Accessibility for everyone

Education technology should enhance learning for everyone, regardless of ability or circumstance.

At Turnitin, we are committed to accessibility. As part of that commitment, we work toward ensuring that Turnitin’s products align with applicable web accessibility laws. In practice, we use third-party accessibility experts to evaluate our products against the WCAG 2.1 AA standard and we share their findings through our product VPATs. We expect to begin testing and striving to substantially comply with WCAG 2.2 AA by the end of 2024 with a goal of making updates in 2025 to address any critical or blocking issues.

Our Approach

Turnitin continues to develop our accessibility program and capabilities so that we are designing, developing, and testing our products for conformance to accessibility standards.

We engage in both internal and external accessibility evaluation and provide our conformance via a date-stamped VPAT available below.
