THE ELSEVIER GRAND CHALLENGE
The Elsevier Grand Challenge closed for submissions on July 15th, 2008. We received over 70 excellent entries, covering very different aspects of the communication and usage of scientific information. From these, the Panel of Judges has chosen 10 semi-finalists to proceed to the next stage. The selection was based on the criteria delineated on the website, with particular emphasis on innovation and ideas with potential for realization in practice.
