The study aims to evaluate the financial skills and financial independence of these students and investigate whether financial skills significantly influence their financial independence. Employing a descriptive correlational method, this study explores the relationship between financial independence and various predictor variables, including age, college major, financial skills, and financial knowledge. The stratified sampling technique was utilized to determine the number of respondents needed for the study. Many of the students, particularly those in the Financial Management program, demonstrated a high level of financial skills, while students in the Psychology program exhibited moderately high financial skills. Notably, approximately 73% of Psychology students achieved a commendable degree of financial independence, outpacing their counterparts in Financial Management. This suggests that a substantial majority of Psychology students have attained satisfactory and selfsustaining financial autonomy. Only a small proportion of students exhibited low levels of financial skills, with most displaying either high or moderately high proficiency. Proficient financial skills, however, had no correlation with the achievement of satisfactory levels of financial independence. Based on the provided data and p-values, the study leads to the conclusion that financial skills do not exert a statistically significant effect on financial independence among 2nd-year Financial Management and Psychology students. The null hypotheses (Ho) cannot be rejected.

Therefore, the researchers conclude that allowance frequency is not a significant factor in savings allocation. This emphasizes the need for practical financial education to bridge the gap between knowledge and saving behavior.

The researchers made use of impact evaluation type of research. This type of research provides useful information in analyzing a particular program, intervention or social problem being addressed. In this study, the overall effects to the beneficiaries were assessed and evaluated. The respondents of the study were the 26 families beneficiaries of the extension programs specifically residents of Malhacan in Meycauayan City. The effect of the community extension programs to the community is measured through a multiple response questionnaire. There were eleven (11) indicators that measured the effectivity of the programs. Respondents were asked to identify the effects of the community extension programs to the community. Based on their responses, the community extension programs of MCCOEO helped in promoting health and wellness among the residents. The results indicates that the programs are effective at different levels and extent as shown by the mean scores. Meycauayan College strives to contribute to the development of competent professionals who can make a positive impact in their respective fields and in society as a whole. This means that the beneficiaries of the MCCOEO programs should be studied, planned, and organized. Programs should be based on the needs of the community.

In consideration of the belief that education promotes societal and economic development of an individual, educators and policymakers should collaborate in the efforts of bringing education to the people, including its indigenous communities. Indigenous communities preserve their traditional education sans innovation, sans technology; thus, limiting their opportunities. In tribal education, knowledge is gained from first-hand experience and then transmitted or explored through ritual, ceremony, art, and appropriate technology. Tribal education, in this context, becomes education for "life's sake" (Cajete, 2006). This study aimed to improve the education of the Dumagats in Norzagaray, Bulacan by designing and developing a specialized curriculum. The research was constructed as a case study of the educational practices of the Dumagats of Norzagaray, Bulacan using the ethnographic techniques of observation, document collection, and recording of conversations and interviews. Data included the results of the interviews: unstructured and semi-structured covering content areas on literacy history and intergenerational practices, literacy acquisition and learning, literacy use in everyday life, adult education, employment needs, and literacy use in daily life.

Today, teachers in general are being asked to improve their educational practices including methods, pedagogy, content knowledge, and research capability. The success or failure of the students performance is basically dependent on the kind of instruction students receive from their respective teachers (Punongbayan, 2015). The researcher utilized the descriptive correlational method of research. According to Nieswiadomy (2008), a correlational research design is used to describe the statistical association between two or more variables. The interest is examining the teachers research capability, emotional intelligence, and instructional supervision as determinants of teachers performance in Augustinian Higher Educational Institution.A validated semi- structured questionnaire was used as a primary data gathering t...

The course and school selection decision will most likely define their future success. The paper was aimed at assessing the students? course and school preference using a descriptive research design. A survey was administered to respondents totaling 2,231 comprised of grade 12 students enrolled in La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) during the second semester of school year 2017-2018. Findings revealed that Accountancy, Education and Hotel and Restaurant Management were the three courses most preferred. However, LCUP was not the top school of choice among respondents. Seven out of ten most preferred courses are current offerings at LCUP, three of which are board courses. The provision of a more intensive internal marketing program is suggested. Likewise, a study on the impact of programs and services and their influence on career and school selection decisions may be conducted to determine which program or service made available to senior high students singly or in combination are determinants of their retention. Follow-up research on the reasons why students choose a course or a school may be also be considered.
