Development of an interactive e-module of integrated science with the Connected type on energy to... more Development of an interactive e-module of integrated science with the Connected type on energy topic for Junior High School (SMP) aims to develop an interactive e-module of integrated science that includes biology, physics, and chemistry concepts an interrelate unity in energy topics. That expected to strengthen the student concept knowledge. The Research and Development (R & D) design with the Plomp model was employed. Collection data procedures used validation sheets and user responses questionnaires by the validator team, teachers, and students. Assessments involved material substance, learning design, display (visual communication), and software utilization. Data analysis results showed the validation percentage from the material and media experts are 94.99% and 96.96%, with very valid criteria. The research design is a development research (Research and Development) with Plomp’s model. The object of the research is the e-module inter-addictive chemistry magazine based on Kvisoft Flipbook Maker. The data instrument collection is a validation sheet form that is given to four validators and user response sheets to two chemistry subject teachers and 30 students of Senior High School grade XI focusing on Science Class. The data analysis technique is by calculated the percentage score of the validation assessment and user response. This study was carried out about the implementation of the interactive chemistry e-module based o... more This study was carried out about the implementation of the interactive chemistry e-module based on Kvisoft Flipbook Maker on Stoichiometry. The aim of this study was to know the effect of the student self-learning that used the interactive e-module as teaching material. Study method used pre-experiment with pre-post design. Data was obtained through the distribution of self-learning questionnaires with 4 indicators (self-confidence, high motivation, initiative and responsibility) before and after use e-modul at MAN 2 Model in Pekanbaru. The obtained data then analyzed the hypothesis by t-test and N-Gain test. The results showed that there was an increase in students self-learning process in before and after use e-module that is from 50.15% to 88.1%. Magnitude of increase was obtained by N-Gain test that is 0.76, its means the student self-learning was increase in medium category.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using e-modules to improve scienti... more The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using e-modules to improve scientific literacy skills of students. This e-module is designed on atomic structure material. The used method is pre-experimental using one group pretest-posttest only design. Research instrument was involved in a scientific literacy ability test consisting of 10 description questions. Sampling technique was used purposive sampling. Data analysis technique was tested using a paired sample t-test and N-Gain value. From the sample testing, it was obtained a significance value of p<0.05 (p=0.000). This data showed that there was a significant difference between the scientific literacy abilities of students before and after using e-modules. The average value of N-Gain was found that the increase in students' scientific literacy skills was 0.74 with high category. This value is detailed as 0.87 (high) for the context aspect, 0.75 (high) for the knowledge aspect, 0.69 (medium) for the competency aspect and 0.73 (high) for the attitude aspect. Based on the data, it can be concluded that the use of e-modules on the atomic structure material was found to be effective in improving students' scientific literacy skills.

The sample of this study was 115 students of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Riau and the State Islamic University (UIN) Sultan Syarif Kasim in the 6th semester of the 2019 academic year. The results obtained at the validation stage of MFI development were 95% with the valid category. The results of the small-scale test on the one-one test obtained an average percentage of 84.80% which was included in the very practical category. Furthermore, the lecturer response obtained an average percentage of assessment of 90.40% with the LKM category being well used in the learning process. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dengan proses pengembangan mengacu kepada model pengembangan 4-D. Objek penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar yaitu Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis RMS. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah lembar validasi yang diberikan kepada tiga validator, dan dari hasil analisis data diperoleh validitas pada aspek kelayakan isi, karakteristik RMS, kebahasaan, sajian dan kegrafisan berturut-turut yaitu sebesar 95,24%, 95,83%, 98,33%, 97,92% dan 93,75% dengan kategori valid. The research used was a quasi-experimental research design with non equivalent control posttest design. The data collection technique used critical thinking skills questions consisting of 5 essay test questions. Based on the research results of hypothesis testing using paired simple t-test , the results obtained were sig (2-tailed) <0.05, which means that collaborative learning of GI and TPS techniques is effective on critical thinking skills than the control class. Today, in a pandemic situation, the learning system in schools is now being diverted through Dist... more Today, in a pandemic situation, the learning system in schools is now being diverted through Distance Learning (PJJ). The challenge that must be resolved by educators are to present a PJJ concept that is in the line with the free learning policy. The success of education today is largely determined by the approach used, especially for chemistry subjects that have high urgency at the SMA/MA level. One approach that is considered suitable to be applied is the heutagogy approach, integrated with using social media in learning. YouTube can be used as publication media in Project-Based Learning (PjBL). The form of research that used is library research and descriptive analysis methods as technique analysis. This application helps increase creativity because it starts with fundamental questions that encourage students' curiosity. This learning concept can still be used as alternative learning that can increase creativity when this pandemic over.

The research was designed by research design with Plomp design which consist of four (4) steps; (1) preliminary investigation, (2) design, (3) realization, and (4) validation, evaluation, revision. The data are the assessment by the validator teams, teachers and learners’ respondent. The aspects of the assessment which are material substance, educational design, appearance and software. From the research, it gained validation value with score 94,35% from media validator and 88,12% from material validators. User response scores by teachers and learners were obtained 92,7% and 92%, respectively with very good criteria.

The research on implementation of learning strategy to Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Record, Re... more The research on implementation of learning strategy to Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Record, Review (SQ4R) has been done to improve student achievement on the subject of Atomic Structures in class X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru on Agustus until September 2018. Form of the research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, class X MIA 2 as the experiment and class X MIA 3 as control class which randomly selected after had tested normality and homogeneity. Experimental class is a class that implemented Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Record, Review (SQ4R) strategy. Data analysis technique used the t-test. Based on the result of the final data processing t-test formula obtained tcount>ttable (1,86>1,67) means the application of Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Record, Review (SQ4R) strategy can improve student achievement on the subject of atomic structures in class X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.

The method used an action research that consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Responden were students of class XII MIA 7 Senior high school 1 in Pekanbaru. The indicators research was the implementation of chemical elements according to the poster as syntax, student activities during the learning process was able to achieve both categories. The research instrument used question for post test and student activity observation sheet. The results showed that the learning activities using chemical poster elements are at a good stage with achievement, in the first cycle was 60.67% and the second cycle was 68.08%.

Referring to the current era of globalization, which refers the era of revolution 4.0, the use of... more Referring to the current era of globalization, which refers the era of revolution 4.0, the use of today's technology in the learning process can be utilized. One of them is in applying ordinary modules into e-modules. The purpose of this study is the use of e-module stoichiometry based on Kvisoft flipbook maker to see the magnitude of the increase in students' understanding of the concept of stoichiometry. The research design used was a pre-experiment with a pretest-posttest design using one class as an experimental class. The sample in this study were students of the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Pekanbaru class X KI 2. The results obtained were an increase in students' understanding of the concept from before using the e-module based on the koftoft flipbook maker with an average value of 40.2. After using Kvisoft flipbook maker based e-module the average value increased to 92.48. Large increase obtained by 0.83 with the category of moderate increase.

The objective of this research is to develop an interactive e-chemistry magazine for the acid-base course unit. The method used in this research is the Plomp model research and development (R&D) design. This research consists of three phases, (a) preliminary research phase, (b) prototype or development phase, and (c) assessment phase. The result of this research indicates that acid and base e-chemistry magazine is considered to be strongly valid by the content and media experts. The responses from teachers and students regarding the acid and base e-chemistry magazine are very good and very interesting. This suggests that the production of acid and base echemistry magazine meets the decent criteria to be used as interactive teaching materials in the learning of chemistry for the acid-base course unit.

Penelitian dirancang menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D) dengan model pengembangan Plomp. Pengguna terdiri dari tiga orang guru dan 45 peserta didik kelas XI di sekolah SMA Cendana Pekanbaru, SMA 8 Pekanbaru dan MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. Objek penelitian adalah soal HOTS dengan wondershare quiz creator sebagai media display. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi pustaka dan studi lapangan. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan memvalidasi soal HOTS dengan wondershare quiz creator sebagai media display kepada lima orang validator (tiga validator materi dan dua validator media) dan uji coba soal HOTS oleh pengguna. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan skor rata-rata validator materi berdasarkan aspek materi dengan persentase 95,34%, aspek konstruksi 95,20% dan aspek bahasa 93,14%. Menurut validator media berdasarkan aspek substansi materi dengan persentase 84,00%, desain pembelajaran 86,00%, tampilan (komunikasi visual) 84,00% dan pemanfaatan software 88,57 %. Skor respon pengguna oleh guru dan peserta didik masing-masing 90,67% dan 91,20% dengan kriteria sangat baik.
