Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see which is better between students who get project assessment learning and students who get conventional learning and the correlation between mathematical anxiety and representation ability. This research method is the Concurrent Embedded Model type Mix Method research, which is a method that combines the use of quantitative and qualitative research methods simultaneously / together (or vice versa) but the bobods vary. The population in this study is all junior high school students of Nu darul Maarif Indramayu took two Class VII samples were randomly assigned. The instruments used were test and non-test instruments. Test instruments in the form of mathematical identification ability tests, questionnaires to determine student attitudes, observations and interviews to find out errors in student answers. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, the conclusion is that: 1) there are differences in the increase in the ability of mathematical representation to obtain project assessment learning and students who obtain conventional learning. 2) there is an increase in the ability to get project assessment learning and students who get conventional learning are seen from the initial ability of mathematics (high, medium, low). 3) there is a relationship between the ability of representation with mathematical anxiety, students who use the project assessment learning model experience moderate levels of anxiety, and conventional learning experiences severe levels of anxiety.

Abstract

Pademi virus corona memaksa guru untuk mempraktikan pembelajaran berbasis online. Banyak penelitian yang menggunakan teknologi untuk membantu proses pembelajaran, namun masih sedikit penelitian yang menggunakan google classroom untuk membantu proses pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni menganalisis dampak penggunaan pembelajaran berbasis google classroom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif diskriptif menggunakan metode survey. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket respon peserta didik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMP NU Darul Ma’arif kelas 8 semester genap kabupaten Indramayu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa indikator pengetahuan penggunaan Google Classroom pada menunjukan rata-rata peserta didik menjawab sangat setuju dan setuju adalah 86,4 % dan tidak setuju sebesar 13,6 %. Untuk indikator kualitas pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi google classrom rata-rata peserta didik menjawab sangat setuju dan setuju 92,2 % dan tidak setuju sebesar 7,8%. Sedangkan, untuk indikator kemudahan menggunakan aplikasi google rata-rata peserta didik menjawab sangat setuju dan setuju 87,5 % dan tidak setuju sebesar 12,5%. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran google classroom mendapatkan respon yang baik peserta didik sehingga dapat digunakan saat pembelajaran online disaat pademi covid 19

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai peranan kerangka Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) dalam pembelajaran untuk guru matematika Era digital. Artikel ini merupakan hasil kajian literature dengan sumber kajian berupa artikel baik jurnal nasional terakreditasi maupun jurnal international yang terakreditasi. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk pengembangan guru matematika yang mengindikasikan perlu adanya profesionalitas guru matematika, terutama pada kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional. Salah satu kerangka yang dapat digunakan untuk memfasilitasi pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional adalah Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK). Dengan TPACK, guru matematika diharapkan dapat mengembangkan kemapuan pedagogic, kempuan pembuatan konten yang diintegrasikan dengan teknologi dalam pembelajaran pada materi matematika sehingga mampu membentuk karakter dan kepribadian siswa yang teritegrasi dengan teknologi saat disekolah. Kerangka kerja teknologi, pedagogis, dan pengetahuan konten (TPACK) memberikan pemahaman tentang pengetahuan guru di tiga bidang dan bagaimana hal itu digunakan untuk mengajar secara efektif dengan teknologi maka perlu dilakukan penelitian-penelitian tentang TPACK

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes by applying learning models to Realistic Mathematic Education on material for arithmetic operations on fractions in class V SDN 1 Karangkendal, Kapetakan District, Cirebon Regency. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in 3 cycles. The subjects of this study were 29 grade 5 students at SDN 1 Karangkendal, Kapetakan District, Cirebon Regency. Research data was collected through tests. This data analysis uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed increased learning outcomes in fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Karangkendal, Kapetakan District, Cirebon Regency, through a learning model, Realistic Mathematic Education. The increase in student learning outcomes is shown by the increasing number of students who meet the Minimum Mastery Criteria scores. In cycle one there were 62.1% of students achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria scores. Then, in cycle two there were 75.9% of students had achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria score; in cycle three, 86.2% of students had achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria score. Based on these results, there is an increase in student learning outcomes with the application of learning models Realistic Mathematic Education on material for arithmetic operations on fractions at SDN 1 Karangkendal, Kapetakan District, Cirebon Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using interactive applications in enhancing students' understanding of algebra concepts. Using a literature review method, this study collects and analyzes the results of various research conducted from 2019 to 2024. The literature reviewed includes both international and Indonesian studies that examine the use of interactive applications in algebra education. The results of the literature review indicate that interactive applications can significantly improve student understanding. Students using interactive applications show increased engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes compared to conventional teaching methods. Studies in Indonesia support these findings, reporting improved understanding and interest in algebra among students. These findings suggest that integrating technology into math education can be an effective strategy for enhancing student learning outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended that schools and educators consider using interactive applications as a teaching aid in algebra education.

Abstract

Technological developments are increasingly rapid; in this technological development, many interactive and effective learning media have emerged to be applied in learning. Using the literature study method, researchers want to convey learning media teachers can use or develop using current technology. Such as using the PowerPoint application to present lesson material. Digital Geoshape application to make it easier to study geometry material. GeoGebra application that can be used by students and teachers in line equation material. Adobe Animate application that can create or develop interactive learning media. Online-based PowToon media provides audiovisual media such as animated cartoons, etc. The Canva application provides presentation designs, etc., which help design learning media. Wordwall-based games are games that offer gameplay and learning features. And educational adventure games that can be used in fraction counting operation material.

Abstract

Motivation is a crucial factor influencing student performance in the Mathematics learning process. This research aims to identify strategies to enhance student motivation in Mathematics, addressing the common issue of low enthusiasm and reduced classroom activity. The objective is to develop effective teaching methods that increase student perseverance and independent learning in Mathematics. The study applied a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys to measure student motivation levels and qualitative interviews with teachers to explore successful motivational strategies. Data was collected from 200 high school students and 20 Mathematics teachers in Jakarta. Statistical analysis was used to identify significant factors affecting Motivation, while thematic analysis provided insights into effective teaching practices. The results indicate interactive teaching methods, personalized feedback, and real-world problem-solving activities significantly boost student motivation. Students reported higher engagement and better performance when these strategies were implemented. The study concludes that adopting these methods can effectively address low Motivation in Mathematics, improving student outcomes.
