Its performance, depends on strategy employed in reference current generation, control technique and topology of inverter used in the design. In this study, fuzzy logic current control technique was presented for generation of pulse for PWM current control of the three phase inverter. A band pass filter was used in synchronous reference frame algorithm (SRF) for harmonics extraction. The shunt active power filter performance was evaluated with MATLAB/SIMULINK under balanced voltage condition. The result obtained gives good and satisfactory response to mitigate the harmonics in the system.

The PV systems comprises of a PV array, a boost converter, a controller for tracking the maximum power point, and an inverter to power the AC loads. The FLC-based maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is proposed because the technique is not complex and does not need a deep comprehension of the particular model of the system. Furthermore, the technique is efficient and fast response in tracking maximum power (MP) from the PV array. The technique overcame the limitation of the conventional MPPT technique that resulted in slow tracking of the MP and was not accurate on the optimal position of the PV array output power. The main objective of the study is to reduce the volume of water use in car wash and to help to mitigate possible hazard from prolonged chemical response or any potential injury that might occur. In Kuwait, carwash is among the activities that consume a great deal of desalination water. The total intake for washing a single car is from 50-100 gallons of fresh water. The investigation shows that 75% of the water can be filtered and reused. As feed for the final rinse and make-up, an average intake of about 25% of freshwater is required. Due to the challenge in global economy, it is better to apply an automated process in carwash to reduce the human supervision and communication. In this work, PLC was activated according to its set process and used in achieving the automatic carwash system.

This affects the quality of the output voltage that is generated by the photovoltaic modules. To overcome these challenges, an artificial intelligence approach is implemented into the system. The objective of the proposed work is to develop a boost converter to control the output power generated by the photovoltaic modules by increasing the output power. In order to adjust power factor and power for a threephase grid inverter system, the boost converter is integrated with a three-phase inverter that uses the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control approach. Since it's the most important component of any grid-connected system and enables the source generated to feed into the grid, it evolved to control power to the grid. Therefore, the three-phase inverter with PWM control is proposed to optimize the performance of the PV system. A Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) is implemented in the system as an artificial intelligence alternative for a PV system that works rapidly, accurately, and efficiently to track the Maximum Power Point (MPP) under varying weather conditions and solar irradiation. By using the FLC, the constraints that come from conventional technologies could be improved and a better grid-connected photovoltaic system be provided. The proposed PV system is modelled and simulated in MATLAB/Simulink. The simulations results are presented.

A total of 20 representative groundwater samples were collected from different hand-dug wells and analyzed for the major cations, anions, and heavy metals to establish their suitability for drinking and irrigation. Geospatial variation maps of the major cations and anions were produced using the inverse distance weighted algorithm. The results of the respective concentrations of pH, TDS, EC, HCO3−, NO3−, SO42−, Cl−, PO42−, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, Zn2+, Cu+, Pb2+, and As+ except Fe2+ are within the recommended range set by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Nigerian Industrial Standards for Drinking Water Quality (NSDWQ). The disease is considered a neglected viral infection with significant public health and veterinary importance (WHO, 2018). Like many emerging tropical diseases rabies has a worldwide distribution (Figure 1); however, the vast majority of human fatalities are reported in Africa and Asia (Hampson et al., 2015; WHO, 2018). Infected dogs cause the vast majority of rabies cases, and the rural poor communities suffer the most from the disease, with 50% of cases occurring in children (WHO, 2018). Infection is caused by the rabies virus, of the Lyssavirus genus, belonging to the Rhabdoviridae family (Seetahal et al., 2017). For the most part, domestic dogs are the most important reservoir of infection to both humans and other susceptible mammalian species. Nonetheless, in other parts of the world, the virus mostly circulates among wild animals such as bats, raccoons, and other wild carnivores (Velasco-Villa et al., 2008). Rabies is traditionally transmitted when virus-laden saliva from a rabid animal gets in contact with a wound, damaged case report Abstract | This article presents a rare case of rabies in an 11-year-old male Auraki breed donkey (Equus asinus) from Dawakin Tofa Town, Kano State, Nigeria. The donkey was said to have been bitten by a stray rabid dog. Twelve days after the bite, the animal started exhibiting signs of colic, restlessness, grunting sound, recumbency, biting its legs and rubbing around udderagainst objects. The donkey died 22 days following the bites by the rabies affected stray dog; despite the intervention. The head of the donkey was severed and sent to the National Reference Laboratory. The diagnosis was confirmed by the detection of virus particles in the doney's brain by the fluorescent antibody technique. For the other two donkeys attacked by the rabid donkey, no evidence of disease was observed upon examination. Rabies is a highly fatal viral infection affecting most mammalian species, including humans. This case further emphasises the importance of pre and post-exposure immunisation of dogs and the need for dog owners to vaccinate their dogs routinely against rabies so as to limit the risk of transmission to humans and other susceptible animals.

Among the non-economic factors, procedural justice in terms of treatment of the tax authority to the taxpayer has received attention of research. However, there is a scarcity of research on justice perception of the treatment of the tax tribunal in predicting tax compliance behavior. The current study develops a framework of tax compliance behavior based on the social exchange theory to evidence this theoretical gap. The study adds to the body of knowledge by proposing the influence of perception of justice of tax tribunal.
