Claims (9)
- 적색, 녹색, 청색 및 백색 서브 화소로 이루어진 단위 화소를 포함하는 표시 패널과;
상기 단위 화소에 백색 화상이 표시되도록 제1 및 제2 구동 기간을 교번하여 구동하는 패널 구동부를 구비하며,
상기 패널 구동부는
상기 적색, 녹색 및 청색 서브 화소 중 2개의 서브 화소와 백색 서브 화소가 상기 제1 구동 기간 동안 구동되도록 제1 백색 단위 데이터를 생성하고,
상기 제1 구동 기간에 비구동된 서브 화소를 포함하는 적어도 3개의 서브 화소가 상기 제2 구동 기간 동안 구동되도록 제2 백색 단위 데이터를 생성하는 패널 구동부를 구비하며,
상기 제1 구동 기간에 비구동되고 상기 제2 구동 기간에 구동되는 서브 화소의 구동 트랜지스터의 문턱 전압의 변동량에 따라 상기 제1 및 제2 구동 기간이 설정되는 평판 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 표시 패널이 유기 발광 표시 패널이며,
상기 패널 구동부는
상기 제1 구동기간 동안 비구동된 서브 화소의 구동 트랜지스터의 문턱 전압을 센싱하여, 센싱된 문턱전압 데이터와 기준 문턱 전압 데이터의 차이와, 제1 및 제2 임계값 각각을 비교하여 제1 및 제2 백색 구동 신호를 생성하는 센싱 데이터 처리부와;
상기 제1 백색 구동 신호에 응답하여 상기 적색, 녹색 및 청색 서브 화소 중 1개의 서브 화소가 블랙 화상을 표시하도록 하는 상기 제1 백색 단위 데이터를 생성하고, 상기 제2 백색 구동 신호에 응답하여 상기 제2 구동 기간 동안 백색 서브 화소가 상기 블랙 화상을 표시하도록 하는 상기 제2 백색 단위 데이터를 생성하는 화소 데이터 처리부를 구비하는 평판 표시 장치. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 센싱 데이터 처리부는
상기 제1 구동기간 동안 비발광하는 서브 화소의 구동 트랜지스터의 문턱 전압을 센싱하여, 센싱된 문턱 전압 데이터와 기준 문턱 전압 데이터의 차이가 제1 임계값을 초과하면 제2 백색 구동 신호를 생성하고,
상기 제2 구동 기간 동안 발광하는 서브 화소의 구동 트랜지스터의 문턱 전압을 센싱하여, 센싱된 문턱 전압 데이터와 기준 문턱 전압 데이터의 차이가 제2 임계값 미만이면 제1 백색 구동 신호를 생성하는 평판 표시 장치. - 삭제
