Help I just started how do I star reading this book???

Sorry, telling not asking.? In my classroom I had about 6 copies of this book. Kids loved it! My first and second graders used to love it so much they would hide the book in their desks so they could be sure they could have it at silent reading time, which is not really silent in 1st and 2nd grades. The students loved to get in groups and read this book together, laughing as they read it. It's a marvelous book!

I read falling up because I found it lying around and read it. So I begged my mom to buy this! How can I recommend this?

Would you like to gain another great poetry book for children? "Ride a Purple Pelican" by Jack Prelutsky is a wonderful poetry book that children love! The repetition of saying a few of the poems each day is fun and is a great Memory Builder, start with one. These are some of the wonderful poems "Grandma Bear," "Justin Austin," "Timble, Tamble Turkey," "Buntington Bunny," and Riding a Horse with a Strawberry Mane.

Reading poetry to children is very important? One does not have to read the book straight through. Poems can be chosen and read a few at a time. Use the students as a guide. They will let you know which poems they like! Each morning, I started by reading some chosen poems from the book, maybe 4 or 5. Repetition, humor, and memorization are important for children. Increasing memorization is a great learning tool!
