Description

The present invention relates to a piece of furniture having the features of the preamble of patent claim 1.

In the WO 2018/129572 A1 a guide system is shown by means of which two hingedly connected door leaves can be moved between a first position in which the door leaves are aligned essentially coplanar to one another, and a second position in which the door leaves are aligned essentially parallel to one another. In the second (parallel) position, the door leaves can be retracted into a lateral insertion shaft of the furniture body. If the door leaves are moved from the retracted position in the insertion shaft to a position outside the insertion shaft, it can happen that the door leaves are tilted too early in relation to a side wall of the furniture body in a transition area between guide rails running transversely to one another due to the application of manual force. In extreme cases, this can lead to the door leaves becoming jammed in the furniture body and continued movement of the door leaves is not possible. The jam can only be released by moving the door leaves backwards. This jamming exposes the door leaves and the fittings of the guide system to strong mechanical stress.

The WO 2016/081963 A1 discloses a guide system for two hingedly connected door leaves, wherein a first door leaf is coupled to a carriage and the other door leaf is hingedly mounted on a support. Two guide rails running at right angles to each other are provided to guide the door leaves. A guide roller is rotatably mounted at the front end of the guide rail extending into a shaft, which facilitates the transition of the carriage in an area between the two guide rails. The disadvantage of this is that the door leaves cannot contact the guide roller, so that the door leaves can collide with a side wall of the furniture and/or with each other when moving into the shaft.

The object of the present invention is to provide an improved piece of furniture of the type mentioned at the outset while avoiding the disadvantages discussed above.

This is achieved according to the invention by the features of patent claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.

According to the invention, it is provided that at least two deflection elements are provided for supporting the door leaves at least in a transition region between the first and second guide, wherein the deflection elements prevent a collision between the furniture body, in particular the side wall of the furniture body, and/or a panel arranged thereon and at least one door leaf in the transition region.

In other words, at least two deflection elements are arranged in the transition area between the first and second guides, preventing premature pivoting of at least one door leaf in the transition area. This ensures that, starting from a position in which the door leaf is aligned substantially parallel to the side wall of the furniture body, the door leaf can only be pivoted relative to the side wall after it has been fully extended, and can then be moved into a position that conceals the furniture body.

According to one embodiment, at least one of the deflection elements can be mounted so that it can move, preferably rotate. The deflection element can be rotationally symmetrical, for example, as a rotatable roller.

At least one of the deflection elements can be arranged on a mounting part connected to the side wall, wherein it is preferably provided that a position of the deflection element relative to the mounting part can be adjusted by at least one adjustment device. The adjustment device can adjust the position of the deflection element such that at least one door leaf can be slidably supported on the deflection element, preventing jamming of the deflection element with the door leaf.

The deflector element can be arranged either on the furniture body, in particular on the side wall of the furniture body, on a mounting part to be connected to the furniture body, on a door leaf or on a panel movably mounted on the furniture body. The panel is designed to at least partially cover a gap located between the side wall of the furniture body and the at least one door leaf. Preferably, the panel is pivotably mounted about a vertically extending axis in an installed position.

The deflection element can have at least one convex deflection contour for sliding support of the door leaf. This allows for improved control of the beginning, course, and end of a pivoting movement of the door leaf in the transition area.

Fig. 1a shows a perspective view of a piece of furniture 1 with a furniture body 2 and door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b movable relative thereto. The door leaves 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b are guided by a guide system 5 between a first position, in which the door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b are aligned substantially coplanar to one another, and a second position, in which the door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b are aligned substantially parallel to one another, are movably mounted. In the second (parallel) position, the door leaves 3a, 3b can be inserted in a first direction of movement (M1) into a lateral receiving compartment 8a of the furniture body 2, while the two other door leaves 4a, 4b can be inserted into a further receiving compartment 8b in the parallel position to one another. The mode of operation is explained below using the door leaves 3a and 3b, with the same explanations applying to the other door leaves 4a, 4b. The guide system 5 comprises a first guide 7a with a longitudinal direction (L), wherein a guide carriage 6 connectable to the second door leaf 3b is mounted so as to be movable along the first guide 7a.

Fig. 1b shows the furniture 1, where the door leaves 3a, 3b starting from the Fig. 1a shown coplanar position into an angular position to one another. The first guide 7a is designed to guide the door leaves 3a, 3b along an end face 2a of the furniture body 2. The first door leaf 3a is mounted via two or more furniture hinges 10 on a support 11 which can be pushed into the receiving compartment 8a in the first direction of movement (M1), ie in the direction of the depth of the furniture body 2. In the figure shown, the support 11 is in a transfer position in which the support 11 adjoins the first guide 7a in the longitudinal direction (L), so that the guide carriage 6 can be transferred back and forth between the first guide 7a and the support 11. In the transfer position shown, the carrier 11 is releasably locked to the first guide 7a, whereby the locking between the first guide 7a and the carrier 11 can be released by the guide carriage 6 entering or onto the carrier 11. The carrier 11 is designed in the form of an elongated column, the length of which corresponds to at least half the height of the door leaves 3a, 3b. The two door leaves 3a, 3b are articulated to one another about a vertically extending axis via at least one hinge fitting 9. The second door leaf 3b is mounted so as to be movable along the first guide 7a via the guide carriage 6.

Fig. 2a shows the furniture 1 with the door leaves 3a and 3b, which are now aligned parallel to each other. The support 11 has been unlocked by the entry of the guide carriage 6 from the first guide 7a, so that the support 11 (together with the guide carriage 6 and the door leaves 3a, 3b) can move in the first direction of movement (M1) along a second guide 7b ( Fig. 3 ) can be inserted into the receiving compartment 8a. Preferably provided that the first guide 7a and/or the second guide 7b is or are formed on a guide rail.

Fig. 2b shows the furniture 1 with the door leaves 3a, 3b, which are now in a fully inserted state in the receiving compartment 8a. The door leaves 3a, 3b are thus guided by the guide system 5 from a first position according to Fig. 1a , in which the door leaves 3a, 3b are aligned substantially coplanar to each other, and a second position according to Fig. 2b , in which the door leaves 3a, 3b are aligned essentially parallel to each other and can be accommodated within the receiving compartment 8a. In this way, for example, a Figures 2a, 2b The kitchen 12 shown can be completely covered, so that the kitchen 12 can be visually separated from the remaining area of a living space. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the receiving compartment 8a is formed by a side wall 13a and a partition wall 13b spaced parallel to the side wall 13a, wherein the door leaves 3a, 3b can be inserted in a parallel position to one another in the first direction of movement (M1) between the side wall 13a and the partition wall 13b.

Fig. 3a shows a perspective view of the piece of furniture 1 with the furniture body 2, wherein the first door leaf 3a is hidden for the purpose of a better overview. The first guide 7a is arranged on the furniture body 2, through which the door leaves 3a, 3b can be guided along the end face 2a of the furniture body 2. At least one second guide 7b is arranged on the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2, through which the door leaves 3a, 3b can be guided along the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2. In the exemplary embodiment shown, two second guides 7b are provided on the side wall 13a, spaced apart from one another in the vertical direction, wherein the support 11 (together with the door leaves 3a, 3b) is movable along the second guides 7b. Two or more spaced-apart furniture hinges 10 for pivotably mounting the first door leaf 3a are provided on the movable support 11. The second door leaf 3b is articulated to the first door leaf 3a via at least one hinge fitting 9.

The guide system 5 has at least two deflection elements 15a, 15b for supporting the door leaves 3a, 3b in a transition area located between the first guide 7a and the second guide 7b. The deflection elements 15a, 15b provide Collision between the furniture body 2, in particular the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2, and at least one door leaf 3a, 3b in the transition area is prevented. In the illustrated embodiment, the deflection elements 15a, 15b are attached to the side wall 13a in a region close to the floor and in a front region of the side wall 13a.

Fig. 3b shows the Fig. 3a circled area in an enlarged view. Two rotationally symmetrical deflection elements 15a, 15b can be seen, preferably in the form of rotatable rollers, wherein an inner side of the first door leaf 3a can roll on the first deflection element 15a and an inner side of the second door leaf 3b can roll on the second deflection element 15b. The deflection elements 15a, 15b are fastened to the side wall 13a via a mounting part 14, wherein the mounting part 14 engages under the two door leaves 3a, 3b. The deflection elements 15a, 15b are rotatably mounted on a base part 19, wherein a position of the deflection elements 15a, 15b relative to the mounting part 14 can be adjusted by at least one adjusting device 16.

In the illustrated embodiment, the adjustment device 16 has two clamping screws 17a, 17b, wherein the base part 19 is adjustable relative to the mounting part 14 by at least one linear guide 18a, 18b, 18c when the clamping screws 17a, 17b are loosened, and wherein the base part 19 is fixed relative to the mounting part 14 when the clamping screws 17a, 17b are tightened. When the door leaves 3a, 3b are pulled out of the lateral receiving compartment 8a (which is formed by the side wall 13a and the partition wall 13b), the first door leaf 3a is spaced apart from the side wall 13b by abutting against the first deflection element 15a. Since the second door leaf 3b is connected to the first door leaf 3a via the hinge fitting 9 and to the guide carriage 6, the second door leaf 3b is also spaced from the side wall 13a when pulled out of the receiving compartment 8a. A pivoting movement of the furniture hinges 10 for supporting the first door leaf 3a is only possible once the door leaves 3a, 3b have been completely moved out of the receiving compartment 8a of the furniture body 2.

Fig. 4a-4c show the movement of the door leaves 3a, 3b out of the lateral compartment 8a in a top view and in chronological sequence. In Fig. 4a are located The door leaves 3a, 3b are in a parallel position, in which the door leaves 3a, 3b are inserted into the lateral receiving compartment 8a. The deflection elements 15a, 15b are located between the two door leaves 3a, 3b. Visible are the clamping screws 17a, 17b of the adjustment device 16, by means of which the position of the deflection elements 15a, 15b relative to the door leaves 3a, 3b can be adjusted.

In Fig. 4b the support 11, on which the furniture hinges 10 for the movable mounting of the first door leaf 3a are arranged, is located near its extended position in relation to the second guide 7b ( Fig. 3a ). However, the deflection elements 15a, 15b continue to hold the door leaves 3a, 3b in a position spaced from the side wall 13a, whereby a pivoting movement of the furniture hinges 10 is prevented by the first door leaf 3a resting against the deflection element 15a. Only when the door leaves 3a, 3b have been completely moved out of the lateral receiving compartment 8a is a pivoting movement of the first door leaf 3a possible about an axis running vertically in the assembled position ( Fig. 4c ).

Fig. 5a shows a deflector element 15a, which is arranged on a panel 20 to be attached to the furniture body 2. This deflector element 15a can be used in addition to the Figures 3a, 3b , 4a-4c shown deflection elements 15a, 15b are provided.

The deflector element 15a is in Fig. 5a together with the panel 20 is pivotally mounted about a rotational axis 29, preferably about a rotational axis 29 which runs vertically in the assembled position. The panel 20 is designed to form a gap 31 ( Fig. 6a ), particularly when the door leaf 3a is in a fully inserted position in the receiving compartment 8a. The cover 20 has a first web 20a and a second web 20b projecting transversely, preferably substantially at right angles, from the first web 20a. Preferably, the first web 20a and the second web 20b of the cover 20 have different lengths.

The panel 20 is pivotally connected to a fitting part 22 to be fastened to the furniture body 2, in particular to the side wall 13a, wherein the panel 20 is The force of an energy accumulator 21 (in particular a tension spring) is applied in the direction of a position covering the gap 31 (i.e., constantly in the direction of a covering position). The deflection element 15a has a preferably convex deflection contour 23, which can interact with the door leaf 3a. In this case, too, the deflection element 15a is designed to prevent a collision between the door leaf 3a and the furniture body 2 and/or the panel 20 when the door leaf 3a is pulled out of the receiving compartment 8a.

Fig. 5b shows a perspective view of an exemplary furniture hinge 10 for pivotably supporting the door leaf 3a on the support 11. The furniture hinge 10 has a first stop part 24 for attachment to the support 11 and a second stop part 25 for attachment to the door leaf 3a. The furniture hinge 10 can be designed as a multi-joint hinge with at least five, preferably at least seven, joint axes. The furniture hinge 10 has a movably mounted control element 27, preferably in the form of an articulated lever, with a guide 30, preferably in the form of an elongated hole, wherein a pin 26 of the furniture hinge 10 is slidably guided in the guide 30 of the control element 27. In this way, a movement of the control element 27 is coupled to a movement of the furniture hinge 10. The control element 27 is provided with a control cam 28 which interacts with the aperture 20, whereby the aperture 20 can be moved about the rotation axis 29 in a temporally and kinematically controlled manner.

Fig. 6a shows a plan view of a door leaf 3a arranged between the side wall 13a and the partition wall 13b, which is thus partially located in the receiving compartment 8a of the furniture body 2. The cover 20 with the webs 20a, 20b running at right angles to one another is fastened to the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2 via the fitting part 22. The cover 20 is pivotally mounted about the axis of rotation 29 and can be brought into engagement with the control cam 28 of the control element 27 of the furniture hinge 10 during the extension movement of the door leaf 3a. By means of the cover 20, in particular by means of the first web 20a, a gap 31 located between the side wall 13a and the door leaf 3a can be covered at least in part. In a position covering the gap 31, the first web 20a of the panel 20 is aligned substantially perpendicular to the side wall 13a. The furniture hinge 10 with the control element 27 is arranged on the support 11, wherein the support 11 can be moved along the second guide 7b. The deflection element 15a with the deflection contour 23 is spaced vertically from the control element 27, so that the deflection element 15a can be contacted not by the control element 27, but by the door leaf 3a.

If the door leaf 3a is now pulled out of the receiving compartment 8a, the cover 20, in this case the second web 20b of the cover 20, is contacted by the control cam 28 of the control element 27. In this way, the cover 20 is pivoted about the rotation axis 29 by the control element 27 of the furniture hinge 10, as shown in Fig. 6b is shown. Due to the pivoting movement of the panel 20, the deflector element 15a is also moved about the rotation axis 29, whereby the deflector contour 23 of the deflector element 15a contacts the door leaf 3a and thus a collision between the door leaf 3a and the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2 is prevented.

Fig. 7a shows a continued extension movement of the door leaf 3a from the receiving compartment 8a. The door leaf 3a can be slidably supported on the deflection contour 23 of the deflection element 15a, thereby preventing a collision between the door leaf 3a and the side wall 13a and/or the panel. The control element 27 with the control cam 28, on the other hand, can be slidably supported on the panel 20, whereby the panel 20 can be pivoted together with the deflection element 15a about the rotation axis 29.

Fig. 7b shows a further position of the door leaf 3a, which can only be pivoted relative to the side wall 13a after it has been completely pulled out of the receiving compartment 8a. The first web 20a of the panel 20 is aligned essentially parallel to the side wall 13a in this position. Following the Fig. 7b In the position shown, the door leaf 3a can be moved into a position that conceals the furniture body 2 ( Fig. 1a ) are moved. In order to prevent an undesired return movement of the diaphragm 20 - caused by a force of the energy accumulator 21 - it can be provided that the diaphragm 20, in particular the first web 20a of the diaphragm 20, starting from the in Fig. 6b shown position up to the position in which the door leaf 3a covers the furniture body 2, is always supported on the control cam 28 of the control element 27 of the furniture hinge 10.
