The Group has recognized a non-cash exceptional charge of £20.3 million resulting from the partial impairment of the carrying value of goodwill in relation to the US business that was acquired in December 2014. The goodwill impairment charge is a material non-cash item that on the basis of its size and non-recurring nature is considered to be exceptional."
