On September 2 2014, Roboy will visit SINDEX – The Swiss Technology Trade Fair . Switzerland is an important global technology hub for companies from the automation, electronics and machine and plant construction sectors, which once again hosts a large, biennial trade fair: the SINDEX, an exhibition of the Swiss technology industry. The next SINDEX will take place from 2 to 4 September 2014 on the Berne exhibition grounds.

We had a great team event last friday with over 30 persons that are involved in the development of Roboy and organizing Robots on Tour. It's fun to see that they are all very motivated!

Additional support from maxon motor. The engineers from maxon motor will develop a specific software for Roboy.

A new projectpartner is on board! Zürich Engineering will develop a flexible spine for Roboy.

Swiss company Ryffel has booked a AI Lab-tour for January 11 2013 with all its employees and will get an exclusive insight into the developement of Roboy.

The Swiss children's television show Zambo is interested in Roboy: A camera crew will follow the assembly of Roboy's torso.

The maxon motors tablet magazine “driven” is available now from iTunes and Google Play Store . In this issue: An exclusive video about Roboy, the AI Lab and an interview with Prof. Dr. Rolf Pfeifer.

Another sponsor secures one of the popular logo spaces on Roboy’s torso. The company Distrelec supports the project with 5’000 CHF. The project team thanks Distrelec for its’ contribution.

The city of Uster, Switzerland has a heart for Roboy: It supports Roboy with 5’000 CHF. The cities logo will be engraved on Roboy’s torso – near the heart.

The company Sedax participates in the development of Roboy: Sedax will develop Roboy’s head.

The Institute of Biomechanics of ZHAW is the newest member of the project team. With the expert knowledge of biomechanics and with the help of the software Anybody, we will be able to calculate and simulate muscle forces and pressure points precisely.

The project’s team consisting of the AI Lab, Konzeptagentur and awtec starts the project to develop ROBOY. With the support of maxon motor and others we will take on the challenge to develop a new humanoid robot until March 2013.
