The method use in this research is qualitative method and to analyze the no novel is using the content analysis. The approach of this research is use literary feminist criticism. The Color Purple is a novel which loads the problem of women in year 1982. In the novel described that the women as the second class in the society. As the second class, they always get the oppression and violation from the men. That was described from Celie and Nettie characters in the novel. Besides, the novel loads the Feminism Movements. The concept of feminism in that novel is Radical feminism movement. The movement of radical feminism in that novel described from Celie, Sofia, Nettie and Shug Avery struggle. Because of their struggle, they could get the happiness and whatever their wants such as education, wealth, and love. The radical feminism in The Color Purple novel described as the individual movement in the society.
