Want to present in short time? Keep in mind the following points, 1. Try to summarise crucial points for your viewers, which you want to be the key takeaways from the meeting. 2. Cut short the explanation of each points. 3. Try engaging your audience till the end by asking questions, keeping the points short or telling in the form of story. 4. Use more facts, images, charts, graphs and examples that could help viewers to understand the gist of your presentation easily. Hope this helps.

When the presentation time is cut to half. I follow the following steps to present effectively 1. Understand the audience: I understand to whom the presentation is being catered and will omit the additional information I have prepared to share. 2. Intention of the presentation: Try to understand the purpose of the presentation and accordingly delivery the core essence of the topic. 3. Balanced mind : I will try to stay as calm as I can and try to cover the majority of the topics with examples/real life case scenario’s rather than explaining theoretical aspect of the topic. 4. Share the presentation (PPT/Documents) : Share the presentation and other source data used in preparation and ask audience to refer and get back with queries.

As a Soft Skills Trainer, I know this well: It’s important what you say, but it’s more important HOW you say it. Even with limited time, strong voice modulation, expressions, and body language create impact. Focus on Data, it's implications and key takeaways, engage with #confidence, and let #nonverbal cues reinforce your message. A compelling presence makes every second count. Because training isn’t about duration, it’s about transformation! #SoftSkillsTrainer #EffectiveCommunication #PublicSpeaking #ImpactfulTraining #NonVerbalCommunication #Leadership #TrainingAndDevelopment

Getting your time cut short? Yep, it happens more often than you’d like—and I’ve been there more times than I can count. The secret? Plan for it BEFORE you even step in the room or on the stage. I always create quick-hit outlines for multiple scenarios—whether my time gets cut in half or my full-hour presentation suddenly turns into a 15-minute sprint. When you prep for the pivot, you’re not caught off guard. Agility is power. Instead of scrambling, you’ll stay composed, adaptable, and look like an absolute rockstar.
