Abstract

This article is written to explain i) the concept of fitrah and khalifah from Hasan Langgulung's perspective, ii) Hasan Langgulung's Islamic education thought, and iii) the relevance of Hasan Langgulung's Islamic education concept to the development of human potential in the 21st century. The research method used in this research is qualitative-descriptive with the type of library research, with content analysis and interpretative methods. This research is expected to be the basis for designing progressive educational policies and forming individuals who can face the dynamics of change and challenges of the 21st century. According to Hasan Langgulung, in carrying out his responsibility as caliph, humans are equipped with various potentials (fitrah, human intellect, freedom of will, spirit, qalb, nafs) that need to be developed through education. Langgulung's concept of Islamic education emphasizes the development of human potential through the optimization of human intellect, creativity, the ability to work together, continuous education, and technology in education. Abstract

This study aims to outline various previous research findings related to applying the constructivist pedagogy approach in improving moderate attitudes in educational institutions and explore the potential of the constructivist pedagogy approach to internalize the value of religious moderation in Indonesian education. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review method using the Watase Uake tool and the Google Scholar search engine. The data in this study are articles indexed in Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. The articles were selected using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) technique. After going through the identification, screening, and eligibility process, 48 articles were included in the inclusion stage and analyzed using the meta-synthesis technique. The results of this study show that i) the findings of previous studies indicate that constructivist pedagogical approaches contribute positively to increasing openness and tolerance towards differences and building more appropriate attitudes in understanding diversity; ii) through constructivist activities, egalitarian teacher-student interactions, and inclusive social activities, students can develop a deeper understanding of the values of religious moderation (such as tawassuth, tawazun, tasamuh, musawah, and shura), appreciate the diversity of beliefs, and build openness to differences, so that constructivist approaches in learning have great potential to improve moderate attitudes in religion, especially in the context of Islamic education. The results of this study can positively contribute to the development of curriculum and religious learning methods oriented towards religious moderation in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal and analyze aboutthe future of teachers with Artificial Intelligence (AI), harmony between teachers and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and teacher competence in dealing with Artificial Intelligence (AI). This research method is qualitative research with a library research approach. The data source in this article is research results in the form of journal articles. The research results show that the presence of artificial intelligence (AI) in education brings challenges and opportunities for the future of teachers. Even though AI can replace some routine tasks in learning, the teacher's role remains crucial in guiding, motivating and developing students holistically. Teachers in the future must be able to build an atmosphere that meets the psychological needs of students, including the need for competence, autonomy and involvement in groups. The introduction of artificial intelligence brings about a significant change in the educational paradigm, where personalization of learning becomes more possible and efficient. Even though there is a paradigm shift from a one-size-fits-all model to responsive adaptation, the teacher's role remains central in designing targeted learning strategies. The success of teachers in the future depends not only on mastery of technology, but also on the ability to guide, motivate and shape students' character. Teachers are also faced with the task of facing the Industry 4.0 revolution, requiring a deep understanding of new concepts such as artificial intelligence, IoT and big data. Efforts to increase teacher competency must involve selective recruitment, bottom-up competency improvement, and the application of technology in learning, such as blended learning. Even though technology plays an important role, teachers cannot be replaced because their role as character builders and facilitators of social interaction remains irreplaceable. Therefore, continuing to develop teacher competence is the key to overcoming educational challenges in the era of artificial intelligence.

Abstract

The study on nationalism remains a hot topic today, especially in the field of education, which plays a crucial role in shaping the nation's future generations. This includes Islamic boarding schools, currently numbering over 30,000 with more than 4 million students. In Malang Regency alone, there are over 600 pesantrens, signifying the potential impact of students as the nation's future generation and the need to focus on their understanding of nationalism. This is particularly relevant as, in 2016, around 19 pesantrens were suspected of teaching radical ideologies. Therefore, there is a need for strategies to teach nationalism using different approaches. This research utilizes a qualitative descriptive approach with a multi-case study involving three pesantrens: Pesantren Raudlatul Ulum 1, Pesantren Modern Al-Rifa'ie, and Pesantren An-Nur al- Huda. The analysis reveals diverse approaches in the strategies for instilling nationalist values, including integrative, contextual, and collaborative approaches. These involve various activities, ranging from delivering materials on Pancasila and citizenship, studying the Idzatun Nasyiin book, engaging in social service and philanthropy, to participating in national flag ceremonies such as on August 17 and National Santri Day. However, the implementation of these strategies faces challenges, such as a lack of understanding of nationalism, a shortage of discipline among students, and limitations in facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Aswaja Study Program in shaping the religious character of class XI students at SMK Islamic Qon Gresik. With a qualitative approach and case study method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed four stages with source triangulation for validity. The results showed significant improvement in four aspects of students' religious character: awareness of worship (prayer consistency, ritual participation), moral improvement (courtesy, respect for differences), development of tolerance (inclusive interaction, dialogue between groups), and transformation of religious understanding (spiritual internalization, social care). Success is supported by institutional support, quality of teachers, discussions, case studies, field trips, student enthusiasm, and relevance of materials. Obstacles include differences in basic understanding, inconsistent attendance, limited method innovation, and lecture saturation. Implementation strategies include interactive routine studies, exemplary teachers, integration of values in the curriculum, and collaboration with extracurricular activities. Globally, this model indicates that the internalization of moderate religious values (tawassuth, tasamuh, tawazun, i'tidal) has the potential to be an effective strategy in strengthening adolescents' religious character, preventing radicalism, and enriching moderate religious literacy. This model is worth adapting in vocational and general education institutions in Muslim countries as well as global communities facing the challenges of intolerance and extremism. This research examines the impact of the Aswaja religious studies program, which matches your interest in education and religious programs
