What Jennifer did. This show shook me to my core! I wont spoil anything but its on Netflix and you should definitely watch it! For my second choice I would say the Boston Bombings. Also on Netflix.

“Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey.” All about the infamous Warren Jeffs and his fundamental sect of the Church of Latter Day Saints. Jeffs used religion to justify child marriage, sexual abuse and control over hundreds of women and girls. Jeffs & other selected men twisted religion and mandated women and girls “keep sweet”
by not complaining after their bodies were brutalized. They were also taught to obey their master’s commands. Jeffs himself had over 70 wives and about 60 children. His brides were as young as 12. It’s so disgusting how the victims were treated. Luckily, some got away and were able to tell their stories. Jeffs was eventually captured and was sentenced to life, with a possibility of parole. Hopefully this monster NEVER gets out. 

"One Day in Jonestown" was one of the best documentaries I've ever watched. I knew the basics, but there was so much that I never heard before. I watched it a coupe years ago, but I think it's still on Hulu.

The Betty Broderick Story.  A woman can only take so much before the silicon chip inside her head gets switched to overload.

The Family shows how religion has been used very deliberately to obtain power and wealth in this country. pretty good show. 

Current news reports of Israel's genocide in Gaza. Just to prove it's not all some big conspiracy theory, or that all the kids being shot are not actually Hamas, or that it is not Hamas (and are Israeli soldiers) shooting at people trying to get food, or any other ridiculous mental gymnastics I've heard brainwashed idiots try to justify Israel's actions.

I'll Be Gone in the Dark. Michelle poured so much into trying to bring Joseph DeAngelo to justice and to see her fight wasn't in vain was very bittersweet. He terrorized so many people and reading the book was very upsetting. Knowing what happened to Michelle too while reading added another layer of unsettlement. The docu series did a great job of balancing the case itself and Michelle's life. I'm glad they did a special follow up episode after the news broke he had been caught
