at MAN Kota Pasuruan. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The number of informants in this study were 5 grade XI students, grade XI fiqh teachers and madrasah curriculum deputy head. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. Descriptive type qualitative data analysis technique through four stages, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion/verification. Data validation techniques use trustworthiness, extension of participation and triangulation. The results showed that: The implementation of High Order Thinking Skills (Hots) based fiqh learning at MAN Kota Pasuruan has been effective since the establishment of the 2013 curriculum until now. The purpose of implementing Higher Order Thinking Skills (Hots) learning in fiqh subjects is to improve and develop the ability of thinking patterns and the ability of students at a higher level in learning Fiqh with discussion, question and answer and problem solving methods. While the obstacles in its application are the teacher's difficulty in dealing with the different abilities of students, the less than optimal preparation of students in learning fiqh.

Abstract

Berpikir kritis dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis HOTS. Berpikir kritis memerlukan pelatihan dalam pengenalan pola, penjelasan, hipotesis, generalisasi, dan bukti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran dilaksanakan, pendekatan dan evaluasi apa yang digunakan, bagaimana siswa memahami pembelajaran, dan apa saja kendala yang timbul berdasarkan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada kurikulum mandiri tentang keyakinan moral untuk siswa kelas 8 A di MTs Negeri Kota Batu. Penelitian Tiff bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Kendala penelitian meliputi 30 siswa kelas 8 A di MTs Negeri Kota Batu. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa (1) pembelajaran ini berhasil. (2) Pembelajaran ini menggunakan pendekatan yang bervariasi dan dievaluasi dengan ulangan harian, mengulang konten, dan ulangan akhir semester. (3) Siswa memahami pelajaran ini dengan baik, namun beberapa masih kesulitan menerimanya. (4) Siswa yang belum siap belajar dan guru yang belum memahami pembelajaran berbasis HOTS pada kurikulum mandiri tentang pandangan moral menjadi kendala dalam pembelajaran ini.
