Definitions
- the invention relates to a new partition comprising plasterboard, which offers improved acoustics.
- Partitions comprising plasterboard, as well as these plates, have been known for many years.
- the partitions are described in particular in the Unified Technical Document DTU 25.41; these partitions are defined as a distribution wall or wall lining, freestanding, non-load-bearing, ruling over the height between floor and ceiling.
- These walls include metal frameworks, generally having a substantially U-shaped profile, for example made of a steel sheet of nominal thickness greater than or equal to 0.60 mm. Appropriate wooden frameworks are also described.
- the partitions include low and high rails (rails) between which are placed uprights. The uprights can be doubled, nested or leaned.
- the DTU in question mentions the partitions obtained with 48 mm uprights and a single facing of plates 12.5 mm thick and the partitions obtained with 48 mm uprights and a double facing 12.5 mm thick plates.
- the invention makes it possible to solve the problems mentioned above.
- the invention therefore provides a partition comprising a plurality of uprights and a plurality of plates on each side, in which the unit spaces delimited by the uprights and the plates are divided into 3 to 1000 volumes per m 2 , and preferably at least 6 volumes per m 2 .
- the unit spaces are delimited by strips glued on one side of the set of plates, preferably having a thickness less than the interval between the plates, the unit spaces forming
- the unit spaces are divided into 200 to 1000, and preferably 200 to 600, volumes per m 2 .
- the unit spaces are divided by a network, this network being glued at most on one side of the set of plates, having a thickness less than the interval between the plates.
- the network has a thickness of 70 to 98% of the interval between the plates.
- the network is a honeycomb network.
- the network is made of cardboard.
- the unit spaces are divided by a network, this network not being glued to the set of plates.
- the plates are plasterboard.
- the partition comprises top and bottom rails holding the uprights and between which the network is maintained.
- the top and bottom rails include pre-cut tabs which can be folded inwards and are inserted into the network.
- the invention also provides a method of manufacturing a partition according to the invention, comprising providing a plurality of uprights and a plurality of plates, and dividing the unit spaces delimited by the uprights and plates.
- the method is intended for the manufacture of a partition, in which the unit spaces are divided into 200 to 1000, and preferably 200 to 600, volumes per m 2 , by a network not being bonded to the set of plates according to the invention, the partition comprising top and bottom rails holding the uprights and between which the network is maintained, in which process the network is attached to one of the rails, the network is extended up to 1 'another rail and it is fixed on the latter, in particular by folding up precut tabs present in the rails to insert the latter into the network.
- FIG. 1b is a second variant of a first embodiment
- Figure 2 is a second embodiment
- Figure 3 is an enlargement of a rail used in the second embodiment.
- the partition 1 comprises a plurality of uprights (2a, 2b), here metallic, which support plasterboards 3.
- (4a, 4b) block the amounts, in a conventional manner. Between the uprights are arranged strips (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) of expanded polystyrene, blocked between the uprights. These bands thus divide the unit spaces delimited by the uprights and the plates.
- the air gap here 48 mm
- the interval between the plates can be divided in several ways, for example with Z-bands or any other arrangement.
- the thickness of the strips is typically less than the thickness of the air space, for example 40 mm to 46 mm.
- the polystyrene strips are preferably held by blocking between the uprights. It would however be possible to glue them to one side of the plates, or even both if the thickness allows (the latter method of installation is however not preferred).
- the strips are strips of Polystyrene. Other types of strip, for example metal strips or strips of material with open or closed porosity bring the same phenomenon.
- the uprights are metallic uprights of 48 mm conventionally spaced 60 cm apart.
- the bands used are 1000 x 50 x 40 bands; there are approximately 3.5 volumes per m2.
- the bands used are bands of 560 x 100 x 46; there are approximately 6 volumes per m2.
- the respective gains of these partitions compared to the partitions according to the prior art are 2 and 4 dB.
- the partition 1 comprises the same uprights (2a, 2b), plasterboard 3 and top and bottom rails (4a, 4b) blocking the uprights.
- a network 6 here honeycomb.
- any type of elementary cell network of any kind in particular a substantially oblique, substantially square, substantially rectangular or substantially hexagonal, would be acceptable.
- a cardboard network will be used with advantage, of the type already used for the lining partitions which include a sandwich of two plates and a cardboard honeycomb in between.
- the network extends between the top and bottom rails, between the uprights. It is possible to choose a network such that once unfolded it substantially fills the space between the uprights.
- Such a network tolerates height variations of a few tens of cm very well without losing its effectiveness.
- This network thus divides the unit spaces delimited by the uprights and the plates.
- the thickness of the network is typically less than the thickness of the air space, for example 40 mm to 46 mm.
- This network is preferably independent of the two plates (ie it is not stuck on any plate). It is advantageously "stretched" between the top and bottom rails, but it could also be stretched or compressed between the uprights, or glued to one of the plates.
- the uprights are metal uprights of 48 mm conventionally spaced 60 cm apart.
- the network used has a pitch of 55 mm and a thickness of 40 mm. There are approximately 500 volumes per m2 (number of cells in the network per m2). The gain compared to the partitions according to the prior art is 5 dB. The number of cells per m 2 varies according to the inverse of the grid pitch square. It would be entirely possible to envisage an arbitrary cell network, with a pitch comprised, for example, in the interval 40 to 100 mm, which would correspond approximately to an interval of 200 to 1000 volumes per m 2 .
- the top or bottom rail (4a, 4b) has pre-cut tabs (7a, 7b) which are foldable inwards and thus fit into the network (reference 7a indicates the folded tab while that the reference 7b in dotted lines indicates the tongue before folding).
- these rails provided with these tabs, it is easy to manufacture partitions according to the invention. In one first insert the folded network into the rail, for example high, then fold the tabs inward. This has the effect of keeping the network in this rail. Then, one “tends” and one “unfolds” the network towards the other rail, and one proceeds as previously with the folding of the corresponding tabs of this rail.
- Such an embodiment is very simple, robust and effective.
- the material used for the plates can be cement or plywood, as is known in the art.
- tests have shown that it is possible to use strips of metallic material or of material with open or closed porosity, rather than polystyrene, to divide the unit spaces delimited by the uprights and the plates. .
