This research study summarizes the loan evaluation method known as credit scoring.Credit scoring ... more This research study summarizes the loan evaluation method known as credit scoring.Credit scoring is a technique that helps banks decides whether to grant credit to applicants who apply to them or not.The main objective of the research was to evaluate credit risk in commercial banks of Pakistan using credit scoring models.The requirement of credit scoring models by commercial banks of Pakistan to assess the creditworthiness of individuals was described. A credit scoring modelwas developed called as Credit Scoring Model for Individuals (CSMI), which can be used by commercial banks to determine the creditworthiness of individual borrowers requesting for personal loans. The CSMI was explained along with a detailed look at different credit scoring models. The results of the developed credit scoring model were compared with the other statistical credit scoring techniques known as logistics regression and discriminant analysis. Type I and type II errors had been calculated for all the credit scoring models used. The results shows that the proposed model "CSMI"has more accuracy rate with no errors as compared to LR and DA.Also, several suggestions for further research were presented.

Keeping in view the significance of empowerment and that it has an impact on employee perception towards service quality and customer perceived service quality, this research was designed. The sector chosen for study what the banking sector of Pakistan. The research was based on a sample size of 400 out of 200 Which respondents were frontline employees working in different banks of Lahore and Pakistan specifically and the remaining 200 questionnaires were filled by customers getting the services from those frontline employees. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the big five personality tr... more The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the big five personality traits and work engagement among public sector university teachers of Lahore. The subjects of the study were 399 teachers, 237 male and 161 female. They were selected randomly from all public sector universities of Lahore. In this study, Big Five Inventory (BFI) was used to measure various dimensions of personality (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience). The instrument used to measure engagement was the Utrecht Work engagement Scale (UWES), which includes three subscales: vigor, dedication, and absorption. Extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience were found to be positively related to work engagement. Neuroticism was negatively related to work engagement. Multiple regression analysis showed that personality traits of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience have significant effects on work engagement. However, the strength of relationship between big five traits and work engagement was not very strong (R-squared = 0.28).

The research takes place in PT BPR Sungai Puar, Kabupaten Agam. This model tries to evaluate the credit risk of BPR Sungai Puar. Design/methodology-The data are considered as secondary sources as they are taken from the BPR Sungai Puar database by classifying them into two analysis tools i ncluding discriminant analysis and logistic regression. Results-The results are presented in form of model and credit scoring perfection on PT BPR Sungai Puar Kabupaten Agam.
