Abstract

Manajemen pemasaran pendidikan memiliki peranan yang sangat penting, terutama di era globalisasi yang semakin kompetitif saat ini. Pemasaran Pendidikan merupakan salah satu langkah dalam meningkatkan minat masyarakat. Melalui strategi pemasaran yang efektif, masyarakat akan lebih mengenal dan mengetahui program-program yang ditawarkan oleh suatu lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengulas lebih mendalam mengenai manajemen pemasaran pendidikan yang digunakan oleh SMKN 1 Merangin. Metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses manajemen pemasaran Pendidikan dalam meningkatkan minat peserta didik di SMKN 1 Merangin terdiri dari kegiatan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Perencanaan dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis peluang yang dimiliki dan menetapkan strategi pemasaran. Pengorganisasian dilakukan dengan cara membentuk tim pemasaran. Pelaksanaan pemasaran dilakukan secara offline dan online dengan memanfaatkan media sosial dan website. Pengawasan dilakukan dengan cara memantau secara langsung kegiatan pemasaran di SMKN 1 Merangin.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of public relations (PR) management in enhancing community participation at MAN 1 Merangin. The research employs a qualitative approach with a field study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using triangulation techniques. The findings of the study reveal the following: first, the planning of PR management to increase community participation at MAN 1 Merangin is carried out through PR work meetings and providing information to the community about program implementation while identifying community needs. Second, the implementation of PR activities to enhance community participation at MAN 1 Merangin is conducted through the promotion of the school via media channels. Third, PR evaluation at MAN 1 Merangin is conducted using two methods: direct evaluation and quarterly evaluations (before the odd semester, after the odd semester, and before class promotion). The evaluation covers both active and passive participation.

Abstract

Education holds a significant role in the progress of a nation and its communities. Inclusive education is a concept that ensures schools can cater to the needs of all children, irrespective of their physical, intellectual, social, emotional, linguistic, or other diverse conditions. Within the realm of learning, teachers assume the roles of facilitators and motivators, entrusting tasks and responsibilities to students themselves and promoting active engagement in learning. The research was undertaken to investigate the implementation of inclusive educational staff management at SD N 131/IV Jambi City, one of the schools championing inclusion in Jambi City. The findings of this educational institution research underscore a commitment to the principles of inclusive education. This commitment is evident through the provision of relevant training, the acknowledgment of contributions, and the provision of compensation to educators. Moreover, the school's emphasis lies more on the abilities and competencies of teachers rather than their specific educational backgrounds. These practices reflect a positive approach toward fostering an inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of all students.

Abstract

This study examines the principal’s management in fostering community participation at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 1 Merangin, motivated by low parental involvement and limited community engagement in school planning. Despite the presence of school committees and stakeholder forums, participation remains minimal, raising concerns about transparency and accountability. Addressing a research gap in leadership strategies for mobilizing community support in vocational schools, the study employs a qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was tested using source and method triangulation, followed by analysis through data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. Findings show that effective community participation involves engaging diverse stakeholders, such as school committees, parents, alumni, religious and community leaders, youth leaders, village officials, and teachers, in planning and decision-making. Supporting factors include strong stakeholder collaboration, while the main barrier is a lack of parental awareness and interest in school programs. Strategies implemented include stakeholder meetings, majority-based decisions, and formalized decrees by the principal. Theoretically, the research contributes to the development of participatory management models in vocational education. Practically, it highlights the need for stronger communication and collaboration between schools and communities. It is recommended that school leaders enhance cooperation with key stakeholders, particularly the school committee and parents, to improve inclusive and effective school planning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen supervisi pendidikan di SLB Buah Hati Kota Jambi, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, serta hambatan yang dihadapi. Supervisi pendidikan di era sekarang dituntut untuk lebih adaptif terhadap kebutuhan peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus, dengan tetap mempertahankan prinsip pembinaan profesional guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan supervisi di SLB Buah Hati dilakukan secara periodik berdasarkan kalender akademik dan kebutuhan guru, dengan memperhatikan karakteristik peserta didik. Evaluasi supervisi dilaksanakan melalui diskusi reflektif dan tindak lanjut berupa pelatihan serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan tenaga pendidik, kurangnya pelatihan teknis, fasilitas yang belum memadai, dan persepsi negatif terhadap supervisi. Kesimpulannya, manajemen supervisi pendidikan di SLB Buah Hati telah dilaksanakan dengan cukup efektif namun masih memerlukan penguatan di beberapa aspek untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus. Supervisi perlu terus dikembangkan melalui komunikasi terbuka, penguatan kapasitas guru, serta penyediaan sarana pendukung yang lebih optimal.
