Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the EXO OLO TASK Learning Model as a learning model that can develop variative and creative learning activities. This model is also relevant to the 21st century learning skills and Curriculum 2013 learning. This article is a conceptual idea based on underlying theories and concepts and supported by empirical data because it was developed in dissertation research using the ADDIE development model. This model has four syntaxes, namely, 1) strengthening concepts, 2) EXO TASK, 3) OLO TASK, 4) Reflection. The advantages of this learning model are: 1) can develop creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration and higher-order thinking skills of students as the core of 21st century learning, 2) can develop higher quality learning activities and more complete learning experiences, 3) the multilevel and challenging questions is the trigger for the expected learning activity. The application of this learning model can help teachers to answer basic questions about 21st century learning that is "what should students do at class?".

Abstract

The number of visits has an important in the development of tourism objects. This research purposed to know the development of the main tourist objects in West Sumatera based on the number of visits using the theory by Buttler 1980 with the Tourism Area Life Cycle (TALC) model.The methode of this research is descriptive. The sample is the main tourist attraction in West Sumatera based on the number of local tourist visits. The type of data analysis used secondary data analysis through TALC models with exploration, involvement, development, consolidation, stagnation, decline levels, and the rejuvenate stage. Data sources used are secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).The results of this research in five-years (2012-2016), the development of the number of visits to the main tourism objects in West Sumatera: a) Bukittinggi City and Padang City are at the development stage, b) Padang Panjang City and Sawahlunto City at the decline stage, c) Pariaman city at the stage of stagnation, and d) Payakumbuh City and Solok City at the rejuvenate stage

Abstract

The aims of this article are to improve the ability of teachers and students to create interactive learning media and improve the understanding and ability of teachers in pedagogic aspects that can be seen from the process of designing a Lesson Plan (RPP), especially in terms of choosing a model or method and learning media. . This activity was carried out at SMAN 5 Pariaman and at SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis, Padang Pariaman using training methods, question and answer and practice. The participants involved are geography teachers and students who are represented in each class with 5 participants. With the Covid-19 Pandemic and the appeal from the government to comply with health protocols by checking temperature, washing hands, using hand sanitizers, maintaining distance, and wearing masks, this activity is carried out with limited participants, so that Covid-19 does not become the newest cluster in the region. activity. These activities include conducting training related to the design of effective learning media and conducting training related to the manufacture of interactive learning media for the cycle of hydrology and layers of the atmosphere for geography teachers and students. The results of the training at SMAN 5 Pariaman and at SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis, Padang Pariaman, were in the form of 3D media and increased the abilities possessed by teachers and students in making learning media, in this case, the 3D media of the cycle of hydrology and layers of the atmosphere. From this training, teachers get an increase in their ability to understand pedagogical aspects which can be seen from the process of designing lesson plans, especially in terms of choosing models and learning media. Geography teachers also better understand adequate competence in terms of designing and utilizing media so as to create quality, effective and interactive learning.

Abstract

The spatial distribution of populations and settlements is in line with connectivity and accessibility within a city area. Delineation of Batusangkar City exists in 3 sub-districts and 6 Nagari, causing settlement concentration in certain areas will form a certain distribution pattern and different settlement, the occurrence of diversity patterns distribution as a form of uneven population distribution. So that information is needed regarding changes in land use and patterns of settlement distribution concerning land use in urban planning. This study aims to discover the changes in area and distribution patterns of settlements. This research method is quantitative descriptive using secondary data and then analyzed using the nearest neighbor analysis. The results of the study showed the change in the distribution of settlements to areas close to public facilities such as offices, schools, and universities. Batusangkar City area has a Pureisolated type pattern, while based on the Alvin L. Bertrand category it has a Line Village Community pattern, then based on the calculation of the nearest neighbor analysis it is categorized as Clustered

Abstract

Konsep saintifik dikenal dengan 5M; 1. Mengamati/ observing, 2, menanya/ questioning, 3. Mengumpulkan informasi/ mencoba (experimenting), 4. Menalar/Mengasosiasi (associating), dan 5. Mengomunikasikan (communicating). Pentingnya pembelajaran saintifik ini karena produk pendidikan dasar dan menengah belum menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu berpikir kritis setara dengan kemampuan anak-anak bangsa lain. Disadari bahwa guru-guru perlu memperkuat kemampuannya dalam memfasilitasi siswa agar terlatih berpikir logis, sistematis, dan ilmiah. Tantangan ini memerlukan peningkatan keterampilan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan ilmiah. Skenario untuk memacu keterampilan guru menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang optimal salah satunya dengan model discovery learning. Model Discovery Learning di terapkan pada guru-guru di SMA se- Pasaman Barat, dimana model ini mengacu kepada teori belajar yang didefinisikan sebagai proses pembelajaran yang terjadi bila pelajar tidak disajikan dengan pelajaran dalam bentuk finalnya, tetapi diharapkan siswa mengorganisasi sendiri. Abstract

The increasing rate of population growth in urban areas has an impact on environmental imbalances, especially related to the expansion of residential areas. The purpose of this study was to identify slum areas and illegal / wild areas (squatter areas) based on indicators and parameters for each region. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with population is all sub-districts in Padang City with total sampling. Slum area and squat mapping results in Padang city area are scattered in 7 villages in 5 sub-districts. Abstract

Dalam rangka menambah wawasan dan kreatifitas masyarakat khususnya bagi ibu rumah tangga petani kakao melalui metode penyampaian materi dan cara pengolahan biji kakao secara teknis diharapkan ibu rumah tangga dapat memahami dan menerapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Saran nantinya adalah petani kakao ini bisa menciptakan kreatifitas dari pengolahan dari biji kakao dan dapat dipasarkan khususnya di Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Dan juga disarankan agar petani di jorong Ampaleh ini dapat menjadikan pusat sebagai sentra tanaman kakao di Sumatera Barat serta bisa memiliki pabrik pengolahan cokelat sendiri, karena pengoperasian pabrik cokelat juga bisa mengurangi biaya pengeluaran petani dalam menjual hasil panennya lebih baik. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan lapangan yang terjadi pada masyarakat Rumah Tangga Petani kakao di Kabupaten Tanah Datar, maka dalam program ini diberikan Pelatihan Pengolahan Produk Biji Kakao Melalui Pengembangan Produk Hilir di Kabupaten Tanah Datar oleh beberapa orang instruktur dalam bentuk ceramah, simulasi proses pengolahan biji kakao menjadi produk hilir. Dan kegiatan ini telah meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang potensi pasar hilirisasi produk kakao, diharapkan mampu adanya peningkatan nilai tambah produksi, dapat melakukan pengembangan produk biji kakao, mampu melakukan pengemasan produk dan pemasaran produk dan mampu melakukan proses pengolahan biji kakao menjadi produk jadi.

Abstract

Perkembangan penduduk secara kuantitas dapat dilihat dari perubahan komposisi penduduk terutama berdasarkan kelompok umur. Kecenderungan di dunia saat ini menurut laporan PBB mengenai populasi dunia 2013 (United Nation, World Population Ageing 2013 ) berdasarkan kelompok umur terjadi penurunan jumlah anak-anak di dunia saat ini karena penurunan kematian dan fertilitas. Tulisan ini melihat perubahan signifikan dalam proses perubahan komposisi penduduk terutama berdasarkan kelompok umur di Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, yang menggambarkan perkembangan struktur dan komposisi penduduk di setiap kabupaten di Provinsi Sumatera Barat pada beberapa periode waktu. Bentuk piramida penduduk kabupaten-kabupaten di Sumatera Barat dari tahun 1990, 2000 dan 2010 cenderung mengalami sedikit perubahan yaitu dari ekspansif menuju konstriktif. Penduduk kabupaten-kabupaten di Sumatera Barat merupakan penduduk transisi dari umur muda bergerak menuju umur transisi. Hal ini ditandai dengan umur median yang tergolong intermediate (usia 20-29 tahun). Tidak ada satupun kabupaten di Sumatera Barat mendapatkan bonus demografi

Abstract

Abstrak Sumatera Barat termasuk salah satu wilayah yang memiliki kerawanan bencana yang tinggi, kondisi ini dipengaruhi oleh tatanan geologi yang kompleks sehingga rawan dengan bencana geologi gempabumi. Arsitektur Rumah Gadang sebagai produk kearifan lokal yang bernilai mitigasi, merupakan sarana untuk mempertahankan dan melestarikan nilai luhur kebudayaan. Terjadinya gempa bumi di Sumatera Barat yang meluluhlantakkan sebagian daerahnya khususnya Padang dan Pariaman, masyarakat diingatkan kembali akan kemampuan rumah Gadang untuk bertahan dari sifat destruktif gempa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kearifan arsitektur rumah gadang minangkabau dalam mitigasi bencana. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengkajian data deskriptif dalam bentuk uraian melalui metode naturalistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: arsitektur rumah gadang Minangkabau sebagai kearifan lokal dalam mitigasi bencana merupakan suatu karya arsitektur yang seimbang dan disesuaikan dengan iklim alam yang tropis dan geologi yang labil.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana faktor internal yang berperan dalam pemilihan mata pelajaran Geografi pada pelaksanaan UNBK di SMA Kota Padang (2) bagaimana faktor eksternal yang berperan dalam pemilihan mata pelajaran Geografi pada pelaksanaan UNBK di SMA Kota Padang (3) Faktor determinan antara faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang berperan dalam pemilihan mata pelajaran Geografi pada pelaksanaan UNBK di SMA Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan penelitian ditentukan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling sehingga diperoleh informan sebanyak 23 peserta didik, 10 orang tua dan lima orang guru di SMA Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal yang berperan dalam pemilihan mata pelajaran Geografi pada UNBK di SMA Kota padang adalah motivasi, bakat dan cita-cita serta faktor ekternalnya adalah peran orang tua dan guru. Untuk faktor determinan yang berperan dalam pemilihan mata pelajaran Geografi pada pelaksanaan UNBK di SMA Kota padang adalah faktor internal. Kata Kunci : Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer, faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Abstract This study aims to determine (1) how internal factors play a role in the selection of Geography subjects in the implementation of UNBK in High School of Padang City (2) how external factors play a role in the selection of Geography subjects at UNBK implementation in High School of Padang City (3) Determinant factors between internal factors and external factors that play a role in the selection of Geography subjects at the UNBK implementation in High School of Padang City. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Research informants were determined using snowball sampling technique so that 23 informants, 10 parents and five teachers in High School of Padang City were obtained. The results showed that internal factors that play a role in the selection of Geography subjects at UNBK in High School of Padang City are motivation, talents and ideals and external factors are the role of parents and teachers. For determinant factors that play a role in the selection of Geography subjects on the implementation of UNBK in High School of Padang City are internal factors.
