This page is about creating signatures inside of deb-files, that's the format used by debian. It lists the necessary steps how signed debs could be integrated into the standard debian archive.

The latest code is dpkg-sig. It is designed as a general, low-level tool for signing and verifying signature on Debian binary archive files. The created signed packages are strict compatible with dpkg and the apt-utils. The signatures are created in accordance with the policy-draft on this pages.
Please get dpkg-sig from sid/main on any Debian mirror.
