Faktor ini mempengaruhi keterpilihan seorang calon legislatif dalam pemilihan umum tahun 2014 di Kabupaten Klungkung khususnya Dapil Nusa Penida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana faktor figur menjadi pengaruh terpilihnya seseorang sebagai anggota legislatif. Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah mengapa faktor figur dapat mempengaruhi keterpilihan anggota legislatif Partai Gerindra di DPRD Kabupaten Klungkung pada pemilu 2014. That is, because the election can not be denied in addition to requiring figures, intellectuals, also takes charge. The tendency is then driven by a ban on civil servants, military, police and politics since the reforms initiated. This success encouraged the expectation that the next number of employers who will be ruler of the greater. Some key findings in this paper, as analyzed in several phenomena: First, the recognition that entrepreneurs are middle class people who are needed to fill the vacancy of the public that in the past many occupied by civil servants, military and police. Second, the employer is considered to have more opportunities and capability compared with other community groups to win political support as well as in managing the administration of the state. The goal of current research was to evaluate the behavioral adjustments of African lion Panthera ... more The goal of current research was to evaluate the behavioral adjustments of African lion Panthera leo in different sized enclosures. A group of African lions was observed at Lahore Zoo having one solitary lion, one breeding pair and a pair of siblings that was correlated with group of the same composition at Safari zoo Lahore. The frequency of different behavior patterns displayed by these lions was studied at both study sites for three hours once a week by instantaneous sampling method for 16 weeks, from 18th April to 8th July in 2014. The frequency of stereotypic behavior including auto mutilation, refusal of food stuff, feces licking, unnatural aggressiveness, pacing, head tossing was more periodic in lions housed at Lahore Zoo (site 1) in contrast to lions at display at Safari zoo Lahore (site 2). The frequency of natural behavior was periodic in African lions housed at Safari zoo Lahore. In the present study stereotypic behavior in lions represented here as a tool to measure the level of comfort at housing sites. This behavioral display also defines the safety of these groups of lions kept in distinct captive environment. This is evident that the quality of lodging environs and area range had solid connection with frequency of various normal and abnormal types of behavior in captive animals.

This research uses quantiative-description method by structural interviewing as the primary data. The choice of the method is to ensure the validity and accuracy of data to investage and to understand the problem. The finding of this research is that development of the tourism service facility at Ungasan Village is very paradoxical. On one side brings the prosperity of the society, but on the other side results the margialization of the society toward their ownership of the land right. The impact of the policy at this village is difficult prevent to the rise of new local powers, and the society do not have power defends the ownership of their land right. This study discussed the accountability of CSOs, specifically the accountability network. This st... more This study discussed the accountability of CSOs, specifically the accountability network. This study used the theory of social networks and interactions to find out a classification of CSO accountability patterns in Bali. This study also used qualitative data with a case study strategy at two CSO loci in the Tabanan and Jembrana Regencies. The data were collected through several layers of activities, namely preliminary studies by distributing simple survey questionnaires, confirming the survey entries through the Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and extending of the substance through interviews. In general, it was found that the practice of accountability network in these two areas did not work. The CSOs did not feel the need to be accountable, particularly in their financial statements. The funding issue made the CSOs' movement limited. Many CSOs were formed only with the organizational motives, but without the strong network. The emergence of the large number of CSOs is supported by the social fund assistance from the government in the effort to mitigate the impact of the disaster, particularly near to the general election period. This study also found the human resource constraints in the management of the CSOs.

Berbicara LSM atau Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat tidak akan pernah lepas dari perbincangan mengenai gerakan Organisasi masyarakat sipil (OMS). Hal tersebut, disebabkan antara Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM) dan Organisasi Masyarakat Sipil (OMS) memiliki kedekatan perspektif yakni pemberdayaan masyarakat dan demokrasi sebagai instrumen penggeraknya. Oleh karena itu, dalam iklim demokrasi salah satu jalan yang ditempuh oleh gerakan masyarakat sipil untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dengan cara mendirikan lembaga swadaya masyarakat/LSM. Dalam pandangan ini biasanya LSM dianggap merupakan salah penggerak dan penguat dari gerakan Organisasi Masyarakat Sipil atau OMS itu sendiri.
