In the school context, the development and education of children and adolescents involve interrel... more In the school context, the development and education of children and adolescents involve interrelations between emotion, cognition and socialization; in other words, emotional and social skills management cannot be disconnected from student learning. The aim of this study is to analyze teacher training in the early years of Primary Teaching through the reading, analysis and reflection of texts on Socio-emotional Competencies and Problem Solving. Audio recordings were used, along with their transcriptions, with a view to supplying the teachers' words in their entirety, although for the article only extracts that were relevant to the understanding of the problem studied in this research were used. The conclusions indicate that Socio-emotional Education can contribute to the practice of teaching and teacher training. In addition to this, as reported by the teachers participating in the research, with the use of Problem Solving methodology in the teaching of mathematics in the classroom, space and opportunity have been gained for the development of Socio-emotional Competencies with students, improving the management of stress and conflicts in the school environment.

O presente estudo tem como objetivo investigar um grupo de professores na analise e no desenvolvi... more O presente estudo tem como objetivo investigar um grupo de professores na analise e no desenvolvimento de uma situacao-problema em sala de aula, tendo como foco as Competencias Socioemocionais e a Resolucao de Problemas. Para alcancar esse objetivo, norteamos este trabalho pela questao: Quais sao as contribuicoes de estudos sobre o desenvolvimento de Competencias Socioemocionais e Resolucao de Problemas para a formacao de professores? Os sujeitos participantes dessa pesquisa sao professores dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental da rede municipal da cidade de Sao Paulo. Frente a esta proposta de investigacao, realizamos um levantamento bibliografico sobre o tema em questao, o que acabou por apontar aspectos relevantes sobre a necessidade de formacao continuada para os professores. O presente estudo busca analisar a vivência de uma situação-problema em aulas de Matemática nos a... more O presente estudo busca analisar a vivência de uma situação-problema em aulas de Matemática nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública da cidade de São Paulo, atrelada às competências socioemocionais e à resolução de problemas, que contou com a participação de três professores que ensinam Matemática nessa etapa escolar. A pesquisa foi organizada em três partes: a discussão de uma situação-problema, o seu desenvolvimento em sala de aula, e explicitação das percepções sobre a experiência vivida. As considerações finais apontam que a prática pedagógica adotada oportunizou a aprendizagem socioemocional e a habilitação e estimulação de funções executivas, tais como o controle inibitório, a flexibilidade cognitiva e a memória de trabalho.Palavras-chave: Educação Matemática.
