The situational instruction shall create and ensure the frame for situational learning that is focused on the ideas to achieve knowledge and skills in real and immediate contexts. The theory of educational space says that the educational action is optimized by a permanent control of all variables existing in the instruction field. These two paradigms have got advantages and limits, but we can affirm that it's necessary a holistic point of view entirety of the implied factors.

The student teachers for Preschool and Primary School, need to develop specific abilities and skills. These can lead to the integration of future teachers in a modern school based on communication. In order to know the students' theoretical and practical knowledge, and to identify the importance of the communicative competence for them, we administered a questionnaire survey on a sample of 58 undergraduated students of PIPP specialization, from the 3rd year of study. We wanted to find out which would be the ways to make the communication efficient.

Children's basic education is given here and school only gives it the final shape. In order to emphasize the importance the school-family relationship has in the pupils' intellectual and social-emotional development, we have conducted a study in which III, rd grade children' parents from the educational alternative Step by step were involved. In order to improve these situations we have run a program called Together for our children's success, during the experimental phase, in which we approached 8 topics. We also saw the need to organize certain programs of parent education, not only at the level of a single educational institution, but at a national level. The parents' interest for this type of program is motivated by the pupils' growth of school performance, their development and social integration as well as by the development of social-emotional skills.

Therefore, the research direction of our study focuses on how early education teachers can integrate the principles of slow education into the development of child-centered competence. The formation and development of the child’s early ontogeny personality occur at the natural pace of development and learning rather than in an accelerated manner. While preparing for the research, we reviewed relevant articles circumscribed to the same topic: slow, child-centered education, deep learning, constructivism, and the enthusiasm of children and teachers. Most of them conclude that the use of child-centered competence in early childhood significantly contributes to slow education principles and characteristics. At the same time, the research aims to provide quantitatively and qualitatively validated arguments for verifying the inciden...

In our opinion, digital storytelling is an emerging teaching strategy because it is characterized by novelty elements; compared to classic storytelling, there is a relatively rapid increase in interest in it and has a strong impact in the context of online or/and onsite learning. Teachers can choose and create digital stories according to students' interests. At the same time through digital storytelling, students can make sense of their own life experiences, their own knowledge and teachers get to know them better. The first part of our study presents a theoretical review regarding the usefulness of digital storytelling in Early Childhood Education. The second part shows the results of the research we have made in order to sustain the theoretical information. The purpose of our study is to identify the extent to which kindergarten educators use digital storytelling in the teaching and learning process and, at the same time, if they are aware of the importance that this strategy has for doing child centredness. In order to accomplish this, we created a questionnaire with different types of items and applied it to a number of 160 subjects, who teach in urban and rural kindergartens. By using this research tool we aimed to find answers to the question research Does Digital Storytelling promote child centredness?

Although there are persons who criticize homework, in school practice these are seen as facilitators of learning and achieving school performance by most teachers and parents. In this study we aim to analyze the advantages and limitations of homework, based on questionnaires survey that measure teachers' perception of the importance, volume, typology, purposes, degree of difficulty, time spent and parental involvement of homework in primary education. We considered significant for this study our own didactic experiences, peer group discussions and the studies that focus on the positive and negative influences produced by homework on academic performance and school results of primary school pupils.

These programs represent an important branch of the educational system in Romania. In the study that we have initiated we have tested and validated the hypothesis that identifying professional training needs and offering specific courses in order to develop the professional competencies represents a key condition for teachers’ effectiveness in terms of their professional learning and development. The methods and instruments for educational research that we used in the present study are both qualitative and quantitative, based on questionnaires, individual interviews and focus group interviews. The reason why we opted for the mixed methods is because quantitative research throughout questionnaires does not always allow participants to explain their choices or the meaning of the questions. The q...

Those who agree with this, are sustaining that a lot of children who are living in the country, don`t graduate the kidergarten, so they are going in the first class without having the basic skills and knowledge. The others sustain that the educational spaces are not suitable for the little ones. Here comes the importance of outdoor education that refers to the learning activities that the teachers organize with his students in different spaces for developing social abilities, emotional and moral skills. For curriculum of the preparatory class, these type of activities can be organized in the Mathematic and Exploring the Nature, Communication in Romanian Language, Vizual Arts and Manual Crafts and Music and Moving. All these lead to the developing of the well-known eight key-competences. The outdoor education is very important i...

If migration was considered to be a major problem in Romania, especially after the 1990s, the return to the native country led to the emergence of a new challenge, the reintegration into society of the returned families . One of the most important aspects, with serious consequences in some situations, is the adaptation of the remigrant children to the requirements of the Romanian society and school. In order to identify the problems of integrating the re-migrant children, we initiated a quantitative study on a sample of 90 pupils, their parents and the teachers of the class they are in. The main research method was the questionnaire survey. The data were quantitatively and qualitatively interpreted in order to establish some directions of intervention on these children. Respondents included in the study provided valuable answers to the research undertaken so that the consequences of re-migration could be established...

Through play he develops social, emotional and cognitive skills. The value of play is recognised by researchers because of the intellectual achievement and emotional well-being. From all types of play, unfortunately, free play is the least used in the daily program in kindergartens and primary schools in most of the European countries. When the child is free to play, he develops all his personality traits during it. He learns how to communicate with peers, to act or react in different situations, to respect some rules, etc. All these reasons determined us to study the most important theoretical approaches and data about free play and to initiate a theoretical study concerning a critical analysis of using free play in early childhood and primary school education in Romania. The aims of the study were to define and to list some of the most important characteristics of free play, to highlight the advantages and limits of this type of play and to encourage practitioners to use it in their educational program in kindergartens and primary schools. Even if there are a lot of benefits of free play, and children enjoy it, this type of play has been replaced with structured activities, based on teaching. All these, due to the fact that in preschool, teachers have to prepare children for school requirements, providing academic skills.

Through this study, we intend to make the psycho-pedagogical profile of the native digital student and to identify proper ways for adapting the teaching process to this profile.

The changes required by National Education Law, are obvious towards continuous education, and in particular, by the introduction of the preparatory grade in the primary school. In this context, it was entailed the establishment at national level, of some continuous education training modules that focus on the specific of the preparatory grade such as: integrated curriculum, the evaluation procedures or the acquirement of new methodology skills. Blended-learning programs have as their starting point and the experiential and afford the trainee viable solutions for continuous education, combining classical learning types of with online learning, so that face to face meetings to establish challenges for online courses, where the time management becomes very important. Our study covers a sample of 150 teachers trained through a blended-learning program and its main purpose was to find out the standpoint they have through the desirability of the program and the actual needs required by the implementation of the preparatory grade. The answers provided by respondents were interpreted and analyzed so that we can offer suggestions to improve these programs, given the novelty of their implementation in adult education in Romania.
