I just recently had an issue where my files were not synced because i had run out of onedrive storage space so i just got rid of a bunch of unnecessary files sitting around which freed up a ton of space. The files still werent synced so i resett one drive to sync them back up but when i did that it just restored the files i had just deleted. I kept trying over and over again but the same kept happening and now i cant sycn my files. Ive tried everything, restarted my computer. Reinstalled onedrive but its all not working and my files and folders wonf sync. What do i do to fix this?116Views1like2CommentsDate taken option removed!
I’m finding One Drive increasingly frustrating as a photographer as the date taken option has been removed and my files are badly muddled, this option was part of the app for years so why did the developer remove it. Very annoying for professional photo work so bring it back.109Views1like3CommentsSyncing Minecraft Worlds to Onedrive
Hello I am trying to sync my Minecraft "saves" folder to Onedrive. It has all of my Minecraft worlds folders on it. I can upload a copy of it to Onedrive, but I am unsure if the data in the world folders updates automatically as I play in my worlds. Does the data in the world folders update as I play them? How to I sync the "saves" folder to Onedrive (it does not give me the option when I right click. For reference, the saves folder is located at: C:\Users\mixma\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves73Views1like3CommentsUnable to add new Managed Metadata tag to Library items
I have SharePoint Admin permissions. There is a field I'm using called 'Publisher', which is open, yet doesn't allow us to add any new term. The setup looks like this: Within the Global term store: https://<domain>-admin.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/online/AdminHome.aspx?modern=true#/termStoreAdminCenter - Term group -- Term set (Publisher) (Submission policy - Open policy: Users can add terms from a tagging application.) --- Adidas --- Reebok --- Nike Within the Site term store: https://<domain>.sharepoint.com/sites/<Site>/_layouts/15/SiteAdmin.aspx#/termStoreAdminCenter there are no term groups visible. In the Site Documents library: Content types are enabled. I have a Publisher column, associated with most of our content types. There's a default publisher, "Our company". The column settings include "Allow users to type new values". The Issue Regardless of whether I edit in grid view, or in the Details pane, once I click enter, or exit the field, or in the tag menu, the new publisher doesn't save. Users cannot enter a new publisher term. Debugging I have tried toggling term store settings (closed/open). I've tried toggling the "Require that this column contains information" (since it works for similar issue people commonly have with the 'Description' column).144Views2likes5CommentsDownload and Access Issues for External Users with SharePoint “Anyone” link sharing option.
Hi All, We are looking for help resolving a recurring issue with file sharing in SharePoint. All files and folders we share with external customers use the “Anyone” sharing link option (Anyone with the link can access). Despite this, we regularly face these problems: Customers can view files but cannot always download them from the browser (for example, using the "Create a Copy”, “Download a Copy" or "Save as" option in the PowerPoint files). Sometimes, sharing the parent folder (containing the file) link allows the external user to download, even though the file link itself does not. The problem is intermittent and not linked to settings or policies—sometimes everything works, sometimes it does not, even when we generate new links. No restrictive site, library, or organizational policies are applied; “Block download” is not set and full link access is confirmed. Using a private/incognito tab sometimes enables the link to work when it otherwise fails in a normal browser session, but not always. We want to understand why this happens and whether there is an underlying issue, known bug, or additional configuration we should review that could make “Anyone” links unpredictable for downloads with external users. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? If so, how did you resolve it, or are you still searching for answers? We’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and suggestions! Thank you for your advice and support!39Views0likes0CommentsOneDrive changes metadata on files
I'll try to make this brief. OneDrive is not accepting/changing the metadata on my images after edit. What happens is this: 1) I create an image file with keywords in DAM 2) OD uploads correctly. 3) I make a change to the file, e.g. keywords 4) OD uploads OK. Then 5) a minute or two later OD redownloads the file without the keyword edit, reverting to previous version. 6) DAM sees the change, and reverts the keywords. And then I'm in a perpetual loop. I have had 2 MS support cases on this, supplied videos, had screen share sessions and on all occasions, the support agents stop responding either by email or by phone. This is a very worrying issue and I see that others have experienced this over the last few years. I have had to remove my Photo library from OD, work on a local drive and rely on backups. Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this?2.1KViews1like4CommentsPlease tell me how to disable the Pin Copilot message

I wrote a message yesterday but nobody replied, so here's another one so it doesn't get lost Can somebody tell me how to disable the annoying "Pin Copilot Chat" popup? every morning I have to say "Maybe Later" when I really mean to say NEVER IN A THOUSAND YEARS21Views0likes0CommentsOneDrive deleted thousands of my files?
I'm hoping somebody here can help me, because I can't find any kind of "Support" link just for OneDrive. Yesterday, for no reason I can determine, OneDrive (personal) deleted a couple thousand old files of mine and put them in the Recycle Bin. I was not using even half of my 1 TB storage, and I did not delete these files myself. They were in various folders. Some had been accessed very recently, some had not been accessed in years. I looked for the files on the app on my phone, on the website, and by trying to find deleted files through apps on my phone (i.e. I looked for a deleted Excel file and it was not found). They were all different file types - Excel, Word, PDF, pictures. I cannot figure out why it did this, and I haven't been able to find any documentation of a known glitch. Has anyone else had this happen?72Views0likes1Comment
