Heat pumps play an important role in the decarbonization goals of many European countries and, as a consequence, are rising in popularity. This report provides insight into the heat pump market of most European countries using at least one of the following metrics: the number of units sold or produced, the maximum installed capacity of heat pumps in that territory, or the consumption of heat generated by that type of device. After an overview of the European heat pump market, the report is then broken down by European regions to offer geographically specific data.
