Do I need new hardware?
No. I99DASH runs on the system already in your BYD. The pairing flow takes a few minutes and uses the existing screen and microphone.
Will it work with my BYD?
Every BYD model on the road today is supported. If you have a current BYD, you're covered — and we add more brands in future updates.
What languages are supported?
English and Arabic at launch, both fully conversational. More languages roll out over the air as the model improves.
How are updates delivered?
Over the air, in the background. The car checks for updates while parked, downloads them quietly, and applies them next time you start. No service appointments, no fees.
What happens to my data?
Conversations stay on-device whenever possible, and anything sent off-device is encrypted and never sold. You can wipe everything from Settings → Privacy in two taps.
Can I build apps for it?
Yes — the developer portal is in early access. Use the I99DASH SDK to scaffold, preview, and publish a mini-app to the in-car catalogue.
Can I move apps onto the driver's display?
Yes. I99DASH can run maps, music and other apps on the instrument cluster and the passenger panel, not just the centre screen — you choose what goes where. The steering-wheel trackpad even reaches the cluster.
What if something goes wrong?
Start with the help center — it covers the issues drivers hit most. If you're still stuck, I99DASH has a built-in remote-help tunnel, so support can connect to your car and sort it out with your permission. No service appointment.
