This study addresses the need for effective task scheduling algorithms in cloud computing, a growing domain due to the increasing number of users and tasks. It reviews various scheduling algorithms including Priority Impact Scheduling Algorithm, Balance-Reduce, Adaptive Resource Allocation for Pre-emptable Jobs, and Aggregated-DAG scheduling, emphasizing their efficacy in managing resources efficiently under different conditions. Experimental results indicate that novel scheduling methods can significantly reduce task completion times and enhance system performance, highlighting the importance of adaptive and priority-based approaches in cloud environments.
