@PanagiotisZois: I am so sorry, I did not see your earlier reply! I had no idea you had replied. I am so glad you nominated it for FAC! I have left a comment - to be honest, I do not really have any comments for improvement and I think it is ready for FA, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! I hope you create more characters that I can review. Also yes, I do watch a lot of soap operas! Do you watch any? During COVID and a bit later, I used to watch a few Greek soaps with family members, but not any more.

I did watch the first 30~ episodes of Beyond the Gates, which is a fun show. I decided to take a break, but I'd like to continue it later on.

I had considered watching EastEnders, primarily because of Bellum, but then I read Ben left last year. Same with Neighbours; that show's been cancelled again, which also killed my interest in starting it. PanagiotisZois (talk) 17:54, 28 July 2025 (UTC)

Apologies that we're a little late, sometimes this newsletter takes us when we need to go instead of when we want to go. In this edition you'll find everything that you need to keep you updated on things going on around the project as well as within the Whoniverse. Am I a good (or featured) man Wikipedia article? Since last Newsletter, many new GAs have been added to the Project. These include every individual episode in Doctor Who series 15 and a number of fictional characters, including Belinda Chandra, the companion of Series 15. A full list of Good promoted content can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Doctor Who#Articles with Good Article status. So far, we've promoted 33 GAs this year, and we're on track to beat our previous record of GAs promoted in a year (36 in 2012). An audio vinyl release of The Moonbase, of which two episodes are missing, is expected to be out in September. New action figure sets taking on the appearance of Fourteenth Doctor and the Meep became available in June. Mattel also collaborated with the BBC to create Barbie dolls taking on the appearance of the Fifteenth Doctor and Belinda, first making their appearance in May at MCM Comic Con. Doctor Who will also once again have a presence at the 2025 San Diego Comic Con, featuring photo-ops and other new exclusive products. Hey! Thank you so so so much for saying that, that means a lot! :) I am very glad that you are making an article for Angela Harris as she is in need of one! I think you have made a great start with it and I am happy to help you with it! Here are my suggestions:

1.) The most important parts of a character article are the casting, development and especially reception sections. Hence, I would recommend expanding these. I am happy to send you some sources to expand the article. Development includes behind the scenes information, interviews with he actress/producers etc about the character and information on her joining the soap and departure etc. For example, I would suggest expanding the bit about her departure in the development section.

2.) I would recommend bringing the sources you have in the lead down into the main article - except the YouTube one as it is not reliable, I would recommend removing it.

3.) Storylines do not need to be sourced and the sources often do not count towards notability, though it is not bad if you do source them.

4.) I would recommend linking the names of the website etc in the sources (e.g. The Daily Mirror and Digital Spy) but this is not urgent and can be done later

Roman Allen / Fowler

Hello Danilo,

I wanted to get in contact to ask for your opinion of the section I previously made and revived for Roman Allen from older revisions. It keeps being removed due to "lack of development and reception" just "sourced plot". I do agree and understand those points however, because he is the son of two regular characters Martin Fowler (James Bye) and Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) and played a key role in Martin's final storyline, I feel he should have a section, but that maybe besides the point.
