Abstract

The problem faced by farmers in Samarinda is the difficulties to know the condition of the chili plants when they are away from home or from the garden. Often times the farmer commutes from home to the garden just to monitor the condition of the plants, which reduces work effectiveness and takes a long time. Therefore, in this study a tool was made to measure soil moisture, temperature and soil pH based on the Internet of Things. The process of monitoring soil pH, soil moisture, and air temperature in chili plants using soil pH sensors, soil moisture sensors, and soil temperature sensors as well as Wemos / Arduino for data processing and sending analog data to the ANTARES platform. The result of this research is that soil condition data can be sent and read in real time through the ANTARES web application. Tool testing was carried out at 30 different locations in the city of Samarinda.

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi pada era modern ini memiliki peran yang penting dalam melakukan banyak pekerjaan antara lain dalam dunia pendidikan dengan mengembangkan teknologi informasi dalam hal ini sebuah sistem informasi diharapkan dapat mempermudah  suatu pekerjaan. Proses inventaris barang perlengkapan praktek pada laboratorium selama ini masih menggunakan pendataan secara manual dengan menggunakan metode pembukuan yang seiring berkembangnya waktu ternyata memiliki beberapa keterbatasan bagi dari segi media maupun pengelolaan data. Sistem informasi inventaris laboratorium dengan berbasis website diharapkan menjadi salah satu solusi yang dapat di aplikasikan guna untuk mempermudah dalam pengelolaan peralatan praktek laboratorium jaringan komputer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem informasi berbasis website dengan menggunakan PHP sebagai Bahasa pemrograman dengan menggunakan framework Laravel untuk membantu pengelola laboratorium dalam memudahkan dalam pendataan, pencarian data, dan monitoring status peralatan laboratorium apakah habis terpakai atau sedang di pinjam oleh pengguna laboratorium jaringan komputer

Abstract

Dalam perkembangan teknik printing salah satu teknik modern yang sering digunakan adalah dengan screen printing. Meningkatnya kebutuhan kaos dengan desain custom untuk keperluan instansi, komunitas dan kampanye membuat usaha screen printing kian menjamur. Didalam produksi sablon, pelaku usaha screen printing hanya akan memproduksi sesuai dengan jumlah pesanan. Namun permasalahan umum yang sering dihadapi pelaku usaha screen printing adalah keterbatasan stok bahan produksi jika terjadi banyak pesanan, dimana pesanan tersebut terjadi musiman dan tidak dapat diprediksi. Peramalan pesanan dimasa mendatang sangat berpengaruh bagi pelaku usaha sablon dalam mempersiapkan kebutuhan bahan-bahan produksi dan manajemen produksi. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi jumlah pesanan dimasa mendatang dengan menggunakan algoritma prediksi Single Exponential Smoothing sehingga memudahkan pelaku usaha screen printing dalam menentukan jumlah produksi kaos sablon dimasa periode tahun mendatang.

Abstract

Kemajuan pesat dalam teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah mengubah banyak aspek kehidupan modern, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. AI, yang merujuk pada kemampuan sistem komputer untuk melakukan tugas-tugas yang memerlukan kecerdasan manusia, menawarkan potensi besar untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk masa depan yang lebih digital. Meskipun AI semakin sering digunakan dalam pendidikan, penerapannya masih belum merata di semua institusi pendidikan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, pelatihan AI di SMK TI Pratama PGRI Samarinda dirancang untuk memperkenalkan dan mengimplementasikan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini menggunakan alat-alat AI seperti ChatGPT, Canva AI Art Generator, dan Gemini, dengan fokus pada peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam desain grafis, pembuatan video, dan proyek multimedia. Melalui pendekatan yang mencakup teori, praktik, dan evaluasi, pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memastikan pemahaman yang mendalam dan penerapan yang efektif dari AI. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan, dan kreativitas siswa, serta mempersiapkan mereka untuk menghadapi tantangan dan peluang dalam dunia kerja yang semakin berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Education for Special Needs Children (SNC), particularly those on the autism spectrum, requires unique and tailored teaching methods due to significant differences in their learning processes compared to typical children. The use of appropriate teaching tools and media is essential to help children with autism better understand learning materials, including Chemistry lessons in inclusive schools. One promising approach is the development of learning tools based on computer vision technology. This technology can assist SNC students and teachers in teaching chemical concepts through three-dimensional objects, making the teaching and learning process more effective and engaging. This research aims to integrate real objects with virtual elements in Chemistry learning environments at inclusive schools using augmented reality (AR) and image-tracking technology. The learning process will occur in real-time, enabling students with special needs to interact more intensively with the subject matter. The long-term goal of this research is to evaluate the positive impact of AR on improving SNC students' learning outcomes in Chemistry. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the application of AR technology in Chemistry education at inclusive schools, enhancing inclusivity and effectiveness in the learning process.

Abstract

Handil Bakti Village, Palaran District, Samarinda City is the oldest village in Palaran District, Samarinda City, Handil Bakti Village. The Indonesian government distributes assistance to the lower class community to help ease the burden in daily life. The assistance programs are the Hope Family Program (HFP) and Non HFP. Information and data about the Hope Family Program (HFP) and Non-HFP communities in Handil Bakti Village are very important so that the assistance provided can be right on target and poverty reduction can be achieved. Therefore, it is necessary to have the role of an information system to identify underprivileged communities and poor household data, so that the assistance distributed can be right on the intended target. One of the identification information systems that can be used is the Geographic Information System (GIS). GIS is very efficient in terms of storing, manipulating, analyzing, and displaying geographic data with the help of spatial data and attribute data. From the explanation above, the authors create a system, namely a geographic information system for the Hope Family Program (HFP) and Non HFP data whose purpose is to make it easier for various parties to access information on community data for the Hope Family Program (HFP) and Non HFP anytime anywhere via the internet, because the web can be accessed easily via desktop and mobile devices

Abstract

Presenting geographic data information by using a GIS (Geographical Information System), GIS is an organized series of hardware, software, geographic data, and personnel designed to efficiently obtain, store, update, manipulate, analyze, and display all forms of geographically referenced information. The difficulty of finding the location of the Farmers Group the Department of Agriculture of the City of Samarinda, it is very important to know the location, especially when the service will hold agricultural counseling for faster delivery of information, therefore an appropriate use of technology is needed to provide accurate information. The purpose of this study is to provide convenience to users in finding locations, finding routes to locations, and other information about farmer groups and their lands in the city of Samarinda. Based on the case studies in this study, it can be concluded that the author will build a web-based geographic information system for mapping farmer groups and their lands in the city of Samarinda.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop an Android-based employee attendance monitoring system that can assist the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of East Kalimantan Province in monitoring employee attendance, recapitulating employee attendance, and timely submission of attendance reports. The objective of this research is to simplify employee attendance monitoring and expedite the recapitulation of employee attendance lists at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of East Kalimantan Province. The system development method used is the prototype model. This method consists of five stages: Communication, Quick Plan, Modeling Quick Design, Construction of Prototype, and Deployment Delivery & Feedback. The result of this research is a web-based information system for Administrators and Direct Supervisors to process data and monitor employee attendance, and an Android-based system for employees to record their check-in and check-out times. In the Android-based system, employees can also input attendance with various remarks such as early leave, absence, sick leave, personal leave, business trips, and external duties. The blackbox testing in this research shows that the system functions as expected, and the betabox testing results in a score of 89.60%.

Abstract

One of the most crucial industries in Indonesia for supplying its population with food is agriculture. Numerous factors need to be taken into account in agriculture, particularly the area that will be planted, including soil pH, potassium (K), phosphorus (P), sodium (N), and moisture. Farmers must employ instruments to assist in assessing the soil's condition. There is a concept that can be used to check and monitor soil conditions by utilizing hardware and software that communicates with the internet. This concept is called the Internet of Things. This research applies Internet of Things concept to monitoring soil conditions and control irrigation pumps and provide watering recommendations based on sensor data. The system used in this study consists of a sensor node and a pump node. Based on the test results, the sensor can effectively transmit data to Thingsboard, display the data on a mobile application, and provide watering suggestions. Farmers don't always follow the system's suggestions since they rely on the local weather conditions

Abstract

Dalam era perkembangan teknologi yang cepat dan globalisasi yang semakin luas, pendidikan di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) menghadapi tantangan untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence atau AI) telah muncul sebagai sebuah alat potensial yang dapat merevolusi metode pembelajaran dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Namun, untuk berhasil menerapkan AI dalam kurikulum SD, para pendidik memerlukan pemahaman dan pelatihan yang memadai. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan latar belakang dan implementasi pelatihan penerapan AI dalam konteks pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Daarul Hijrah Al-Amin, Samarinda. Melibatkan para guru sebagai peserta utama, pelatihan ini berfokus pada memperkenalkan konsep dasar AI dan memberikan panduan praktis tentang cara mengintegrasikan teknologi ini ke dalam metode pembelajaran yang sudah ada. Harapannya, pelatihan ini akan membantu para pendidik dalam menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang adaptif, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu siswa, dengan demikian, mendorong perkembangan keterampilan dan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi signifikan dalam pembaruan pendekatan pembelajaran di tingkat SD dan menciptakan dasar yang kokoh untuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dalam menghadapi tuntutan zaman modern yang terus berkembang.
