The majority of Japanese respondents, about ** percent, stated that the state of Japan's economy contributes to some extent to their personal happiness, according to a survey conducted in June 2019 by Ipsos on happiness. Among ** countries in the survey, Japan was among the countries with the lowest share of respondents claiming to gain happiness from the economic climate, outdone only by Germany and Great Britain.
