The present study is to investigate the effect of ceramic membrane coating with titania (TiO 2) a... more The present study is to investigate the effect of ceramic membrane coating with titania (TiO 2) againts the performance of photovoltaic cell using electrolyte solution KI/KI 3 and carbon as an electrode under sunlight irradiation.The aim of titania coating by sol-gel method is in order to minimize pore size and simultaneously decreasing I 2 diffusion. Effect of membrane coating was observed in correlation to the cell performance. Change in concentration after process was determined by using UV-Vis spectroscopy method. From the results of the current measurement and the stability determination of photovoltaic cell can be concluded that the membrane with five times coating repetition shown the best results compared to other membranes with Imax 296 µA. Otherwise the lowest absorbance will indicate that this membrane has the best performance in blocking iodine molecules from KI 3 solution.

Diagnostic that we develop in this study was four-tier diagnostic test. the diagnostic test consisted of 25 questions which cover 20 indicator in chemical bonding materials. From the test result obtained the higest was in a determine the bonding that consist in the compound (39,45%) and the lowest misconception was in a interpret the process in chemical bonding formation process (1,83).

This study was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Tambang in academic 2018/2019. This research was a Quasi-experiment with pretest and posttest design. Purposive sampling technique was used, and it was obtained two sample classes—the tenth-grade students of class MIA 2 (experimental class one) and MIA 3 (exsperimental class two). Research on new university student misconceptions about bond in NaCl compounds has been done to i... more Research on new university student misconceptions about bond in NaCl compounds has been done to identify possible misconceptions. Student misconceptions are observed using a misconception analysis instrument consisting of statements accompanied by right and wrong choices and open reasons. Based on the analysis of the instrument that has been done found that the students experience the concept of ionic bonding in the compound NaCl. Students experience misconceptions why NaCl is an ionic compound. In addition, misconceptions are also found about the physical properties of the associated NaCl compounds, ie students believe that NaCl is a compound with a brittle bond and no breaking of bonds in NaCl solution and NaCl has electrolyte properties in solid phase.

The method used is quasi experimental design. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique. The sample in this research is XI IPA 4 as the control class and XI IPA 6 as the experimental class. Data collection techniques in this study is observation. Data were analyzed using t-test assisted by software SPSS 25.00 for windows software. The results of data processing obtained the value of t count = 9.546 and t table = 1.933 with a significant level of 0.000 (sig <0.05). With the invention of conductive polyacetylene in the 1970s, conducting polymers have received significant attention from both science and engineering communities. This culminated in 2000 when the Nobel Prize was awarded to Alan J. Heeger, Alan G. MacDiarmid, and Hideki Shirakawa for their discovery and development of electrically conductive polymers. Since then applications such as polymer-based electronics and biosensors have provided further impetus for the growth of this R&D community. With the advances in stability of the materials, and improved control of properties, a growing number of other applications are also currently being explored.
