<![CDATA[PSYCHOANALYSIS STUDY OF THE CHARACTER DANANG IN THE NOVEL THE DARKEST SECRET OF HEAVEN BY BRIANAbstractThis research aims to analyze the novel "The Secret of the Darkest Heaven" by Brian Khrisna with a study of literary psychology according to Sigmund Freud which includes the id, ego and superego. This research was conducted to determine the psychological aspects of characters such as emotions, thoughts and behavior. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data used in this research are dialogues, monologues, paragraph fragments and complete paragraphs of the character Danang in the novel The Darkest Secret of Heaven by Brian Khrisna. The results of this research show that the character Danang in the novel The Darkest Secret of Heaven by Brian Khrisna has three personality elements, namely Id, Ego and Superego. The id aspect of Danang's character can be seen through several behaviors that prioritize desire and reducing pain in him, the ego personality element is seen when Danang's character overcomes the problems that happen to him with a realistic concept, and the superego personality element can be found when Danang's character takes action. -actions based on knowledge of the norms of politeness and humility that one has.Keywords: Psychoanalysis, Novels, Sigmund FreudKAJIAN PSIKOANALISIS TOKOH DANANG PADA NOVEL RAHASIA TERGELAP SURGA KARYA BRIAN KHRISNAAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis novel “Rahasia Tergelap Surga" karya Brian Khrisna dengan kajian psikologi sastra menurut Sigmund Freud yang mencakup id, ego, dan superego. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui aspek kejiwaan tokoh seperti emosi, pikiran, dan perilaku. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa dialog, monolog, penggalan paragraf, dan paragraf utuh tokoh Danang yang ada di dalam novel Rahasia Tergelap Surga karya Brian Khrisna. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Danang dalam novel Rahasia Tergelap Surga karya Brian Khrisna memiliki tiga unsur kepribadian yaitu Id,Ego,dan Superego. aspek id yang ada pada tokoh Danang tampak melalui beberapa perilaku yang mengedepankan keinginan dan pengurangan rasa sakit pada dirinya,unsur kepribadian ego tampak ketika bagaimana tokoh Danang mengatasi masalah yang terjadi pada dirinya dengan konsep realistis,dan unsur kepribadian superego dapat ditemui ketika tokoh Danang melakukan tindakan-tindakan yang didasarkan pada pengetahuan norma kesopanan dan kerendahan hati yang dimilikinya.Kata kunci: Psikoanalisis, Novel, Sigmund Freud]]>
