It's important to have a prepared moderator. One with notes, or the outline provided by the speaker. Aa a speaker myself, I use a printed outline.

I believe the three main tips form the backbone of success in this challenge. What I see are ways to enhance these ideas. For instance, along with visual cues, subtle sound signals could help indicate the remaining time—like a chime at five minutes and another at two. Regarding the timekeeper, agreeing on specific keywords with speakers could discreetly signal if they exceed their limit. A brief rehearsal beforehand would also familiarize speakers with these signals. To avoid overruns due to questions, schedule a separate Q&A session outside the main presentation. A symbolic recognition, like a "Punctual Speaker" badge, could also be a great incentive. I believe these measures, combined with the original tips,can help reduce timing issues.
